I love watching your videos. I adore how you do your best to keep as many of the original components as possible. Very little "oh this is too broke or old, I'll just make a new one" for items that just need some patching. Your hard work is appreciated
Oh my God!! My husband inherited an ax just like this from his grandfather. . I really liked the axe, the heir not so much! lol Awesome job with this one!!
What a beautiful restoration. Congratulations. It was magnificent. Chinese Swordfish Brand, probably produced in the 50's or 60's. Copy, replica or just reproduction of the famous Bridgeport Tomahawk Nº99, produced and patented since the 20's. Widespread worldwide after IIWW. Greetings from the south of Brazil. Dambros!
I love how you used the old wood for the handle, smart idea. I responded to this 2 months later. And I wish you could've shown the axe part of the tool
I have one of these multi-tools I keep with my scuba diving equipment. An ive used every different part diving too! Mine came with heavy plastic slip on sheath for diving!
Gut gemacht!
Love the restorations. FYI that's actually an old style roofing hammer. The blade is meant for splitting wooden shake style shingles. My father had one just like it.
Que belíssima restauração. Parabéns. Ficou magnífica. Chinesa Swordfish Brand, provavelmente produzida na década de 50 ou 60. Oh, a crate hammer… yah these were used all the time before pallets were really a thing.. when everything that got shipped had to be nailed into its own wooden box… nice job.. 📦☺️👍
Excellent! I have a feeling that the missing wood on the handle, still drives you crazy... Ànd the putty, ❤😢❤just pisses you off...😅❤😊 Much Love and Appreciation!!! Appreciation
Very enjoyable video. Two thoughts. As far as the new rivets. Try placing the ball end of a ball peen hammer on top of the rivet and hitting it with another hammer. Also why did you make the hammer rounded instead of ground flat. Won't that cause the hammer to slide off the nail when struck.
Wow, that was great! You have inspired me to restore my grandfather's old (very old and rusty) hatchet head, and make a new handle for it. Thanks!
The turtle gets me every time 😂
Once again your work was AMAZING!!! Very Nice Job on this piece! I Really Like "Mr. Turtle!"
