I personally don’t like any flat foundation brush as well. Though I should give Lisa’s one a try as I do trust Lisa’s products and her recommendations :)
I can’t stand those old fashion foundation brushes, but I do find good ones can work really well with the more fluid serum foundation. I have never thought to apply a little of the foundation and let settle before adding more layers. I’ve never seen anyone do that before, but it sure looks great on her.

Gorgeous look Lisa! Purple is my favourite colour and it can be tricky to find a matte purple with opacity and that blends well with other mattes. I have taken to really enjoying the Guerlain eyeshadow pencils and the Laura Mercier caviar sticks along with other brands as well. I always learn something new when l watch you. I remember a wedding I went to when I wore Duwop Lip Venom and irritated just about everyone with it's smell! Somehow I stole the the limelight from the blushing bride. She didn't end up minding at all and no, my lips wasn't any plumper, just more red. I recommend having some really strong cheese instead.

I read the title as makeup for welding, I was very confused for a second cus I thought it must be impressive makeup that can stay long lasting while u r welding.
I find it funny thinking how for western weddings so much thought has to go into a wedding guest's look to make sure the bride isn't upstaged, whereas south asian weddings everyone dresses up as much as they want with the knowledge that it's almost impossible to upstage the Bride's look in the first place lol
Could you please do a hooded eye tutorial? I know there are tons out there, but I feel like the models they choose have 'slightly' hooded eyes that are more forgiving. Some of us have VERY hooded eyes and let me tell you, the struggle is real 😖 I've given up on eye shadow entirely and just use mascara 🤷🏼♀️

Try Japanese sunscreens. Not dewy, and superior in comparison to European and American sunscreens in terms of protection. Majority are also chemical and not mineral based. I love Nivea UV Super Water 50 gel; . SPF50 PA+++ Not waterproof. Personally as a MUA I prefer neutral eyes with either shimmer or glitter on the lid, with focus on lashes, skin and a red lip. In the case of a wedding I’d go nude. That’s just me.

I'm actually getting married myself this summer, and as I love doing my own make-up and did my sisters for her wedding in 2019, I've decided to do my own make-up as well. This video reminded me to make sure I have long wearing foundation and to check the SPF if it's chemical or mineral. I will also definitely need blotting powder and smudge free mascara! Absolutely love the purple btw, adore.

My new Lisa Eldridge recommendation additions are Lancôme blush, Lancôme Idol mascara, and Fenty bronzer. I have been using them for couple of months and absolutely love them! You can never go wrong with Lisa Eldridge’s recommendations. O btw the Seamless foundation lasts really well under face mask. Does not transfer. I wear masks for longer periods indoors. Do you have any recommendations for a metalic graphite eyeshadow? I love the way gray metallics look on me, but i have never managed to find a shade that isn’t too black/dark or too blue. The struggle is real 💔
Tom Ford ‘Caviar’ is my all time fave - can be layered for extra depth or kept more sheer - it does crease a little but it’s worth it !
