I used “teach your child to read in 100 easy lessons” it was very cheap and effective, but it was dry. I’m getting ready to teach child number 2 to read later this year. I think we will go for this. Great video. Thank you!

Hi, thank you so much for your help as English is my second language, I’ve been nervous thinking how I am going to teach it. I’ve seen you unboxed the TGAB do you do this two curriculum combine or how do you mix them or do one first and than the other one later?
From your personal opinion do you think it’s better then the good and the beautiful? And why sorry I just want to make sure on my thoughts before making a decision this year
This was a great review!!! I know this video is old but maybe you’ll see this. My daughter is in kindergarten and we do not currently homeschool. They follow a phonics program at her school but I’ve noticed that she is struggling when practicing on books she brings home. Would this program be too easy if she’s already learned some of these beginning lessons? I was thinking that we could work through the program this summer to make sure any gaps are filled but I don’t want her to be bored if we are starting “over”. I also don’t want to skip to level 2 and have her be discouraged.
Every homeschool mom and co op teachers have told me try to start over and with phonics depending on what they lack in , mine is 8yo and her struggle is blending sounds
Do you recommend level 1 for a kindergartner? She is very interested in learning to read but doesn’t yet know all her sounds. Or should I start her with the pre-reader level?
