🐸 yes, please do a video on blush tones and especially on mature skin. I’m 70 and very fair cool-skinned and almost every blush is too LOUD or orange😂 . Mature women of every hue are ignored by most companies because of what I see in IRL. 😢 Go for it, Gabi🎉🎉
I am 54 and post-menopause and find the liquid blushes by Hourglass to be divine. They are more pricey but a little goes a long way and it’ll last for a while. I would love a video on various blushes. Also, skin does dry out as you mature. I was shocked at how less oily I am after going through menopause, as I’ve always been in and out of Dermatologist offices to treat my oily skin- acne skin. So anyone trying to say women’s skin doesn’t dry out over time is fooling themselves - it’s just the hot flashes causing deception 😂
Thank you for such an awesome suggestion! I haven’t tried those but I’ll pick them up when I go to Sephora next! And yes about the skin drying out 👏🏽 thank you!!! I can’t tell you how many irritated comments I get about that. It is not that I think everyone’s skin gets dry but for most people it gets dryer. It’s simply a fact.
I feel like there is not enough content aimed to help you guys. I really want everyone to have the skills to feel better about themselves. Thanks for watching.
I had no interest in blush until I entered middle age. It was all about the bronze! Now I have a range of Merit flush balms. Placement is important. Great tips. Thank you
Love this video, as all of yours. Your delivery is so relatable, and your knowledge…so inspiring! I’m curious your thoughts on cleaner brands, like Ilia, RMS Beauty, etc?
This is such a helpful video Gabi! I’d love to see a video on different brands and colors of blush for mature skin. A question I have is should we be putting a powder blush over our cream blush?
Sounds good! I’ll make that soon! As for the powder - layering blushes like that make them last longe but use very thin layers so that you don’t risk things looking patchy.
Yes, love this video and want to see more. I am still not sure where to add bronzer as a senior. I’m petite, and I do have the cheekbone application for blush down. I use Westman Atelier for cream. But when/where do we add bronzer for some additional color? Thanks Gabi! ❤
Maureen watch the video on wednesday! I show bronzed, blush, contour and highlight. It’s super clear and easy to follow. I think you will find it helpful.
I use the One Size gel liner on my lower lash line. I don’t put it near my waterline, and it stays put all day. It fades a little, but not much. Even if I occasionally use it on my waterline, it stays put for hours. It also doesn’t bleed onto my lash line or smudge everywhere.
Yes you can also powder the oily areas only. Don’t be afraid to experiment with textures too. For some clients, I’ll use a satin finish foundation in the center of their faces and then a cream based on the apples blending into the neck and decolete.
I save my natural bristle brushes for powder and synthetic for liquid/cream. Just preference due to the ability to keep them clean! Also the brush description will tell you if it’s suitable for cream or powder products.
Draga Gabi, hvala na super savjetima. Molim te za pomoć oko obrva. Tvoje su predivne. Mislim da su moje pretanke i da sam ih previše stanjila. Moju su obve prirodne. Šta da radim... Koji su tvoji savjeti?
I have a narrow, long face. If I apply blush higher I feel like there is a lot of open real estate below that is just there hanging out. Does this make sense or am I missing something?

I always say "yes" - please do it, because it's well worth the time.

And how about eyeline tricks for under eye without smudging. Merci🎉❤

This video is so timely for me. But I still don’t know what color. A video on all the colors would be perfect.
Great video Gabi😄😄😄
Thank you!! 😁
My 57 yo skin is dry on the cheeks w/smile "crinkles" but oily T zone. I use such a light hand and prefer "satin" finish is either cream or powder.
Yes you can also powder the oily areas only. Don’t be afraid to experiment with textures too. For some clients, I’ll use a satin finish foundation in the center of their faces and then a cream based on the apples blending into the neck and decolete.
Do blush brushes change whether you wear cream or powder blush?
I save my natural bristle brushes for powder and synthetic for liquid/cream. Just preference due to the ability to keep them clean! Also the brush description will tell you if it’s suitable for cream or powder products.
I use "slightly" dense for cream (so it doesn't pick up too much cream) and small fluffy brush for powder.

I appreciate education on blush. I believe blush hates me. It just has never looked good on me. I get embarrassed when wearing it honestly.
