It’s hard to explain the feeling I get seeing you and are brothers and sisters sharing joy and care together, we truly are all from the same tree, sea and what we believe to be ! ..big LOVE from Éire to Charles and his father and each ye ❤
Only 1:00 in and Az is tackling a wild pig! Interesting to see these people and their way of life. Looked like that day was quite an adventure! Bacon flavored fish? Yes please! 🥓
Cooking over an open fire and eating with your hands, doesn't get better than that. Would very much appreciate longer underwater footage if possible, just love it.
Lovel all the stuff you've done it warms my heart i suffer from anxiety n depression but this warms my heart and only time im truly happy is fishing in the hot summer sun catching trout with the birds singing it's navona..
I’m really amazed at the distance of the shots!!! Very impressive!!! I wasn’t able to master it yet!, I feel comfortable taking close range shots but always miss… thanks for these videos, really entertaining!!! And educational!
Enjoyed this vlog so much!! So many different species of fish and the meal looked so very tasty. Thank you so very much for taking us along to fantasize what it would be like!! x😺
Love this thank you's .. A beautiful show of respect and blessed with that Maori Sea Perch 💛 As a Maori living in Aotearoa it sorta cracks me up that fish is called that when I have never known that fish to be here where we spearfish.
@@BacktoBasics you rock brother. Your videos take me back to my time working with mob in the Kimberly and the Pilbara. My dad fished the Abrolhos Is . He did all the diving and underwater blasting up at port Hedland when they dredged the harbour in the 60s. My job as a 5- 7 year old was to collect all the fish we caught with the expanding bait in the dinghy after the blast and to keep fuel in the hooker engine while dad was down in the murk. Different times compared to now. Harry Butler and Mal Douglas always dropped in for a yarn and boat repairs.
Howdy from Texas! What a beautiful lesson in etiquette and respect. How did you know the local custom, and know which village has jurisdiction over which reefs? Give our regards to Nikki. She’s an impressive spear fisher, based on what we have noticed in other episodes. Be careful out there, brother.
Love the interaction with the local village, I traveled a lot myself and the Golden Rule always works wherever you go. BTW If you like spear fishing videos, you might want to check out the video game Dive The Diver on PC.
I pray whoever eyes catch this God give you the strength you need to overcome everything battle your facing may the dark thoughts and overthinking,my be peace and calmness fill in your life🇧🇸❤️

It's hard for modern society to realize that the majority of people on the planet live a simple village life off the land. We often forget that material things aren't what really makes you happy in life.
I was born here in Vanuatu, wild pig are not grey and white, they are black and cant catch them easily like that. Anyway, thank you for promoting Vanuatu
Do you think the killing of animals, to eat was said to be an offering to the Gods, to appease the chieldren! ? "I won't eat little Poofy Poo". Religion came around AFTER hunter-gatherers settled and began to farm. 🤔
Your respect for the locals and their warm embrace combined with your always high-quality filming makes this my favorite episode yet!
Pffft

As a Maori living in Aotearoa it sorta cracks me up that fish is called that when I have never known that fish to be here where we spearfish.
Many fish on the barrier reef are called Māori because of the line on the face resembling Māori tatoos
Absolutely found another gear Az with the pace catching that pig 😂

Im not known for my sprinting skills, but I wasn't gonna get laughed at by the crew haha

Hey bro

I’ve handled several wild pigs and that little guy is the quietest I’ve ever seen.???

Anyway, thank you for promoting Vanuatu
This ain't a wild pig brother.
Sure was mate, not all are full black
So they actually own the ocean and fish in it? Seems crazy to me but its no different than governments owning and regulating where i live i guess.
They do mate, reef around their land is also theirs. As that's apart of the recourses they use to survive.
💞💚💘💗🫶🏻💜🩷💕🤎💛💟💓👌💖🤍❣️🩶🖤👋🥰👍💝😍🧡🩵💙❤️❤️🔥😘🤗
Pig
Not a fan of spear fishing
Each to their own mate. I love it! Clearly

Why not?
Do you think the killing of animals, to eat was said to be an offering to the Gods, to appease the chieldren! ? "I won't eat little Poofy Poo". Religion came around AFTER hunter-gatherers settled and began to farm. 🤔
Damn dude, you keep taking horrible shots on those fish and ruining the filets... SMH. Take better shots!
Beautiful place
