    you can turn auto block off in controls Nice vid i disagree that it needs a change if they counter just counter back or vanish quick recover all these work well (not sure about the vanish). in a game like this i think it needed because if full power jiren in sparking get behind you he can get a 50 hit combo (key word can) and and a lot of characters will not survive that. This just my opinion not meant to start any arguments.

      @@runichaze3272 absolutely no problem with having an opinion! My frustration in this video honestly comes from me absolutely loving and see the huge potential for this game!
      I see exactly what you mean for sure, super counter does serve a purpose for helping players escape situations that’d essentially kill them from full health, but because of the way it works, it also is used in sooo many other ways as well. That, and all the other issues, cause soooo many matches to go to timeout and that sucks!
      I think the whole defensive system in this game needs a complete redesign. Make super counter cost Ki, make vanish cost more Ki or make the vanishes faster and harder to perform and I think perception is okay though to be fair.

    Stuff like this literally breaks the golden rule of video games, which is that u shouldn’t be punished for doing the right thing, and super counter literally does that. Imo it’s why arena fighters aren’t given the same respect as traditional fighters

      100%. We literally spoke about this a few streams ago about not being punished for hitting an opponent as well 😭😭😭😂😂
      Fingers crossed some positive changes happen in the near future, as I genuinely think there’s something great here with this game!

      Expect you aren't doing the right thing. Super counters can be countered by another super counter which then turns into a battle of who is better at frame perfect inputs.
      Or you vanish and ate up another attack.

      @jesuslover34 that doesn’t really matter though, as the super counter itself is way too easy to perform and then every single time it happens, it starts a vanish war, which as you get better, will last longer the more Ki you have because you won’t mess it up.
      This just leads to timeouts on timeouts on timeouts. Anyone I watch is experiencing the same thing, amongst various other issues 🫠 super counter being the worst in my opinion.

      Nobody is trying to super counter a super counter or during a vanish war, or the absolute vast majority of players aren’t, because vanishing is far easier, so when a super counter happens, the super counter gets vanished and the vanish war begins.
      That will 100% kill this game. You can’t hit anyone without the threat of super counter, and the tech for performing it requires next to no skill, as there’s no punishment for attempting it where it would actually make sense to attempt it, and what I mean by “makes sense” is using it when you’ve made a mistake and been hit hoping that it’ll cheese you out of the other players offense.
      Players will get sick of this 100%. I already am tbf and it’s been less than a week 🫠😂😂

    Whats funny is most fgc games have something we all hate because it is noninteractive/has no counter play. This is the opposite end lol.

      Dragon Ball Sparking Zero’s approach to counterplay is ETERNAL COUNTERPLAY 😭
      It’s the ultimate player agency, you can NEVER not counter the counter which countered the counter which countered… 😭😭
      Man I hope they give the defensive system a rework😂

    Yeah Super Counters happen way too often in gameplay and really ruins it for me. I don't like it at all. It's not that I don't know how to use them, I actually do. I think it interupts gameplay too much and kills the game for me.

      100% agree.
      I feel like I wanna be careful calling for nerfs and changes for certain things, as I don’t want to change so much that the game doesn’t feel like a Tenkaichi game anymore, but super counter is absolutely a fun killer.
      So much so that I don’t think I’m actually going to play again until it’s changed, as it’s ruining how much I actually like the game 🫠😂
