On average every 1 INT gives you 5 to 7 percent extra XP depending on what your leveling up. So from 3 to 8 INT is 25 to 35 % more XP gain when leveling skills.

I had 5 intel before the update and when I AFK stealth it was a tad quicker than the second hand of a clock and went up 1 at a time. With 5 intel after the update it is still like the second hand on a clock but goes up by 5 or 4 at a time. That's with no buffs. So just the update alone made having 5 intelligence well worth it IMO. I think best to start a character with 5 intel.

What drops those int-modules? I did the bunker and I didn't find ANY int module. Also not a single T3 potion, tough I got a few T2 potions. Found keycards and all, but not a single upgrade module of any tier...
You must loot all the depositories to find them especially the 3 big ones down below
In my test runs in single player(I have done a lot) with vanilla loot. I've found the purple and gold memory module at least once for each so must be rare. I agree with not even bothering with the grey one. Good to know the cool down resets with the server reset.
I suppose it helps leveling a little but it could DEFINITELY be better. I mean, getting that type of boost is rare with the level 3 ampules. Most of the time you'll be leveling up with 6 intelligence and 7 if you have it maxed.
I think say a 10-15% boost of exp would be nice if you could get it to 8 permanently but it's much less significant with temporary boosts and leveling skills will still feel extremely grindy, tedious and not fun.
It's a step in the right direction at least. My main concern is still on them fixing the fame ASAP.
The gold one is the rarest and as the uses get higher they become more common

Cool, so best build in your opinion 3-3-3-3, adv melee,thievery,running, medical... cool, though it will be 5 int start, but yea... why would you than want to level it up?

What's the difference between coming in abandoned bunkers at night or day (exept the minigame @ entrance
Also, do you know any scum vanilla loot server that is PvP with few PvE sectors?
Feel the puppets are also a bit less at night and no dont know of mixed servers. My Survival Evolved is vanilla and a lot has been removed from traders to make it more survival based

Awesome guide!! I really like that they've added leveling intelligence to the game!!
I do have some questions though. Prior to this update I always took 5 in intelligence because I wanted our squad to fit our 10 squad mates. With the release of intelligence leveling I'm now a bit torn to make a decision.
I understand that taking 3 in all categories is nice for the total amount of skill points you get to put into individual skills. However, I'm worried that not taking 5 in intelligence right away would be a mistake for me and my squad, since it will probably take a while to farm for these modules, right? So in my situation, because I'm not solo, it would probably still be better to put all my points into intelligence right away for squad leading purposes?
Alternatively, if I was in a squad with a person that had max intelligence right away to be squad leader, would it be beneficial for the non leader members to take away points from intelligence on creation and put it in a different category?
Hypothetically, they'd do this because intelligence could be theoretically leveled quite quickly with some focused gameplay to farm for these modules in comparison to how slow Strength, Constitution, and Dexterity take. Would this be a viable strategy? Or am I missing something?
If you want a Max Squad size on official servers then yes. Start with 5 INT

Thanks for the guide. in the beginning you say, select the swords and sell one of them. but where can i find them in 0.9. they used to be in the ww2 bunkers but i cant find them there anymore.
Chinese shops in the big city. Search all the cardboard boxes and leave the shoe boxes

Maybe it's different on the PVE server i play on, but ever since 9.0patch the chinese shops are a let down. I might find a sword when checkin both shops on like 5 different respawns, and they are never in boxes anymore, just lay on the floor or table.
Loved to farm them for easy cash, but i'll have to resort back to looting the medieval castles for the knight swords, those still spawn like mad, just gotta find some grinding stones to polish them to 100% before selling, but still good hauls if you don't want to do bunkers.
What I hate is that on every character I've made for solo, none can do practice bomb once I hit medium skill. I have to craft stuff to gain exp. Other than that, I rolled a 5 int for the server I play on and everything else is easy to level up now. Just trying to find that magic way to hit advanced demo with leveling.
Just keep cutting wires on the practice bomb. Will take a while bud 15 mins a day should get you there
@@LuthaisThat's how I used to do it but no exp gain after medium skill with defusing the practice bomb. Several others reported it too. The one time I remake my character lol.
Ha. Turns out that it needs to be less than 6 seconds in order to gain exp. Once I turned it down to 5 seconds to defuse, I gained exp. Might be in place to keep people from farming it on 6+ seconds and getting it every time.
Do we need a completely full module when going to the medical trader for an upgrade? Any idea of the cost?
Yes and quite expensive like 50 K
anyone know why my intelligence lowered to 2.9? Im new to the game and can't find anything on it
Edit: so I just discovered if you commit suicide it reduces it by .1 everytime, does anyone know if the is permanent or if it will go back up?
Permanent but you can level it up in Abandoned Bunkers with Memory modules
Yeah, was stoked when i hit ADV Engineering... just to find out im at 2.8 No worries. King Luthias held my hand and showed me how to leave my base and adventure

No any bow but it must have bow silencers on or even better slip on silencers
How do I increase my strength to 8, I thought the limit were 5. Is it to walk in a circle with a wheelbarrow?
My character has 8 strength. Most people would not be willing to grind that hard. The character creation limit is 5. You can hover over all your stats and see their max limit. Strength is 8. There's many things you could do to help you. If you want to do it the most natural way, grab a mountain bike and use it as your main way of traveling.
Wheelbarrowing in a circle with full weight capacity is another way. Chopping trees is another.

i lost my 1 INT point while trying to reach my friends (suicide :D) So do you guys recommend making new character ? It looks like so hard to level up INT :(

If you need to spawn empty modules for testing do module 1 uses 0👊🏻

Yes thats where you get Ampules from that you can drink to temporarily increase your Intelligence
