Yes sorry , might have to check one of the fuses in the fuse box. I forget which number it is, but in the fuse box, it has a diagram and find the seat that may be an issue

Was about to buy a whole switch piece for like $70 then i saw your video popped it out broke some plastic clips but i literally re arranged the buttons put it back together and somehow that shit works now thank you 🙏
@3:48 do you see the gray plastic part with the black button in the middle . It’s below my thumb . Pull the gray part down and push black button and pull it away from the controller

Lol don’t worry . Just becareful not to touch any metal tools up against any expose wires . No need to disconnect the car battery . The power is coming from the bottom of the switch. You can unplug it, but I suggest just keep it plugged in, so you can see which buttons are Trippin. Keep going !

Did you guys have to remove the battery first? I tried this and when I was removing the cover for the switches it sparked how I’m scared as hell

My seat is fine the problem is just the seat only goes halfway up and then stops suddenly and it can go back down fine

The head of the screw is has a hexagonal 6 sided shape . The drill tip should look the same
I ran into this too, their technical name is a Torx Bit. They come in sizes like T25, T30, T35, etc. My 2013 Malibu was a T40 bit.
