Thank you Jordan for another fascinating look at old Hollywood. Buster was a genius, and his films are so watchable, even today. His life was hard in many ways, and it is great to see him being celebrated by you. You would think Hollywood folks could find a few dollars to show respect to this pioneer of comedy, and place a proper plaque to remember Buster. Keep up the good work, I think you're great.

I had already seen this vlog when I first started watching you, but enjoyed it again knowing that the city had a new plaque installed in the correct corner and had a nice ceremony honoring Buster's contributions. Still an informative vlog!

Buster Keaton was great! Thanks for this vlog. I didn't know he had so many hard times in his life.
There's a big box set of his movies that I would love to have. I can remember him being in an episode of the Twilight Zone, he was funny in that.

Thank you for the Buster vlog! Even if they put a new plaque I hope they keep the old one because he was still alive when the plaque was placed. I won't get into Natalie, but it was all her fault. I am grateful for Eleanor. She was the best girl that ever happened to him. Funny, how his old studio was off Eleanor Street. Always imitated, never duplicated..Buster Keaton!

Great stuff as usual, Jordan. A great tribute to BK. BK was in a Twilight Zone episode - because they wanted to pay tribute to him - "Once Upon A Time," and it was made in Silent Film style, including title cards, and they had him doing some of his classic gags.

Buster Keaton was a comedic genius. Chaplin and Keaton are the two greatest comedians and the two greatest actors of early Hollywood. Both of them are legends. And the two greatest actors of the 1920's are Swanson and Valentino. Both of them are legends as well.

I read a biography of Keaton about ten years ago. One thing that struck with me is early in his career with Roscoe and Al St. John, the guys, who were basically stunt men, played a joke on other actors in the studio cafeteria which was located on an upper floor. One of them (I think St. John) began crying in despair and talking about how his life was over and then dove out the window to everyone's horror. He was, of course, fine and the comedians had all conspired together to pull off the joke. It has been a long time since I read the book, so I may be wrong on details, but it certainly made an impression. I can't verify the story at all and am starting to think I'm crazy. Anyway, Keaton remains an absolute favorite of mine. Also, given your love of dogs, Fatty had one of the first dog actors, his pit bull Luke, who could climb ladders and was in a lot of his movies. He would make a great vlog. I think Al St. John's contribution is overlooked as well.

As a late poster to this great vlog, an interesting side note is probably his last project on the Twilight Zone. (Once Upon a Time ) playing Woodrow Mulligan, a time traveler who learns to appreciate life. lHe had just met his young bride around this period and died shortly thereafter. Rod Serling apparently wrote the episode to honor Keaton .
