  • Brandywine Creek State Park is an awesome place to mountain bike near Philadelphia and Delaware. Cool rock features and steep DHs make this one worth the ride.

    At 10:40 there's a narrow bike ramp off to the left on the top of the fallen tree that you missed. That ramp goes in quite a ways too, but it isn't in the best state of repair anymore, sadly. Maps and TH-camr's videos keep terming all of this Brandywine Creek State Park trails, but that's only partially true. Some of the trails go in to First State National Historical Park, which is in both Delaware and Pennsylvania (It's Delaware's only National Park), and that has its own specially-made bike ramps and jump-off points in the woods, not too far from Brandywine Creek State Park.

    So much there I still haven't ridden. Definitely want to check out Jedi Knight next time. And Longwall trail has some really tough (for me at least) rock gardens. I haven't been able to clear them yet. Need to get out there this year.

    So bummed I missed this one, but it looks like you had a good time. Next time I will try and get my buddy Stick to give us a tour, there are some really good slabs, drops and jumps sprinkled throughout the park. It's like a spaghetti maze back there, lol.

    You're in my backyard! I like Brandywine but a little too much up and down and not a lot of flow. Great for tech and random features, but I'll usually go to White Clay of I feel like taking it easy, or drive 45 minutes to Birdboro, Mt Penn or Trexler, who has a pretty sick jump line now). I wish they had a shuttle bike park somewhere between DC and Philly though. Bryce is about 4 hours and Mountain Creek is 3 ... I'll never go back to Blue unless I feel like cracking my frame so I leave that off the list. If they had one somewhere around the PA/MD border it'd be a gold mine!
    Any bike park trips planned this season besides Creek and Bryce? You'd LOVE Thunder, Highland or Killington.

      @FoCoFlowShow  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea - a shuttle park would be awesome in that region. You could kinda shuttle Michaux but not the same

    You missed a lot. I would not recommend climbing the trail you climbed at 9:14 again. It's primarily a downhill run by most local riders.

      Good to know thank you! What other good trails should I try to hit out there?

      @@FoCoFlowShow Fight Club on the PA side is the best jump line out there. Ton of rocky stuff towards the JCC side. Take @TrailSage offer and get Stick to show you around. He knows the trail system well.

    I was hoping to see the B footage for your crash on the 360 camera. Darn! Existential crisis. if a Forest falls in the trees and no one sees it on TH-cam, did the Forest really fall down?
