I cheated and used a BlueTooth bass-boost speaker, but the sound sections slot in so well! I get SO relaxed watching any steel being turned, it soothes me incredibly. Kudos on another wonderful video, I look forward to your next one!

Das Metall erhält dadurch eine viel edlere Optik! Boiling the metal parts in vinegar makes a much nobler appearance than treating tham with cold bluing.
I also recently managed to restore a very similar pepper mill. At home using a drill driver, multi grinder and sandpaper. The only difference is that after sanding the wood, I used stain and clearcoat (gloss).

None of that is food safe. Not the paint, not the linseed oil. Please pick a food-safe paint and use orange peel oil next time.
Doseage makes the poison. You would get sick from the pepper itself before the linseed or paint would do anything.
