Lads, I'm off to Kwakea Island Oct 6, and I have you 2 to thank. I've never free dove, or spearfished, but that's about to change! Great stuff, keep it up!
Would be great to hear more about the local partners (guides, locals, businesses etc) that made this possible, this also would be a great platform to hear if you learned about West Papua’s indigenous population and their fight for independence.
Thanks for sharing this!! Your clips just get better and better. Images, drone footage, mateship, optimisation. So uplifting and wonderful. Thanks again men.
Hi A i am still at K Beach and the ocean has been glass the last few days. Now i know why you weren't fishing. Great video good to see the team together again thanks for your hard work guys. .Cheers Stew

9:08 Mangrove worm? That’s a Telescope snail. “Telescopium telescopium, commonly known as the telescope snail, is a species of snail in the horn snail family Potamididae found in mangrove habitats in the Indo-Pacific. They are large snails that can grow up to 8 to 10 cm in length and are easily recognizable by their cone-shaped shell. Telescope snails are edible.”
West Papua is a victim of OUR governments and ongoing illegal conduct of UN employees. On 21st September 1962 our governments voted (General Assembly res.1752) to give the new UN Secretary General U Thant permission to invade West Papua and appoint Indonesia as the current administrator. Our governments were using article 85 part 1 of the UN Charter to authorise this; article 85 part 2 requires that the Secretary General tell the UN Trusteeship Council about the trusteeship agreement ('New York Agreement') so that the Council can then begin its article 87 & 88 duties making yearly UN reports to protect & promote independence of the colony (West Papua). In violation of the UN Charter, U Thant never told the Trusteeship Council; and nor have any of the subsequent Secretary Generals. IF UN employees were honest, they would insist on revealing General Assembly resolution 1752 invasion & subjugation of West Papua to the UN Trusteeship Council to whom they should have reported it in 1962.
If not for sukarno the whole of west papua would be in reservations speaking dutch just like the aboriginals in Australia. Its a pity yall never developed a brain to realize this much. Groetjes uit Holland
Papua, Amazon, the Congo, Antarctica, and Siberia are maybe the last frontiers in the 21st century. - after another hundred years you'll see villages and farms..
its a good idea, if the money you spent there are going to the local west papuan people.\ and not to their occupier, indonesia. because its unfair that you paying the occupier for enjoying the victim's land. its not right morally from any way you see it.
I am writing to bring to your attention the grave human rights situation in West Papua, Indonesia. For decades, the Indonesian government has committed numerous crimes against the indigenous population, including: - Extrajudicial killings: Estimates suggest over 500,000 West Papuans have been killed since Indonesia's annexation in 1963. - Torture: Systematic torture has been documented, including beatings, burnings, and sexual abuse. - Forced displacement: Thousands of West Papuans have been forcibly displaced from their ancestral lands to make way for mining, logging, and agricultural projects. - Cultural suppression: The Indonesian government has suppressed West Papuan culture, including banning traditional dress and restricting the use of the West Papuan language. These crimes have been extensively documented by reputable organizations, including Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and the International Coalition for Papua. I urge you to take immediate action to address these atrocities and support the West Papuan people's right to self-determination.
