You should look into it more before you go out and buy them. That way you won't waste your money if they are gonna end up not working well.
It still won't work honey. I used only polish that came in the kit. Not only did it chip it peeled and made the nail polish look dull!

i was going to say, im pretty sure the top coat is only meant to be used with the gel colours in the same line so its weird that they only sent out the top coat in the ipsy bag! hope it works better for you! love you!
My sister used both the gel color plus the gel top coat and loved it. It lasted her a week and usually polish doesn't last her that long. So yea maybe try both together.

I feel like we found eachother (really i found you ) in such a good season in my life. I went from making 17-25$ an hr working at a restaurant to 0$ an hr and about to pay a butt load of money to go back to school. So when i say my makeup shopping days are over its a touchy subject. I cant even window shop because its that depressing. Im SO glad you enjoy drug store products as much as you do and i am SO glad you arent as high maintenance as the other vloggers i am subscribed to dont get me wrong i love my nicole guerriero ad jaclyn hill videos but you i truly connect with because girl das expensive forreal and you dont let me think irrationally of makeup and that how i DONT really need those 35$ lashes. Im rambling but point is ive been kind of depressed and moping since my job change and not even putting on makeup and just been sad about not having money (yes i know money doesnt buy happiness and is just money but it sucks when you dont have it anymore) but i woke up to this video and you put a smile on my face and it just really means alot. So with that sad i shall go shower actually DO my hair for the first time in over a week maybe film me doing my makeup (now that i have all this time in my hands and its been months) and for that i thank you . Last couple days have been hard to get out of bed. K im done love you and thank you for being you. Some might not appreciate it but i really do!

Hi Sasha! I read ur comment and I felt it to my core. My husband was making 1800$ a week and then fell off to where I'm lucky if I could put 5$ in gas for the week. Makeup is my addiction! So it does suck seeing our TH-camrs beautiful highlights and foundations and I just feel like left out of it all. But I been busting out my collection lately and making things work. I will find a shadow that well look as awesome as Becca opal is described. Or I'll mix my foundations with setting spray to find s lumi finish. So don't give up girl. God never gives us what we can't handle and I know that saying maybe over said but we are all stronger than we think.
Totally understand this.. It does get ridiculously old watching TH-camrs do only high end and even say "oh that's not me" ect but it's all they do lol. Kathleen is the most real down to earth...

I have to say Im with you 100%. Im waiting the arrival of our 1st baby girl & working at a great job but its only min wage which is not much to live on. But i love my makeup & now with not being able to buy makeup it gets hard watching some videos where it would cost me my annual salary to complete. I only use d/s products & love em. I have way more makeup than 1 needs anyway but i love her-this channel. She is amaxing, down to Earth & beautiful. But i wanted to just say you are fortunate being able to go to school & i bet it will all pay off. Im sure its going to be hard & tough but you can do it. We all need a perk me up every once & awhile. I hope you get ursrlf gorgeous w/out all the fancy things bc its possible. ♥♡ give urself a reward though. We all deserve a makeup goodie every once & awhile. :-)

I hate Rimmel mascaras. All of them are too wet and mess up my eye makeup. However, I love the Rimmel Stay Matte foundation and their lip pencils are awesome!!

I have the lash accelerator mascara, and it started out too wet, but I've been using it for like 3 weeks now and it's really good. It's kind of like the Jordana BLE where you have to let it dry out a bit.

girl the rimmel stay matte primer is the worst. it made me straight up CAKEY if I wore it under liquid foundation. no matter what. I have never seen a primer that makes your skin WORSE except that one

Honestly, I do not trust beauty gurus well certain beauty gurus on certain products because they'll rave about something, talk about the discount code, then I read the comments and people are talking about all the problems they're having and it just its a turn off. I have no problem with youtubers having sponsors I get it, but it does bother me when I don't feel they're truly being honest about something or when they don't investigate a product before promoting it. Because of course that company is going to be great and wonderful to them and what they're sending but what about the rest of us. On the final note of this extremely long comment. I really do trust your opinions and reviews on products I always feel like you're being honest and sincere and that is all we ask for. :) great video it'd be cool if you did more of these

I haven't used any of these, so I can't say I agree, but I love videos like these. TH-camrs rave so much about products they love, I find these a fun change. Looking up "products I regret buying" is how I found you in the first place, months ago!
I COMPLETELY agree with you about the velour lashes! I've gotten MAYBE 6-7 uses before they completely fall apart and I AM gentle. I don't put mascara on them and I don't use a lot of glue. I'm very disappointed =( they're beautiful on they just don't last!

I thought I was the only one in the world to have issues with these lashes! The only time I didn't have issue with removing glue from the band was after the first use. After that, every time I remove the glue, at least 3 pieces of hair would fall off...there goes $3 worth of hair every time. By the time I get to my 15th use, probably half of the hair will be gone.
I was SO sorry to hear about your allergic reaction to the Mario Badescu spray! I got a free sample of Mario Badescu products from Ulta this month and fell in love with his line - I talked about this spray in my October favorites blog! I recommend this to anyone who is not allergic to any of the ingredients - it really refreshes my face and I like that I can put it on top of my other creams without interfering with them. I like the rosy smell also. I totally understand why you wouldn't like it though after that allergic reaction. Just wanted to let your other viewers know that even with very sensitive skin I did not have any allergic reaction to the product, I use it every night, and I recommend it!
I had the same issues with any of the Benefit tints...what I ended up doing was "painting" them on to my ELF small stipple brush and then blending them into my cheeks. That is the ONLY way I can do it without having a patchy mess on my face. Either way, just give me a dang powder blush...I'd rather not deal with the hassle!

