Jasper’s Kitchen: Calabrian Shrimp 🍤

  • This shrimp has us kicking it up a notch! Spicy and flavorful, this dish is a feast for the eyes! 🔥We love it over some tomato risotto or orza, but how would you serve this? Let us know!
    Chef Jasper’s Calabrian Shrimp
    1 lb. Shrimp, shelled and deveined
    28 oz. Italian Tomatoes
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    4-6 garlic cloves, crushed
    1 1/2 teaspoons Calabrian red chili peppers
    8-10 fresh basil leaves
    1/4 cup Chianti
    2 tablespoons butter
    In a large salt, tape pan, heat olive oil. Sauté shrimp for just a few minutes on each side. Add garlic, but do not burn. Sprinkle with red peppers. Reduce pan with Chianti.
    Crush tomatoes and drain liquid, add to pan and cook for about 10 to 12 minutes.
    Add fresh basil and butter and bring everything together. Serve immediately.
