Just Subscribed. We fixed the carb problem on our Super A Farmall. We installed a brand new $41 china Carb on it. So far its been great. We have a video of the carb install on our channel. That china carb was so good. We bought two more and intend to install them on our BF Avery and Vac Case.

I had a '50 Cub that I took the top of the carb off, and put it in a vise and straightened it by applying a wee bit off force to the part that wasn't in the vise. It wasn't perfect but it fixed the problem. Doing that, you have to be careful not to crack or break it.
Of course the ultimate fix would be a new carb, preferably an IH one.

I tried putting this one in a vise, but it was warped at least 3 different ways. I could not put enough force on it before I felt like it might crack or break. I have a new carb, but is in reserve until I have no other choice.

Does your carb have a Ventura? Was it installed right? It could have been torqued with Ventura not right and did the damage? Put as many gaskets as it takes together the job done. Great job.