That's a great idea!!!
I apply them to my fingers first and then blend into my cheeks. This gives you an immediate blend(even faster than the stipple brush) so it's impossible to get steaks.
the reason why is because benefit tints stain quickly so dont leave it on your face for a long time and it won't be patchy! hope this helped :D
The way I apply the benefit tints is by dotting about 4-5 on my cheek (one cheek at a time) then rubbing it in and finally blend it out to get rid of harsh lines with the RT stippling brush!! Works great for me!! :D hope it helps you!

I would suggest that you check out the return policy online or in store before buying and if you don't like it then you can return it and get your money back.

I feel you on the bizarre allergies! I'm horribly allergic to ALOE and break out and feel like my skin is on fire! Such a bummer because pretty much 80% of beauty type products (lotion, face cleansers and such) have aloe. So sad!

KathleenLights A lot of things on TH-cam seem to be hyped up by popular gurus that aren't even that good, or at least worth the hefty price tag. IAmJustAMakeupLover made a vlog explaining how awful Gerard cosmetics are and they're always raved about by so many TH-camrs. Haven't tried them myself so I can't really give my opinion, but it just goes to show that sometimes hype is just that - hype.

Hi kath, rose water is actually too strong if you just spray it straight from the bottle. I think you might need to add water to it in a different container, ratio rose water 1:3. the water should be 2:3 more from the rose water. Sorry, I'm sucks at explaining but i hope you can comprehend what I'm trying to say. I hope this helps! Xx

The spray is made with rosewater, it's not actually rosewater.
I couldn't agree more on the PosieTint. I have other Benefit products I love (like the Dandelion blush and High Beam), but PosieTint just makes me want to cry. Every freaking time I think I've blended it in really well and then I look in the mirror and there's that stupid initial brush stroke looking like a scar on my cheek. Also, thanks for mentioning the Wet 'n Wild Walking the Red Carpet palette. When that released I saw that gold and was mesmerized, but alas, none of my local drug stores ever carried that limited edition line. I was heartbroken. I'm glad nothing of any value was lost.

i totally agree on the smash box thing! I have the full exposure palette and the shimmery formula is so bad because it feels scratchy and glittery, along with having a lot of fallout.

What I do with the benefit tints on my cheeks is put a little on the back of my hand and use my stippling brush to apply/ blend it in, it distributes it evenly and works soo much better than putting it on straight from the brush!

For the benefit tint I find that placing it on your fingers first and then on your cheeks and/or lips it works soooo much better and doesn't leave the streaks that you were talking about :)

You are probably correct. A lot of people are allergic to floral hydrosols, e.g. Rose water, and don't realize it. If you have seasonal allergies to pollen, grasses, flowering trees, I'd stay away from true florals in your products.😊
the benefit tints work really well if you put some on the back of your hand and apply it with a stippling brush instead of directly to your face. i swear it makes your cheeks so glowly and perfect especially posietint!

Benefit tints are terrible!!!! Korean brand tints are amazing, i regret spending money on the benefit ones whereas the korean brand tints are like 50x better and 50x cheaper 😒😒😒

Omg!!! I have been using the Scandal Eyes Rimmer mascara for years and I use it nonstop. No other mascara compares to it!! I feel like at the beginning it's not perfect, but then once you wear it a little, it gets perfect

I think it really shows that you actually care about your videos and your viewers and you're not just doing it for the money.

any word heard of the brand e.l.f? (eyes lips and face) its super inexpensive and works great i wear it looks fine and the brushes are really good the products are below $7.00 which is like $5.00 $6.00 $4.00 $3.00 $2.00 $1.00

I love me some milani too!. BUT THAT LIQUID EYE THO. Every time I have ever worn it I blink and tear up LIKE CRAZY. I want to love it cause its so black and pretty but I'm crying!
PS- I wore a eye look inspired by your last eye tutorial and got proposed too! I don't know if that had anything to do with it but my eye shadow game was strong, girl!

I totally agree with you on the scandaleyes mascara. I hate how sloppy it is. However, I have recently tried the Miss Manga mascara (the black and pink tube) and it is now my go to "holy grail" mascara. I used to use the line stiletto mascara but this blows it out of the water. Also, what do you think of N.Y.X products? I really like their single shadows, lip products and under eye concealers.
Absolutely agree on the Benefit tints! I personally find though that most liquidy stains will streak on me though, I've had better luck with thicker gel ones like Model Co's.

I have the same issues with a lot of the pricier eyelash brands I've used. I love Ardell lashes and find that they work better than a lot of the more expensive brands. I love that you aren't promoting expensive brands all the time and actually cater to people on a budget. I find that a lot of beauty gurus on TH-cam don't do that. It's like, come on! We all can't afford to wear Chanel and Dior!
