Thank you for the video about our beloved Auburn, CA. We truly have a unique town. You hit the nail on the head that it is not walkable. We're just so diverse in our landscape, with suburban neighborhoods, large properties and estates, farm and livestock as well as our coveted vintage and historic properties and shops in Old Town. It is an incredible area to live, but only if one understands the curious dynamic. We have high, middle and low income residents, not to mention a growing concern with traffic from Interstate 80 travelers, congestion on HWY 49, Bell Rd and even the cut-thru that is Luther Road. Hopefully folks do their homework when considering it as a landing spot.

Yeah, more restaurants would be nice! We honestly drive up to Auburn just for Taco Tree

Thank goodness there aren't either of those in Auburn! Lifetime residents support local and are willing to drive for malls and restaurants. Rocklin/Roseville and Folsom aren't far and we head there for the big town feel, grateful to the gods when we get back home to our sleepy town.

If you want to live in a small town, conservative, safe, low crime neighborhood, Auburn is definitely a great choice. If you a left leaning, and supports the BLM and LGBTQ idealogy, I can tell you, this is not the town for you. I can also tell you the people here are very friendly and they look out for one another. These are some of the things no realtors will tell you. If you are from the Bay, EG would suit you better, more diversity if you will.
