Rowing is another good option to train STR & CON. How much you carry doesn't matter, and at a "walk" (at 5 STR) you'll gain about 0.15 - 0.19 per hour. CON gain will be between 0.5 - 0.54 per hour. The ranges for gain rate are because they'll fluctuate as you row. It's fairly hard work, burning about 500 cal/hr, so bring a good source of calories. You can semi-afk it; just find a good stretch of open water, point yourself in the right direction and hit "Shift-W" and as long as the water is calm you'll stay pointed in the right direction. Biking isn't bad either, with a CON gain (I believe) of about 0.54 per hour at a "walk" on level ground - though it's hard to AFK and you need to keep an eye out for puppets!
@@Lasoneff A lot. More than ladder climbing, but less than "stuck" running on a slope. It's hard to give an exact time since the 0.54/hr won't ACTUALLY give you 0.54 of skill gain after an hour of doing it.
@Jimmy Owens I hadn't even considered that. A large raft or two in the right place might do well to block the boat if anyone is inclined to put it to the test!

Yes I know but I dont use Macros but it is allowed on my servers to level up your skills and a few people do use them for just crawling forwards and backwards in one spot.

Pro tip: when you get on the ladder, hold down the "S" key and then press "space bar" top auto climb down!
I will test it first and confirm because usually that means jumping off the ladder and dying.

Is it still possible to climb ladders without stamina use be hammering the s or w while climbing? Could be easier.

Is the amount gain per day, gained per real day or in game day?
Would have to be IRL day because people can speed up time of day in a server to abuse it.
There's a setting called Body Sim Speed, that effects everything with attributes, your body will use more food and gain muscle/ lose fat faster
