Well don’t eat too much from now on, you’re seat is telling you to slow down on those carbohydrates, 😂😂😂, t hi ink about it even the seat itself give up just for you to realize this 😂😂😂,
I have a 2011 malibu and there are no screws that hold on the trim. When I look under seat I can see that there is a metal u-shaped clip holding it on. I have tried pulling on it but I'm afraid it's going to break. Is there a trick to these clips? Need to replace switch.
OK I get what you’re saying but what’s at the end of the drill? Did you have to use a bit? You just said drill I really need to know because only one side of my seat is going back.
what I did was - I removed the cables that attach to the motor of the seat and used the drill motor to spin them instead of the actual burnt out motor on the seat track. I did not use a bit. the part was already in the seat all i did was remove the cable from the motor and put the end from the motor into the drill. and spin. repeat this process with both sides so you can move the seat evenly.
What about if the seat moves back snd forth, but it is the motor that controls the tilt angle of the back of the seat? I can recline the back of the seat. I just can't move it back up again. Would this work on that function too?
Bruh I thought I was gonna learn how to fix my chair 😂😂
sorrry lol
I like the part where he showed how to remove the motor
How do you remove the motor?
I appreciate your detail my guy ! You really came thru 🙏
I got the right side, no problem. I’m having trouble getting my drill up under the seat to do the left side. Any suggestions?
How do you manually move the seat up or down????? My seat is way too high!!!

Same!
What year Malibu is this your working on
Cool thanks
How do you remove motor and detach cables?
Remove the seat and remove from underneath
You can pull the wire really hard and it will come off. Only do that if it’s damaged because it’s bolted and built into the track
All seat aren't that easily accessible, besides, where's the HOW TO set up part of the video???
Is there a way to move it if the rod for the seat is missing
What bit are you using on the drill? That would be a huge help
Looks like he's using the gear off the motor
It looks like it says in the video description that it’s an Allen wrench attachment?
He’s got the drill tightened on the pin that moves the seat
Can I use a Allen key
What about recline? Mine is stuck alway the way down
I got a shitty Malibu 😭😭😭
Is it necessary to remove motor 🤔
Would also like to know
