    I have a Snapper Yard Curser 42" law mower. I had been taking it to a local lawn mower show from where I bought it years ago.
    This lawn mower's claim that you can tilt it up on it's back to change the blades and grease it.
    You need to be a football linebacker to get this thing tilted up so what I did it put a chain hoist around a telephone pole in my back
    yard, hoot the chain to the front bumper of the lawn mower and wrench it up.
    Normally the bolt on each blade is kind of hard to remove. I used my socket wrench to remove the bolt but no luck. I even tried my
    Ryobi full size 18v drill to see if it would work but no luck.
    I went to plan "B" and got my Ryobi 18v grinder out and used the grinding wheel to sharpen the blades while they were still on
    the mower.
    I guess the people at the lawn mower shot used an impact wrench to put the bolts on.
    I figured if I rented a motorcycle trailer to take it over there and back and have them service it it would probably cost about $150 or
    more. If I buy the Ryobi impact tool and it worked I would save money. I wouldn't have any use other for this tool.
    I just wish those guys didn't tighten the bolts so tight.

      They probably used an air impact wrench with its highest setting.

      @@WhipCityWrencher Are the blade bolts made "right to tight and Left to loosen"?
      Someone said they may be left hand bolts.

    Would you say set it to number 1 when sitting the lug nuts in place when puting the wheels back in so as not to over torque it?

    • @WhipCityWrencher
      @WhipCityWrencher  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So that you don't cross-thread them, I would first start the lug nuts a few turns by hand, then use the number 2 setting with the impact wrench to snug them up, then torque to the correct foot lbs with a torque wrench. Thanks for watching!👍🙌😊
