What I noticed is that there are way way more puppets on the singleplayer than on the online servers. I think more players = less puppets. Single Player is absolutely insane right now. The puppets walking throu the bunker doors is so annoying.
My max puppets are higher on my servers than in single player but yes it is annoying
@@Luthais sure, but there are always less when the server is populated. I noticed this on offical servers on yours and on raykits server. Played a lot on the new solo/duo as well. But I finally finished a successfull run now with bow and arrow on singleplayer. It took me so so long, because of the treshhold and the waiting that comes with it. Also I managed to open to big doors without a card. I always stoped after 10% opening. 5 sec wait - than continued. if it wasnt for the puppets I think the bunkers are fine like they are now - but these motherfuckers stepping throu doors is such a pain! But anyways - keep pushing man and keep up the good work I learned a lot from you sir!
Good metaphor with the bucket. It do be feeling that way when going in with a firearm.
It can even get bad enough that you can kill 3-4 Razors in a row with a back shot, just because you keep triggering that "bucket", before it finally calms down.
I'm yet to try Mr. Brenner armories, but I feel comfortable with bow/melee even with a bunch of puppets on our server.
With a firearm, need some server setting adjusting.
We recently settled on these numbers:
scum.AbandonedBunkerCommotionThreshold= 25
scum.AbandonedBunkerCommotionThresholdPerPlayerExtra= 25
scum.AbandonedBunkerEnemyActivationThreshold= 25
scum.AbandonedBunkerEnemyActivationThresholdPerPlayerExtra= 25
It doesn't allow for continues fire, but at least it eases up a bit for a duo. We haven't really tested how these numbers affected us, it just felt fair enough from the stand point that number 100 is the easiest. Although even with these settings if we open fire in lvl 1 section A it will trigger Mr. Brenner. And if not letting things calm down he will eventually greet us by the stairs.
For Mr. Brenner guide I suggest testing if flares, fireworks, radios can distract him. And from my understanding, any small room saves you from Mr. Brenner. And I wouldn't call hiding behind boxes a cheese mechanic. Because it also somewhat cheesy to hide in a small room.
Yea you can set the threshold to 100 but I like the -1.0 because of the loot you can get in there. Well then I just run out of sight. If they make him torch the rooms or crouch in ill be happy

Cool guide on what is possible with a pistol, nice change from all those super stealth runs with bows and swords.
As to if it is easy or not, I still believe you underestimate your own skills and experience from running it perhaps like 100+ times now. I'm sure your remarks are valid, but they only apply to players who can spend as much time playing the game as you did on all those test. For a real average player, who perhaps by now did that bunker maybe 5-6 times at most and failed half of the times, hearing that it is too easy and should be made even more challenging is unbelievable.
Sure, big clans (4+) or players who play 10 hours a day can run it and get rich, but then they could always do it since more time and/or man power makes every content easy. But for players with RL commitments who play maybe 6-10 hours a week, all that talk about just keep running the bunker over and over again is pure fantasy.
They need to make it more difficult for clans and good lock pickers otherwise everyone is blown to bits

Maybe, can you make a Video to what are the exact thresholds to trigger Brenner? Like running in front of his eyes, using automatic gun with supressor on level 2 or even what makes him come up to level 1?

You don't need to activate C, just A B and G for the armory's, there is no door on C, it's just for the little armory and depository I think so with a 400 fuse should be enough

A swarm of birds needs only 3 logical rules to function. I feel like they could easily make puppet swarms, also for bunkers.
If you have ever played Days Gone, you know how it could look like. Its awesome. And it presses players to cooperate. Because many will really struggle if puppets will not just wander around randomly but gather up and attack as packs.

puppets walking through the damn doors is really annoying when they aren't agro'd some start walking through a closed door when im hacking my way in and then alarm goes off because one slapped me. they need to stop that shit

It is annoying as hell can’t agree more especially on hardcore servers where you loose everything when you get killed.

Luthais can you explain something to me, i have been doing AB raids these past few days and I have seen some of your video's where you search thing and then you hear the Razors then you stop moving/searching and the Razor don't spawn, but EVERY TIME I hear the Razor and I stop and do nothing they ALWAYS spawn no matter what???
What is your stealth skill and do you move after opening gates. I do it very patiently and I always listen for the vents. So I stop moving or doing anything the second the sounds start.
Could be the server your playing on as well and are you moving slowly everywhere because too much noise will make them spawn no matter what like a gunshot

@@Luthais i lay down on the ground and use a cross bow the razor drops and i shot it in the back it dies and the vents starts making noise again and drops another one i kill it and it just repeats XD

Too much. Shotgun can work but any high velocity is bad

You cant control just the AB puppets. If you make max puppets 0 then they wont spawn anywhere

Can you do this on wasteland or MG puppet settings? I tried on SP and found it almost impossible without tears. They kept clipping through the walls etc
I will try very soon. But keeping an eye on your eye in game is crucial but you have to kill everything so you know when something new is looking at you
@@Luthais yea, I figured that out and was trying. But, They were clipping through the walls while I was trying to do mini games to open the main doors .. Was able to mitigate with keycards though. Also, when I was going to go down stairs to the G level, there were about 30 puppies congregated on the stairway. Was super difficult to kill all of them and keep quiet. I was having a hell of a time 😂. Looking forward to you trying. I was able to spray an MK18 with 1 magazine and was able to calm things down. But it was all the wasteland settings on SP. SP acts differently sometimes..

Well if You think this is broken, try to do it on official hardcore servers and solve bunker, make a video, and good luck
Ive done it on The Meat Grinder and even with 0.5 loot settings the loot in the 3 armories is guaranteed so loot settings makes no difference
@@Luthais problem is with normal zombies, because they spawn insane, like around 20 per room.. not abouth loot or anything, that is main reason.. so good luck there :)
Brother will all due respect but dont say that bunkers are easy because many players find it tough to even pass the first floor i dont even wanna say anything for the second so you might find it easy to get massive loot and all but its not easy for everybody , someone might not be a good lockpicker and its hard for him other one might not know what to do inside a bunker its not easy so please dont say that its easy when its not really
Its is after you watch all by runs in these bunkers. Even without lock picking.
@@Luthaisbut whats so good in there if you don't open the Lockers? Nothing!! I made like 100k with my old Bunker runs. They just ruined it. They need to add Missions and not this useless Bunker Update.
Gonna have to agree here, abandon bunkers are NO push over and very intimidating for new players and fresh spawns even players with experience. Not sure if your on a modded server but your runs always seem to be 'ideal' in your videos. For example you find all the right fuses right off, locate the keycard immediately, rarely have puppets pre-spawned in, razors never drop for you (quiet or not), etc. This is just not the cause with your average player paying on official servers..
@@phenomkrumper These are official settings and I just did a run on The Most Difficult server in Scum. Im trying to motivate people and help them enjoy the game brother.

Not worth the effort the devs are becoming like ARK and screwing the single player for multiplayer it was only a matter of time. Time for a new game.
