It took a lot of patience, but I finally got to do the Warmonger Graded video! I wanted to wait for her Hero Fest, and by golly I did wait! Now that it's out and she has her 6th execution, I wanted to give her an official grade! I think this one turned out pretty well, and I hope ya'll enjoy the grade!
It was a little tricky in some areas, but I think, all in all, it came out well. - เกม
After seeing the new Warmonger's execution... I can't wait to see how this would turn out, considering most of Warmonger's executions are brutal.

What really made me cringe and shiver the first time I saw the new execution was the way he is like *begging* her to stop and then it stops as you see them die.
Edit: Not begging with like words or anything, but with their hand gestures. They are frantically trying to grab Warmonger as if to say: "Please stop, wait, I don't want to die."

I like how, in the last one, she doesn’t just push his head into the blade, she’s also using a counterforce and slamming the blade into his head at the same time. It’s a subtle movement, but makes it feel very real.
omg I hadn't noticed that before, the sword goes from slightly angling backwards to a more vertical position. Definetly adds to the brutality
I feel like the "Slaughter of the sheep" execution is one you'd reserve for the toxic players on the enemy team, lol.
For that i use Unarmed fighter or Resounding defeat. They're what i call "Know your place" executions.

@@MementoMori7777 honestly resounding defeat is just funny to me and not counter toxic, ive had it used against me a few times and its nowhere near the same feeling as unarmed fighter, i just find it fun

Sovereignty and Slaughter Of The Sheep are my favorites. Just do to how brutal and NASTY. It’s great. Warmonger is a fun character as far as executions.

Ohhh okay I see. So what probably is happening is there’s an ocean of other finishers on top. So you may have to do a bunch of scrolling.

I knew the hand through the back execution would get a 1 for realism. I mean it's not meant to be a realistic execution given Astrea and the Warmongers are superhuman with Draconite powers. So yeah.. SAW THAT COMING! Great vid once again Raven! :D
I doubt that they're actually super human in the For Honor lore, they just have the corrupted Draconite which can enhance their abilities, lol. But yes, I saw the realism rating of 1 coming as well. I figured if someone tried that in real life they'd immediately break their fingers.
Tbh all heroes in For Honor are super humans, the only normal people you see are the Minions, who are malnourished and undersized just as you would expect for a medieval setting. The heroes are literal generals, commanders, and princes/princesses that you get to play with, so they are well fed and thus huge in size compared to the minions and have the best equipment.
@@CRollins1997 I mean she can one-hand a Zweihander Effectively and fling people over her head with ease. Warmongers are either superhuman or just Stupidly strong.
@@MementoMori7777 Well swinging a sword with one arm is one thing that takes general arm strength, but it's another to shove your hand and forearm - fingers first - through a person's torso. Her arms may be strong but fingers aren't made the same way, lol.
I don't know if Humiliation is even a one in lethality. I was under the impression that she was straight up just humiliating her opponent before sending them away to spread word of the Warmongers.
And while unimportant to the grading itself. I wished you mention her head movements while sliding the Warden off her sword. She nods when he tries to resist and shakes her head when he "gives in" and dies. Very minor but a major show of personality in it.
Overall amazing video as usual Raven. It's always a pleasure to learn the how's and why's.
Damn, was really hoping to see the exacution where she chooses whether the victim is a wolf or a sheep and either exacutes or spares them. To be fair it was limited availability.

I had a suspicion that it was but I wasn't sure. In any case, we all know it was really her exacution from the start.
I use that one specifically for her.

I really wish they’d bring it back, same with the metal trials so I can get the rest of the Iron Legion and Blackstone Elite colours I missed…

The first execution that made me feel a bit odd was Black Prior's slow throat slit one, and then his slow inserting of his sword one. After that it was the music box one. Idk what it is but the thought of everything in the box getting grinded is just unsettling.
The first one, (evisceration) I would like to point out that where she draws her sword is actually also where she shoves her clawed gauntlet. She’s plunging her hand into an open wound

The "slaughter of the sheep" is the most sadistic execution I've seen so far. Slowly slicing someones head in half while looking at him/her is just evil.😨😱

Can't wait to see Lawbringer. There's one Lawbringer execution that might be odd for your grading,the one where the Lawbringer grabs a fleeing foe then knocks the foe's head hard against the flat of his pole arm after the foe raises their hands. Seems the Lawbringer is purposely being non-lethal in that 'execution' though considering the name Lawbringer I could see why he would have a non-lethal takedown.
For Warmonger's second exectuion, I was kinda hoping you would talk a little bit about the leg sweep to trip her opponent when the execution starts. For some reason I'm just kinda iffy about that kind of leg sweep/trip. I don't know, something just looks wrong about it but I can't place it....
Might be the force of the guy spinning in midair with a simple sweep.

