I love watching smaller channels like yours. They seem more realistic compared to the big channels. Ive been telling people for at least a year now to sub to you, not sure how many actually do.

Thanks, that is great to hear. Not here to own the world but to share what I enjoy doing on a small budget.

That's an awesome build! I want to build something similar to tow 4 atvs behind my motorhome. Thanks for posting this

Ive been searching for a pair of trailer straight axles on airbags for a 7x16 narrow track overland toyhauler project.. Washboard rough mountain roads etc..
I like what you've done except what you built operates sort of like a three wheeler swing arm.. Because you don't have any independent travel when hitting a low speed pot hole with one side.. Or do the bushings allow enough movement for that? Are you aware of any other commercial kits available, and do you have links to the parts you used? Any suggestions on my project, like maybe use half a single large truck leaf spring as the arm so it can twist without bushings and act like a sway bar? Thanks

Could swap out the axle side to the johny joint style instead of bushings and get more articulation - but for every step towards articulation you lose antisway, just like offroad rigs.

I have a question for you. I see that that you have used pipe and panhard end fittings to create a panhard to stabilize the side to side position of the axles. I see you then used the same fittings to connect the axle to the trailing arms thereby stabilizing the fore and aft position.
You don't mention it but I assume that the air bags are what stops the axle from rolling too much when the brakes are applied. Yes I think this is eyebleedingy obvious but wanted to ask in case I was wrong..
I have 22ft 10k lb aluminum car hauler I am going to be converting to air ride. Yours looks to be the simplest conversion.

The axle roll is stopped by the bracket that attaches to the trailing arm - the trailing arm doesn't have a single link point, there is 2 one in front and one behind the axle

@@Drivewaybuilt I found th-cam.com/video/NaPLS418TyI/w-d-xo.html which shows exactly how you fabricated it. Good work. I like your design where you used panhards for the trailing arm connection to the trailer. Should give you extra flexibility to get more practical lift on the trailer depending on how you need to load it and drive it.
      Thanks a lot!
