Matt you don’t know me. But you were one of the first flight sim TH-camrs I watched. You served as a great learning aid for my flight simming, which then has transitioned into an actual pursuit of an aviation career. Thank you so much for all you have done for the community. You couldn`t have said it better. He learned me the pmdg 737, and made me understand the basics of flying the medium jets. Thanks to Matt, I have no problem learning the other jets. Rest in peace❤

I was going to return here the other day, as despite how ridiculous this situation seems, it appears to be exactly how an ATR crashed recently. Forgot about it, and now came back to this video for a very different reason. Rest in Peace, and fly high Matt; you will be dearly missed.
As a VATSIM newbie, this has actually hugely calmed my nerves about flying on VATSIM. Seeing that it can sometimes become just as chaotic and silly as the default FSX multiplayer is really comforting!! I guess everyone messes up from time to time :)

This is hilarious, one minute an MD-11 crashes right next to you guys, and in the next second an A320 goes right through the cockpit. Guys, you don't need a weather radar, just switch on the TCAS, today it's planes raining and planes failing. Anyway great video, I really enjoyed

The day VATSIM stood still. Every problem Gatwick have, as if they don't have enough, happened there in 8 minutes. If you look at the last time you looked at the MD11 you can see it dropping, poor gatwick.
freakin dash-8 with its slippery levers, they go anywhere but where you want them to. The thing i liked the most about this video is how calm the PIC was flying this plane down to its doom, lol

The investigators concluded that the pilots had lost iq points multiple times before the crash, and had by that point become mentally retarded. The NTSB recommended that pilots take a retarded test before take off

Next time try going: Throttle Disconnect -> Condition Levers Start/Feather -> Start both engines -> Condition Levers Max until speed recovered

That crash was survivable, I guess.My dad did the exact same thing with an RC airplane by accidentally flicking the throttle cut switch.
