"They feel strongly, they feel deeply" I was really hoping that the model was going to be a chair at that point. Loved the result though, I definitely agree with your summary of the ruins and the ogre being the best parts.
Hahaha, I can't remember if I actually have any bits of furniture in that roulette box or not. I should really put some more chairs and bookshelves into that treasure bin ;-)
*You are literally the Bob Ross of miniature painting.* Every single one of your videos is a joy to watch. Thank you for sharing such wonderful vibes with the rest of the community. ♡
I love how it began as a single model then developed into a fully fledged diorama. You don't like to make things easy for yourself, do you? Great work Brent, inspiring as always!
Oh man, seeing his cat "helping" made me think of my own kitties getting up to dance around my models. Thanks for letting me know I am not alone! Great video!
I love how your cat is behind you without destroying everything. I recently started to print and paint my own minis made of filament and cheap paint( helps me with dealing about losing my job because of Covid ) and my cats bites and plays with my brushes and minis. Your videos made me start into this hobbie, thank you! You are awesome!
Gotta use the water squirt bottle for when the cats misbehave ;-) For real though, I find that giving them a pillow to sit on just out-of-the way really helps protect my hobby stuff from cats. Then when I leave the room I try to cover the important stuff up.
I made a real magic potion one time, at a place my brother calls "the ADD house." I want to say my chemical or biological knowledge was important, but really I was just there for moral strength. I had slight visions after drinking the potion, none of the amazing dreams the other non-witches claimed to experience.
Man, those early 2000's metal Fantasy models are so expressive! The modern sculpts are really cool but there's just something really nice about the old minis...
At the beginning I was not really into your channel Brent, but with time it has grown in my heart. I love how you make everything so enjoyable and welcoming. You are a true kind heart man, cheers.
That last picture at 29:02 makes it look like she's putting the head in the stew, which makes me think that that arm in the stew is his too. And if he's human and they're elves (and an ogre)... it's not cannibalism.
"Welcome to Goobertown Hobbies..." has the same uplifting feel for me as the closing music over on Midminter Minis. My world is a better place. I really like the idea of the Blood Elves having Ogres as part of their retinue. On the music front; I'd go for Blood Pulse.
Hey man just wanted to say that recently I've taken up painting minis as a hobby and I'm really enjoying it! Keep doing what you're doing cause it sure does inspire people :) Great vid by the way!
I love this concept of matching magic colours to miniatures. It is not only the colour choices, but the overall character and story they tell. Bravo Brent for this wonderful idea!
Holy thanks for showing my goblin at the end! I love that you did a whole scene, honestly my favorite part was the base it looks amazing. Also I hope you keep up the wet blending, it's a personal favorite of mine and that ogre turned out great
This was awesome. Have watched mainly for the painting tips so this was the first roulette I watched, I'm now going to go through any other you have. Really, genuinely loved the whole diorama and discovering each element. From the witches to the temple to the awesome blue ogre. I hope you kept this going and I've just missed them.
Since the very first one, Goobertown Roulette has been my favorite Goobertown video. I love the idea of painting random minis that would otherwise sit on a shelf or in a box somewhere, and the color selection options that you choose really make me open my eyes to things I might never have considered. Seriously, something so obvious as drawing magic cards to determine color and characteristics for the mini.... I never would have thought of it. Thanks Brent!!
I love how this came together! from using randomness to pick what you paint to then going with what you felt like doing after the path had been set. I get so much inspiration from your channel, I love it. Very well put together video as well!
Thanks for sharing a new painting channel. When I am unable to do the hobby myself I watch painting, lore and tactics videos. This is so I’m still hobbying even when I can’t. I’ve learned a lot from you, so thanks for that too.
You know I didn’t sleep last night. Maybe two-three hours at most. So I thought I’d grab some breakfast and have some coffee (something I VERY rarely drink) before work. I thought it was going to be a bad day. I see it was fate that decided to keep me up so I could be early to Brent’s video. Thank you for making my morning a good one Brent!
BREEEENT! I needed a Goobertown Roulette video! The blood rave turned out awesome! I need to catch back up on painting soon. Maybe try a roulette myself. Everytime I watch a new video from you, you always spark any missing inspiration that might have died out within me. Thank you!

Brent, you painting that ogre was one of the most enjoyable things I've watched on TH-cam in a while! Painting Bravely indeed. You've inspired me to paint a troll tomorrow using a similar technique!
Yes, this did turn out awesome. Liked the idea of using the Magic cards and using other figures to test the color scheme. Final diorama display is great, but I love that Ogre being bluish purple instead of the typical green. Another roulette challenge well done Brent. Looks like you nailed that wet blending BTW

Really impressed with this Brent, especially the Ogre, the wet blends and highlights look incredible. I’d be really happy with how he came out. It’s up there with one of my favourite individual models I’ve seen you paint.
Been waiting for another one of your vids! Started watching them just before COVID hit, and during COVID I decided to start painting for myself. Been having a lot of fun, so thank you! Warm greetings from Holland!

It ALL turned out amazing, but that Ogre is REAL nice. Great work on the wet blending - I just gave that a shot for the first time on a base of one of my models and was pleased with results. I'm trying to "paint bravely" more often.
I really love that color of Magic idea. I'm getting my first couple of space marines and I've been struggling on how I should paint them. I might just have to use this idea and see where it takes me.

I'd like to say that my favorite thing about this video is everything but unfortunately I can't because my favorite thing about this video is how patient you were with your awesome cat who insisted on interrupting your painting. Great display! Great video! Had fun doing my season 2 challenge although it did not make the video!
Looking forward to my season 3 model. Might have to do a group shot of seasons 1-3 after that one is done.
A group shot would be epic. I've done this 8 times now, I should seriously consider doing that too!
@@GoobertownHobbies Heck yeah! It would be amazing to sneak that in at some point. An epic family picture of all the roulettes from the very start of the channel from back before "Goobertown" was a household name (well, at least it is in my household!).
I love this concept! Two of my favorite hobbies brought together in sweet harmony
Ultra wholesome. You had me at deep trance blood techno.
Love the ogre skin colour choice, Goobs. Nicely done, mate :) And also the phrase "fun cannibalism".
Just stumbled in this video. Finally I have an idea how to tackle those Bones Minis I got a couple of years ago. Will mix some other old minis with them and start that roulette..
Thanks for the inspiration. And awesome looking set you painted!
