@@LisaEldridge Did she bring her own makeup because I was very pleased to see you use the Wet and Wild eye primer which compares to the Urban Decay eye primer but far less in cost. Just curious if you typically use all your own products on guests or ask them to bring their makeup and you use both theirs and yours, or if you use products like Wet and Wild in your own collection? Could you make a video on mixing products together to utilize what you have more and making it more multifunctional, like adding primer or moisturizer into your foundations, or using oils within doing the makeup, how to deal with when pigment won’t lay or the reasons for that, different uses for products so you don’t need to have something for EVERYTHING, and lastly how to touch up throughout the day without disturbing the makeup already on? When I try to touch up it never looks as seamless as it should. You can tell I’ve added a liquid or cream product over powder, or added more concealer under the eyes or on a blemish or pigment won’t stick …. it isn’t ever seamless when I touch up. You can tell I’ve touched up and I know a lot of women struggle with this as well.
Yes! A new elevated glow shade! I'm extremely pale with pink tones. Painterly is my favorite, nuanced, everyday lip color. It's not too nude, not too brown, not too mauve, and not too terracotta.
Being a beauty addict, I watch a lot of YT videos and collect makeup like there is going to be an apocalypse any minute and the person with the most makeup wins, I see a lot of true makeup artists. I have a ton of Charlotte Tilbury, Pat McGrath, etcetera. While I like there makeup it is Lisa who is the true artist. She doesn't rely on fads, so much glitter and shine that you cannot really see the person underneath. Lisa has a natural elegance to all of her makeup looks and really is extraordinary in her craft. Now, I must rush off a buy a few more of her lipsticks!

I was lip-swatching all of my lipstick today to see if there was anything that needed to be thrown out - basically that "jeanne" from chanel I've had for 12 years but that's still good - and I have to say everytime I put on one of the velvets I saw the difference very clearly and it's in the colours. It's like my lips are radiating colour with your...I have to use the Italian word, CAPOLAVORO. Love you so much! I so can't wait to try tour foundation when I get the chance.

Number one lesson I learned…I need to spend about three times as long as I have been blending. I am glad you didn’t edit out, or shorten, the actual blending actions. Like your model, I presume because it is hard to tell for certain, I have natural freckles on my face and foundations tend to look obvious over the freckles. I seldom desire to cover my freckles. I have found mineral powder foundations look less obvious over my freckles as compared to liquids. Do you have any tips for older women who have slight wrinkles and freckles on balancing our needs and improving the blending actions? This entirely look on your model is amazing.
Agreed! When you watch the pros on YT they blend, blend, blend. Probably the most important thing I learned from Lisa, especially foundation. When you watch the non pros they do one or 2 swishes, and end up with a brown stripe down the cheek, severe lines on the eyes, or clown blush. Lisa spends so much time blending and the results belie its importance. Thank you for teaching me so much!
