As a normal person you will never get another chance to win £250,000 at 50/50 odds without putting your financial stability at risk. Fair play for having the bottle to do it; cracking TH-cam recommendation.
But she only had to risk £17,500 to get a 50-50 chance of winning £250,000. Which is fantastically generous odds. You'd be a fool not to take those odds. I appreciate that £17,500 might have been a lot of money to her that she didn't want to lose. But she would have been silly not to take the gamble. Amazing to think she somehow never chose the 1p. If she had chosen 1p box in that final round the banker's gamble would never have been in play. Not getting rid of the lowest price ended up giving her the biggest prize.
Noel Edmonds was a world class operator. Even though the headline already told me she was going to win, I watched that final box opening from behind the sofa.
She had an even money chance. 'Heads' worth 250,000 'Tails' loss of 17,000. No guts needed. Just common sense. She came with nothing. This show was completely ruined when they started introducing gimmicks like this. What about all the contestants before her who 'went to early' who were not given a second chance at the big prize ?
I was praying she would not swap as I am sure The Banker or SOMEONE knew what was in her box ( someone put it there after all. lol ) and it was obviously a GIVEAWAY as The Banker ( of all people) would not, normally, be so insane as to offer someone FIFTEEN TIMES MORE if they guess right on a " 50/50 " call. lol
True but a 10 year old would not give you 14 times more on a "50/50" call ! lol The "other people" were in on it as The Banker is the last person to be irresponsible like that :)
Full on hamming at its best. Some of the poses adopted/faces pulled by her, and the other 14 gimps, were pure cringe. Shows like this are when you realise the worst of American culture has invaded our screens
The only game show to ever have me crying at 5 in the afternoon every day! It was the best game show in history and it wouldn’t have been the same without Noel Edmonds 👏🏻👏🏻
Mathematically she was 100% right to have taken the offer. Her 50/50 was basically a 125,000 double or nothing yet she only had to risk 17,500. She was getting over 10/1 for a 50/50.
None of those numbers matter when it comes to either losing everything or taking something. Her small (as you put it) risk of 17k is not small when the alternate is 1 penny

He meant First time Bankers gamble was on 250k
@ it wasn’t the first time on the 250k. It had been there before
@@wwemario12345 not sure then, I can't recall what episodes had similar scenarios. If I could watch back all the old deal or no deals in HD I'd be happy to check but can't find them anywhere
Can't believe she didn't hug noel he looks a bit left out
I know you would have just won £250,000 to change the rest of your life but still, in context, would you have wanted to hug Noel ??
She is now practising for the next Summer Olympics as The 2020 Olympics will introduce masturbation as a "demonstration sport."Male and female masturbation are treated as two separate disciplines, and each requires different skill sets to perfect it. Kevin Stagg is the current male world champion of masturbation and holds all-time world records in Speed Masturbation (2.5 seconds), Distance Masturbation (51ft 8in) and Weight Release (29.3 oz).
These comments wtf
He is utterly insane
100%
Got to give it to Alice. I don't know if I would have done as Bold and Brave as she did. Kudos
£250,000 Well done
Amazing to think she somehow never chose the 1p. If she had chosen 1p box in that final round the banker's gamble would never have been in play. Not getting rid of the lowest price ended up giving her the biggest prize.
2010 later
It’s all gone
🤣🤣🤣
She’s tidy
We know the outcome from the title but can still feel the suspense, so funny to me
Noel Edmonds was a world class operator. Even though the headline already told me she was going to win, I watched that final box opening from behind the sofa.
Good on her she had the guts to gamble
She had an even money chance. 'Heads' worth 250,000 'Tails' loss of 17,000. No guts needed. Just common sense. She came with nothing. This show was completely ruined when they started introducing gimmicks like this. What about all the contestants before her who 'went to early' who were not given a second chance at the big prize ?
But didnt she say deal to 17k? I dont understand this one bit.
@@RedPillSpill101 normally it's do you want the money or not. Bankers gamble is do you want to keep the money you have, or give it back and play on.
NO !!. It's a No Brainer
Loved Noel Edmunds doing this game show so perfect for it but love to know what's he's doing now
It's my lucky number, seems to be hers as well. 😊
I was praying she would not swap as I am sure The Banker or SOMEONE knew what was in her box ( someone put it there after all. lol ) and it was obviously a GIVEAWAY as The Banker ( of all people) would not, normally, be so insane as to offer someone FIFTEEN TIMES MORE if they guess right on a " 50/50 " call. lol
Yeah independent adjudicator seals all the boxes and is the only person who knows where the amounts are
If you believe that then you probably believe that the lottery isn't rigged.
@@RUBBER_BULLET
Why would the lottery be rigged then? And how?
Isleofsky
They normally only do shit gambles like that with other people's money.
True but a 10 year old would not give you 14 times more on a "50/50" call ! lol
The "other people" were in on it as The Banker is the last person to be irresponsible like that :)
Noel should get an Oscar for this
Love this omg 😍only looking up winners as repeats are on challenge
They hammed that up 9 min of thinking about it
Full on hamming at its best. Some of the poses adopted/faces pulled by her, and the other 14 gimps, were pure cringe.
Shows like this are when you realise the worst of American culture has invaded our screens
Asphalt Ricky For sure. And as if that isn't bad enough, we've got Noel Edmunds to top it all off.
Trust TH-cam to hit me with an ad as the last box opens
Same
Imagine if Blooby bounced outa the winning box!?
mr blobby was the banker
Bless u I wish u all the happiness in the world 🎉🎉xx
Beauty and now money - Luck girl and lucky Monmouth
Well that’s not fair- she had Suze Orman in the audience! You GO, girlfriend! 👍😁👍
If I won that much I'd give my friends a tenner each. Lol
All 4 of them ?
4 more than you have dick head
I won 15 grand and gave my best friend 5
What for?
@@shesslucky because that friend helped me when my mum died he looked after me he stayed with me when i was suicidal he saved my life.
@@idrinkmilk282it is though. Matgematically. Emotionnally, it is alot. And that is why this show works.
WOW ! How intense was that? What a brave lady , she deserves it 😁
The Banker made it TOO easy for the contestant to NO DEAL. In my opinion to let her win the Jackpot to attract more viewers. !
Totally. Not even a question. I saw that live. It was a clear giveaway. She didn't have alot to give back
Makes for good tension though!
I would of HUGGED 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗Mr Edmonds so tight ❤he genuinely looked chocked up but so pleased for her 🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
Love how the shows made a comeback, shame they’ve got rid of the quarter of million pounds, and Noel isn’t hosting unfortunately, but it’s Stephen mulhern he’s funny so not all bad
Interesting, thanks for the info!
