    Taper mounts are simply the best. They literally lock down when they warm up.

    Ordering a Recce 5 next week! Just bought the 2.75" flash hider 2 days ago for my 13.9 build!

    Moving to Lake Mills in march had no idea I’d be right down the road from you guys . As soon as I can get my Wisconsin ID I’ll be getting at least 1 suppressor immediately from you guys . Believe my mk1 has the tac comp taper mount .

    Is it necessary to put anticize on the muzzle device before torcking?

    When the heck are you gonna have the 2.75 taper mount flash hiders in stock? I have been sitting on my 13.9 build for months!!

    My suppressor is totally stuck on my flash hider; so much so, that when I tried to remove the suppressor from the flash hider, the whole thing came off of the barrel. Which wrench do I need to interface with the pinholes in the back of the flash hider? Thanks!

      Your muzzle device has slots machined into the back end for when/if this happens. Use the small flat edge of your supplied wrench to twist the flash hider loose from the suppressor. Make sure you torque your muzzle device to it's specified ft/lbs per the manual of your suppressor when you rethread it back onto the barrel.

    I’m thinking about doing a suppressed 300BLK build, a prominent barrel manufacturer said to avoid muzzle brakes with suppressed 300BLK because the brake can rob some recoil/back pressure to cycle subsonic ammunition. Is there any truth to that?

    @GriffinArmamentOfficial - so is the taper mount system of interface pretty solid for higher volume shooting or do we need to check it for looseness regularly? That’s the one thing I get nervous about and am curious if the technology creates a lockup that won’t rattle loose every magazine? Thanks!

      All of our current generation taper mount suppressors include the backward compatible Taper Mount-RI (Rapid Index) interface. This mounting system is a gold standard in the industry, providing very secure attachment and reliable accuracy. By engineering a precision indexing feature into the interface and using fewer machined thread rotations in a more optimal position, this system can be mounted quickly, without fear of loosening!

      I have a Recce 5 with a taper mount and it gets tighter the hotter it gets. I literally can’t unscrew it (with a gloved hand and oven mitt of course) when I’ve shot it. I had to let it cool down to unscrew it.

    I searched your website for the Recce 5k and it didn’t come up? Is it a new can?

    Would be great to offer a selection of what muzzle device we'd like to have with the suppressor out the gate.
    Personally I am not a fan of brakes on my ARs, hunting rifles sure, and the primary purpose of the suppressor is flash mitigation, sound reduction is a thing too, but I would rather chose a flash hider and not have a muzzle break laying about I'll never use and you're factoring in that device as part of the cost of the suppressor, so I'm in turn paying for something i dont want.

    I heard you say the linear comp was the quietest with and without the can by directing sound down range. Which muzzle device has the lowest flash and best sound performance? I have a recce 5 (2 actually)

    • @GriffinArmamentOfficial
      @GriffinArmamentOfficial  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The Linear Comp may have some decibel reduction to the ear, but it is definitely harder on the suppressor due to the pressure being directed towards the blast baffle. In our own suppressor testing, we have found very little difference in terms of sound and flash reduction amongst our line of muzzle devices. That being said, certain devices will assist in certain categories (i.e. flash hiders will hide flash better than a compensator, suppressed or not).
      If you're strictly running suppressed and looking for something that assists in both sound and flash reduction, the Paladin Brake is one of the better options. It directs gas away from the baffles, reducing back pressure and dropping decibels at the ear while prolonging your suppressors lifespan. The Recce 5 already does a fantastic job at flash suppression, but if you want something to help a little bit more in that regard, the Flash Comp would be something worth trying on your second Recce!

      @@GriffinArmamentOfficial Awesome, thank you for taking the time to respond. I am running exclusively suppressed on a 10.5” with the standard brake you guys send with the recce 5 cans.
      The two most important things when suppression AR’s especially 10.5” ones is the amount of sound suppression and the amount of flash (as I have it as my IR/NVG setup). I shot the gun with the recce 5 on Wednesday in near pitch black conditions and there was a tiny little 1-2 inch candle stick of flash which was impressive especially compared to the RC3 non closed tine stuff recently. 😂 for those 2 concerns (flash suppression and sound suppression) are you still recommending the paladin for this? Especially given the recce is living on a 10.5?

      @@GriffinArmamentOfficial I was also eyeing the tactical compensator seeing that it acts as a sacrificial baffle. I wasn’t sure how it would do with decreasing flash especially, but how also effects sound too since it is a comp

    Do i need a mounting device for the explorr gen 2 when using a "taper mount tactical compensator?"
    I plan on getting the explorr utility mount

    • @GriffinArmamentOfficial
      @GriffinArmamentOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      You would need the Plan-A L or Plan-A XL Hub Adapter for the Explorr Utility Mount when using a Taper Mount Tactical Compensator.
