- Dodge has created a Muscle Car SUV with the Durango SRT. Under the hood is a 392ci 6.4L V8 that is pumping out 485HP, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and had AWD. It's exterior has the bold lines you would expect to see on a Dodge product that bears the SRT bade. On the inside everything is well laid out and you do have 3-row capability. Is the 2020 Dodge Durango SRT a 3-row Muscle Car SUV?

Not everyone wants a sunroof though, that's why it's a option. And it's the case for vehicles that are far more expensive than 65k

I rented the Dodge Durango to drive from Toronto to south of Pittsburg and back. Fully loaded with the sun roof! We moved my son out of university dorm no problem, so much room! Loud sound system. FLEW down the highway and everyone moved out of the way quickly! bad ass

Drove and SRT from Dallas to Atlanta was one of the best feelings with it's all wheel drive under the rain and sun. No sleeping and great mpg. Was outstanding.

I would love to have an SUV like the Durango, lots of functionality and the exhaust and engine has a nice startup to it. Never seen an SUV that is powered up.

475 hp and 470 tq. But for this 5500 lb block of metal, i think it needs the 525 hp 505 tq version of the 392 (392 hemi crate) in rwd

Hey Joe, that smile was from ear to ear man lol. I'm happy you did a review on the 392 Durango. Great trucks, I kinda wish Dodge would do a Hellcat Durango. There is an option for a Sunroof but no on the panoroof because of the rear AC controls. It's a possibility in the re-desighn in a few years. Convince your wife to get one, besides the charger its the ultimate grocery getter.

Great video! Would like to add a 10th “Zonk”, reliability. Own a 2016 Durango R/T with 88000 miles. At or around 50000 miles the vehicle required replacement of parts that typically fail around the 85000-95000 mile mark. Recommendation, buyers need to heavily consider extended warranties when purchasing this vehicle.

This thing is a beast. Keep up the great work. As for fuel mileage, yes, a big honking vehicle with a big honking v8 making big honking horsepower won't be a fuel miser. For comparison, the 2020 Lexus GX 460 does 15/19 with 301 horsepower 4.6 v8, and the Toyota sequoia does 13/17 with a 5.7 v8 making 381 horsepower, as does the Land Cruiser. The old Lexus GX 470 made 265 horsepower with 4.7 liters, and managed 14/18. So for what it is, the Durango isn't as horrible on gas as it could be, though anybody purchasing something like this wouldn't really care about that all that much.

Great video! I owned a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a V6 and upgraded to a 2018 Dodge Durango SRT and love it. Has more cargo space for my visits to Home Depot and the power to tow my boat with no problem.
Just traded my 2018 Dodge Durango SRT Limited Mopar 18. Only made 250(200 for the US & 50 for Canada) Lost $30K on the trade. Enjoyed it. handled well lots of of power(475HP) but they don't hold their value. None of the Dodges do. Didn't lose as much on my Hellcat thought when I traded it,
BTW; Other than the color and the Mopar 18 logo looks exactly the same. No Changes! The Mopar 18 had the 3rd row seat delete. Sticker was $88K got it for $82K you can buy a new 2018 (for a big discount, in the $50's). Yes some dealers still have them. DON'T BUY!!!

zonking third row seating in all SUV's , if someone needs to drive around 9 people . . . buy a fricking VAN (laugh out loud) but I dig the power, & the triple zone climate control layout. a good option automakers should consider is cut the 3rd row out & just make the 2nd row super comfortable with forward/back & recline for lots of extra room? GREAT REPORT, I dig it when you have fun during a test drive.

Dodge should redesign this using the body of the current generation Dodge Ram. Would most likely have a bigger second row and it'd be nice to get that huge infotainment screen.

I've owned one of these and it got 8 mpg because I would not keep from flooring it and hearing that exhaust, so now I have a Wrangler 😎I did love the vehicle though.

I recently found out that I'm having another kid, so I looked into these Durangos. It's a 100% hell NO! from me.. I own a 2019 Charger 392 scatpack. I absolutely love my car. So looking into a family SUV like this was a no brainier. But these 392 and even the hellcat versions of these Durangos are outrageously over priced. How do I know? A base price V6 charger is $29,995. A base price Charger 392 scatpack runs $39,995. That's a 10k difference for what amounts to a bigger motor, bigger breaks, upgraded suspension and maybe a better transmission?. That's it, 10k seems like a reasonable price for what you get. Now do the same for a base V6 Durango...it will run you $30,795. Now let's take a look at the base price of a 392 Durango. It's gonna set you back $62,995 WHAT!!!???
THATS OVER A $32k difference! Dodge are you insane?!?! I can buy two V6 Durangos for the price of one 329 🤣. And what do you get for that extra 32k? Nothing more than what a base Charger scatpack gives you, ohh wait no, you get leather and AWD 😂 yeah that sounds perfectly reasonable. Dodge I love you, but you've gone insane and I can't believe anyone would shell out 62k for a Durango that essentially looks the same as a base v6. No thank you, I'll stick to my Charger until I have a 3rd kid.
