Rode most of these trails yesterday and it was quite the blast. I’m not crazy on the bike but def got some nice speed and little air here and there and made for such a great time. I really do love the challenges at DuPont and the flowy trails. Awesome video!
thank you so much for this video. i was looking for family friendly trails for my family in wester NC. we plan to make a stop in nc for a few nights driving from florida to final destinatioon in pigeon forge.
Good stuff. Love that loop but like to add in Hilltop Loop and Rocky Ridge into the mix. Also like playing with different lines on that rock on Jim Branch at 5:23. Fun!
I totally agree with hilltop and rocky ridge but once I started editing I realized the video was going to be much too long if I included those! That rock feature is so fun for line choices!
@@MtbFrequentFlyer I believe it... All the different cuts and drone footage .... Did u film it across multiple days or single day? Did you have multiple cameras set up to take the coming and going shots or did u just do it with multiple takes..
@@Bringinheat 4 days of filming with the go pro and sony zv1 for the coming and going shots. Flying the drone in the forest was a bit unnerving but fortunately turned out okay lol
I was riding BuckForest rode back in the day and a pickup with California plates very courteously overtook me. When I got to visitor center it(the pickup) was parked behind a semi with two giant fake rocks on the trailer. The driver of the pickup apologised profusely for stirring up dust when he passed. I was like, "Dude, you aint from around here are you, Im usually dodging beer bottles." I asked "Whats up with fake rocks, not enough real ones?" He laughed and said "Well, I cant really say, but I am production manager for movie." I had read Hunger Games, one of my favorite books was being filmed at DuPont, and said so. He laughed and shrugged.

@@MtbFrequentFlyer I see, but always tell them going down Hooker Creek to get to Ridgeline is a much better option than a fire road. This spring I met a group of Pittsburgh riders at the entrance of White Pine and convinced them to go down Hooker Creek to get to Ridgeline instead of the road. They were stoked when I saw them in the Lake Imaging parking lot later. haha
Really took the video quality to the next level with this one! Excellent job
Thanks mate! Made me wanna go back and ride editing this one 😁
Just hit these trails for the first time yesterday. Best flow over ever been on, period. You guys ripped it!!
That is awesome that you got the experience it! Thanks for watching and keep on shredding!

Very nice and informative. Awesome ride!
One of my favorites... It's a must when I'm in the area... BTW, excellent video 👌
Thanks mate! Loved shooting this one as this loop made me fall in love with MTB !
Love it! Great job boys! These are without a doubt best all-around trails I’ve ever ridden!🤘🏻
Thanks mate! Can’t wait to ditch this cold weather and come hit GFT soon!
Great Video. Nice meeting you on top of Hickory on this day. Thanks for the sticker.
Glad we got the chance to chat a bit before dropping in! Thanks for watching mate!
Your new whip is looking sweet. Nice ride. Can’t wait to hit those trails.
Thanks mate! They are so much fun to ride and will always be my go to when taking newer riders out to get em hooked!

You should do more videos showing where to park and how to access trails. Especially I’m that area where you need to connect multiple trails
I will try and mention parking for areas that are difficult to find in the future! Thanks for the suggestion
Good to see you at these trails last week. We were the guys from Mass.
Did some 23-34 miles at Dupont on a single speed hardtail. In some areas, I was working harder on the descents than the climbs.
your videos are really awesome, please make some more!!!!!
i will be at dupont on the 15th of October. Any suggestion on where to park for ridgeline and hooker
That's looks pretty cool mate 🤘
Thanks dude! It’s such a fun ride
My Brother in Law moved to Brevard recently. I got to get up there to do some riding.
So much to ride! Definitely bring the bike!
Yoooooooo mate !!! Great video 💣💣🔝
Thanks dude! I put a lot of time into this one but the trails were so fun that it was well worth while! Hope to see you out there soon!
great job with the edit and the multi angle work...
Thanks mate! I think around 100 hours went into this one including filming and editing. Glad you enjoyed it!

That Jim Branch, Hooker, Ridgeline loop is really epic. You really need a gps app out there. Just a lot of confusing intersections.
As always a quality video. Definitely one of my favorite places to ride.
Thanks dude! Made me rethink living down in Georgia and move up here lol
What happens if you get lost? Is there cell service
What do you use to keep the cables together to eliminate chatter ??
Riding that double track
Flames
🔥
This is dope! Thanks for the video I’m going to try it on a board
Btw if you didn’t know they filmed part of hunger games at high falls
I’ve heard that before but didn’t know it was high falls just heard DuPont

Add tabletops and it would be awesome
No lie! That would be so amazing if there were some real jumps !
Makes no sense to skip Hooker Creek if you are going to straight to Ridgeline.
I agree but the extra climb tends to make newer riders struggle so I figured I’d give them the option 😁

Do you have this route in Ride With GPS?
@@kathyseeley5458 I linked the trailforks route in the description. Hopefully that combined with this edit will get ya to the top no problem!
Nice video but let's not destroy the trails by intentionally skidding. Not cool.