Short and sweet, The only thing I disagree with is the last execution on it efficiency. Other than the fact that she gets back into a fighting stance afterwards, she takes too much time to set them up for this head splitting. As you pointed out isn’t it very inefficient to be trying to judge your opponents worth before killing them on the battlefield. As you said you should be efficient, do you what you have to do and move on to the next one. I would’ve given it a one, I think a two is acceptable but I wouldn’t have given it a three.
The way slaughter of the sheep made you legitimately shiver, I think one of the first ones to do that to me was one you mentioned earlier, the warden execution where he pulls his sword up through the ribs, it legit fucks with me when he does, and that's probably why her other one here doesn't hit home as strongly, cos it isn't as fucking brutal as warden's

Love this series... But two questions:
One. With the newest Execution, do you really think a sword like that could actually *cut* through a skull the way it does? I'm not so sure.
Two. When we get Legends vibeo fer Warmonger? Please?
Well to answer your first question, considering she plunged his face into the blade his skull is most likely fractured which would probably make it easier for the blade to cut through and fracture it even further.
You’re going to have to wait till Raven decides he will showcase his Warmonger.
Yes a sword can cut through your face like that, in fact alot if machete wounds don't heal properly because they shave of parts of the bone. Is more of a question of consistent pressure vs how thin the bone is where you're cutting, try processing a whole chicken and you'll see what i mean.

Something neat about the last execution for warmonger, I’m pretty sure that’s a reference to a movie called “Ninja Scrolls” or something like that. I remember the main character did something VERY similar to a guy made out of rock.

After seeing that new exe i was was thinkin real hard and you know what? That might just be the most brutal and cruel exe in for honor.

as for efficiancy in the final one, note how after the execution she instantly assumes a fighting position instead of holding the sword in her hand like she, and the warden for instance, usually do. so with the hand acting as the sheathe. she doesn't do that here
I want to add one thing: if you want someone to die quicker, you remove your weapon from their body. When you stab someone with a weapon, that weapon puts pressure on the blood vessels that it goes through. For battlefield treatment, we are trained to leave the object in the wound. A blade that cut through an artery is bad, but leaving it in vastly reduces blood loss, along with packing the wound with gauze.
The natural instinct of the victim to remove the blade makes it that much easier for them to die of blood loss. And if you're killing someone by stabbing them, you don't leave your weapon in their body. That's simply inefficient.
Slaughter of the Sheep would make Jason Voorhees proud.

ive played a fuck ton of Warmonger, before watching this I knew that she'd get a bunch of points for Lethality and Coolness, but fall in Realism and efficiency.
except for Sovereignty, everyone knows its 16/16 S-Tier execution.

For the sword sliding one at the end I love it as well. But realistically would it really cut that deep into the skull?The skull is hard and thick. The initial slam onto the blade might cut into it a bit but sliding down the blade like that and cutting the skull in half might be unlikely unless warmonger’s sword is a chainsaw. You can chop a bone in two with a heavy and sharp blade but chopping into it and dragging it back a forth will not cut it any further. Same applies here I think.

Personally I think she put her hand under the jaw and stabbed through it. Now the bottom of the jaw would be easy to stab through with those claws because of how weak it is there. Now I find unrealistic when she throws him like that with one hand. Cool asf tho

Personally I would give sovereignty a 2 in efficiency because it takes longer than evisceration but you gave evisceration a 3, I would also give slaughter of the sheep a 1 since I think it takes longer than sovereignty, just my personal thoughts on your grading, I agree with every other grade you gave.
He's not grading the efficiency in the example of playing the game. It's graded in efficiency by actual real life fighting
@@dylankosmos8358 he said it takes a long time in a battlefield and you only have your sword in one hand for evisceration, so, counting by time in a warzone, both slaughter of the sheep and sovereignty a 3 or 2, yes it gets the job done, but not as quickly meaning you have much less of a chance to react if you're in the middle of doing it. Plus, I'm not saying what I would change for the middle of the game either, he based it a lot on how much time it would take to be done with it, while both take longer than evisceration.
I love the Humiliation execution, but what would've made it better is if instead of throwing him, she just...yanks out.

