Amy and I felt like a VIPs when we arrived with all the help, but the reality is that's just the way the Squad rolls. BTW, reason I was "late" was because day of departure I was fortunate to be helping some Squad members with their insurance, and couldn't peel away from the office on time 😁! Regarding mold. It will be money well spent to have a mold specialist collect samples and test to determine the type of molds that you may have. It can be very difficult to totally eliminate mold. Certain types of mold can be a real health hazard, especially in the south where black mold is common. If you start to demo, a respirator is essential. Disturbing materials can cause mold spores to release and become airborne. Any way, just be safe when working in buildings where mold is suspected. Demolishing buildings and rebuilding with a solid foundation may actually be less expensive in the long run. Testing can tell you the type of molds that you have and effectiveness of remediation. Good luck on this project!
I gotta agree with David! I own a environmental testing company and getting a mold survey done wouldn’t be a waste of time or money. Honestly it’s not as much money as you may think. Just a thought 💭 🙏🏻♥️

@@martinparmer As a mold inspector, you are right without water/moisture there is no mold. Also mold is all around us in our environment. You do not get rid of mold you control the environment so mold does not exceed outside parameters. Renovations are fine if the structure is sound.
Who'd a thunk it? Mold in the southeast! I grew up in GA and mold was and is a constant down there. It takes work to keep it out and more work to get rid of it.
With the kitchen you can do a buffet style, open only certain days of the week and it can be open to the public and for the rvers generating more revenue

I find myself in a situation that's really unique in the fact that my wife and I are so proud of so many people we have never met. I can see the time line of this adventure of yours becoming a movie in a couple years! People just don't do what you people did and people don't do it for the reasons you did it. Until now. I'm 61 years old and have met thousands of people, and what a rare and wonderful breed of people you are. My wife's uncle has owned his campground local to us for 30yrs and it's not easy. He just added 100 sites I believe this spring and summer. Its a never ending job. You will be busy for the rest of your lives. Lots of great memories to be made along with some bad ones. I think your on a great path and hope God guides your way.
Sometimes the harder you have to fight to make something happen the more it means. When I started my business we had no money, no insurance, and we were told we couldn't have kids. The month that I gave up my full time job to go full time in my business my wife got pregnant with our 1st child. Some how with Gods help we made it through. Four years later we had 3 companies go bankrupt on us and I was wondering if we should quit, when my wife got pregnant with our 2nd child. By that time we had insurance so we felt we had to keep going. My kids grew up in the shop and have grown up as hard workers. As long as you don't give up on yourselves you'll be alright.
Guys, a $150. Ozone machine will kill all the mold and mildew and freshen the place up. Also white vinegar works so much better than bleach in dealing with mold and it's non toxic. Blessings. Praying for you.

You should add a small section for like some campgrounds I have gone to they have this "seasonal" area and for people who want to RV but don't want to tow you can take your rv and just never tow it and have a yearly fee. That will also bring in people with destination style rv'v

I'm sorry to say I was disappointed with your insurance man we had talked over about insurance for my motorhome my class a I've got a 1992 Allegra Bay motorhome 30 footer he told me that he wanted $900 and I thought it was $900 a year and he said no $900 a month well that's paying for another motorhome I got my insurance with AAA auto club I'm paying $200 a year and my license tags is only $200 a year so he suggested I keep the insurance that I already have which made more sense I couldn't see paying $900 a month on insurance for my class a motorhome that's a 1992 motorhome $900 a month that's a payment for a brand new motor home where should I take out insurance at $900 a month when I'm already paying $200 to AAA auto club I think you order do some research get a cheaper insurance I have no idea what you're paying but when he suggested I make a $900 payment for his motorhome insurance I said no thank you I'll think I'll keep what I have that's only $200 a year John Mercedes

Mercedes I highly recommend you get herbal remedies books and foraging for edibles and herb books. Your in a perfect place to harvest wild herbs. This time you got lucky and could get a prescription fast. But there will be times ahead where you can’t. It will build your confidence in handling just about anything. And the cabins could make great B & B rentals
I like you two so much and have nothing but respect for you! I want to come out once you're open but I'm nervous about my religious beliefs. Is your business going to be denominational? Is there going to be anything mandatory such as bible study or anything? Please address topics like this. You are quite vocal about your beliefs and I have no issue with it just don't want my beliefs trampled on. Not like my beliefs would be brought up to begin with but I do have religious statues and such in my rig people may see if they were invited in or peeked in. Sounds like you are doing a great job! Thanks… but the hardwood floors yikes… covering them up might be a mistake. They have been there for a very long time. My experience is they take a beating. I encourage you to sand and revarnish them. You will not be disappointed…
I'm 73. I don't have the energy I once did to keep up with the housework. The older I get, the farther away it seems the floors get. We live on a good sized property that is mostly bare dirt (sandy). The floors are always some kind of dirty. Can't keep up with it: more comes in as soon as the vacuum is put away. I just try not to look at the floor. LOL ;-)
Mark 11:23 is a perfect scripture for my husband and I right now. He was diagnosed with some scary things and we are believing that the mountains of ill health will be removed from both of us & we will be healed, healthy and happy for many years.

Actually, the composition in vinegar stagnates the mold but does not destroy it.

I'm sorry to say I was disappointed with your insurance man we had talked over about insurance for my motorhome my class a I've got a 1992 Allegra Bay motorhome 30 footer he told me that he wanted $900 and I thought it was $900 a year and he said no $900 a month well that's paying for another motorhome I got my insurance with AAA auto club I'm paying $200 a year and my license tags is only $200 a year so he suggested I keep the insurance that I already have which made more sense I couldn't see paying $900 a month on insurance for my class a motorhome that's a 1992 motorhome $900 a month that's a payment for a brand new motor home where should I take out insurance at $900 a month when I'm already paying $200 to AAA auto club I think you order do some research get a cheaper insurance I have no idea what you're paying but when he suggested I make a $900 payment for his motorhome insurance I said no thank you I'll think I'll keep what I have that's only $200 a year John Mercedes

Mercedes I highly recommend you get herbal remedies books and foraging for edibles and herb books. Your in a perfect place to harvest wild herbs. This time you got lucky and could get a prescription fast. But there will be times ahead where you can’t. It will build your confidence in handling just about anything. And the cabins could make great B & B rentals
I like you two so much and have nothing but respect for you! I want to come out once you're open but I'm nervous about my religious beliefs. Is your business going to be denominational? Is there going to be anything mandatory such as bible study or anything? Please address topics like this. You are quite vocal about your beliefs and I have no issue with it just don't want my beliefs trampled on. Not like my beliefs would be brought up to begin with but I do have religious statues and such in my rig people may see if they were invited in or peeked in. I'm 73. I don't have the energy I once did to keep up with the housework. The older I get, the farther away it seems the floors get. We live on a good sized property that is mostly bare dirt (sandy). The floors are always some kind of dirty. Can't keep up with it: more comes in as soon as the vacuum is put away. I just try not to look at the floor. LOL ;-)
Mark 11:23 is a perfect scripture for my husband and I right now. He was diagnosed with some scary things and we are believing that the mountains of ill health will be removed from both of us & we will be healed, healthy and happy for many years.

Try drying out your home after the 4th time it has flooded...we just rebuilt our home after hurricane Michael...Mud I can take,fecal matter and flood waters not so much.
