I love how you explain things! I have been looking into this program for my son who is having trouble learning to read. I am more confident in ordering this for us now. Thank you so much! 😍

I watched your Abeka K5 review also. Have you used Abeka's phonics enough to compare it to AAR? Thanks for the flip throughs!

Hey there! Yes! I love A Beka phonics. I used that program with all 3 of my boys. I used A Beka for k5 and 1st. I introduced AAR to my oldest when he was in 2nd. I honestly love both programs. I didn't notice and troubles when using the two but rather felt that it helped them develop in different ways as readers! Once they get the phonics down, I ditched the AAR lesson plan book and just used the readers. I hope this answers your question a little more in depth! I cannot say which I would prefer...but I sure do love them both! I would recommend either/or!

Hey!! I have a quick question I’m new to homeschooling and am pulling my 1st grader and preschooler out of school! I’ve been considering abeka acadaamy for them because of you reviews and others that love it! Especially for a new homeschooling it takes the pressure of what to teach them and pulling together a complete education for them and wondering if it’s enough! Now that I see all about reading I’m really interested in it! Do you use it with abeka? How did you do it ?

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by! First of all, congratulations! I am so excited for you!!! So, in regards to your questions, yes. We used AAR and A Beka together! I didn't have my boys use the A Beka readers that came with the curriculum. We just used AAR as our readers. My boys all LOVED AAR! My boys didn't have any issue using the two in terms of phonetics, etc. They cruised right through the readers. I know that for some kids this might now work based on how they learn but for all three of my boys, we thoroughly enjoyed A Beka mixed with AAR! The readers are so much fun!!! Just to mention... with A Beka... I didn't stick to the teacher's guide either. I tried that with my oldest when he was a first grader and there were so many tears! It was our first year homeschooling and I was trying too hard to make it "public school" at home. Just take it easy mama... find your balance, your own system and routine that works for YOU!! I am so excited for you!!!

Hey girly! Love you videos! We’re just starting off with homeschooling and am so
Confused! I have 3 kiddos my eldest is in 1st grade and just turned 7. And my 4 year old who will be 5 in august and a 2 year onld I’m torn between all about ready (which looks like a stand alone just reading program) or going with a complete language arts program like TGaTb or masterbooks. What do you recomend? Did you do alll about treading and then separate things for like spelling, and grammar and laugh age artsc

Hey sweet mama! How awesome to just be starting put on your homeschooling journey! 🤗 First...breathe! You got this! I loved All About Reading, for sure! It really depends on which curriculum you choose and how things flow in your home! I loved having AAR for the read alouds, alone! They are so fun! We used A Bkea for the language/phonics side of things. Im not super familiar with TG&B so I don't have any real advice there! I'm sorry! Just research and follow where you're heart is leading you! Breathe...your kiddos are so young still! Embrace that! 🤗💜 I do still use and love Master Books LLFLE and also, LOVE the Gather Rounf Homeschool currkculum! It's amazing for multiple kiddos! 🤗💜 Hope this helps, sweet mama! It really just depends on where your kiddos are at and what you are wanting your homeschool to look like! It is totally different for everyone! I wish you all the best and feel free to reach out if I can help any further!

I do like the complete language program, I must say. I loved AAR as read alouds! Again...that's what worked in our home and each home is different! 🤗

I’m using level 1 with my kindergartener but she is having a hard time with the word cards. She gets discouraged seeing those word cards piling up. She gets the phonograms but can’t seem to move the word cards into the “mastered” section. I’m almost at the point of just using the readers for practice but I know that totally defeats the purpose of the program :/