Humiliation is definitely a 4 for lethality man! She totally got the throat, destroying the windpipe. It's not hard to call at all.

@@RavenKnightYT I'm not going to insist, but I do think he has a point. There does seem to be a decent chance she'd hit the trachea or the lyranx on the way up, and if she's not perfectly centered, there's also a chance she could hit the jugular vein with the claw on either her index or pinky.
3/4 is fair IMO, because of the uncertenty of exactly what she hit, but I'd lean more towards the 4/4 then 2/4.

for me warmongers executions are the best and most brutal.
Warmonger doesn’t use a Zweihander I think I believe its actually a Flamberge Greatsword if I remember correctly is what Ubisoft Devs said I could also be super wrong because their very similar
Flamberge is just the wavy blade. And a Zweihander is also a greatsword. It's a Flamberge Zweihander.
Unfortunately what I don’t think Raven Knight realizes is that ribs are actually a myth so they would offer no resistance

I would argue the new one isn’t that realistic because it would still take superhuman strength to split/cut a skull in half especially without much visual leverage

1: It appears that only her fingers and part of her palm are in, for from her whole hand as you say in the verdict.
2: Theres NO bone there to stop you from going through the jaw, the strength of the skull is irrelevant.
(There is bone between there and the brain, but she doesn’t seem to reach it anyway)

Kinda contradicted yourself on the evisceration execution. Also for humiliation if she is grabbing the jaw there is very little in the way of bone between your throat and chin, it's mostly muscle and various tissue.

Either Heavies or Assassins; It kinda depends on if he intends to follow the way the roster is categorized in-game or not and in which way he decides to follow the categorization of the roster.
Likely the Heavies if going in order.

I disagree with one of your rankings on lethality, on the execution where she stabs her claws into either the jaw or throat and throws them, I feel it should be a 4 in general. This is a medieval world, they don't have the technology we have today in order to keep someone alive without their jaw, especially in a battle. More than likely no matter which was stabbed I feel they are dead.

i think warmonger isn't using a great sword, it's more of a spadone, longer than longsword and lighter than a great sword, wich is a only explonation i cna give why is she sometmes holding a clearly two handed sword with one arm
It's a flamberge Zweihander, to be specific. She's able to one-hand it because she's just strong enough to do so.
@@MementoMori7777 streanght is one thing but if that was not a spadone she would be holding that sword on her shoulder, besides, look how thin those blades are, it can only be a spadone, not a zweihander the only character that actually has a greatsword is highlander, plus warden's longsword is the size and thickness of a zweihander
@@terrorbilly3367 Ubisoft have confirmed themselves Warmonger's weapon is meant to be a Zweihander with a flamberge blade. The wiki backs it up.
Besides if you've ever seen how Zweihanders tend to be depicted in videogames with the odd Circular hilt and wavy blade, Many of Warmonger's weapon sets Look almost exactly like that.
It IS a Zweihander, that's what it's meant to be. Take it up with Ubisoft if you have grievances about it, they're the ones that Designed her.
Obliteration is my least favourite execution in Warmommy's arsenal. It lacks that sort of cadence and purpose the rest of her executions have. Not to mention the lack of fluidity and frankly boring choreography too. Obliteration has something going for it in concept, but I believe it falls short due to a lack of time and it loses out in the potential of character (for Warmommy).
Warmommies are naturally brutal warriors with a sense of enjoyment from tormenting their enemies, or to humiliate them for being weak. They have such an interesting battlefield-centric character. Contrasting well with every other hero in the game.
I guess the shorter version of this is: "I want Warmommy's executions to feel more Warmonger-y". Lol.
"brutal". My mind immediately goes to warmonger and shaman. Hitokiri is see more as someone with high technique. Not as brutal imo
