I just wish people wouldn't say stupid things like ' I have a bad feeling about my box'. 9 times out of 10 they are wrong and look really silly. If he listened to this woman he would have lost thousands fir his charity.

My whole 50+ years at work out of my 69 years has involved Maths, Gambling and Laws of Probability and the contestants drive me mad as they have to "pretend" they have been offered a good deal even when it is appalling and most have no concept of the Maths involved. For example, when "5" Boxes are reduced to "3" and there are 2 large numbers left, there is only a 10% chance of taking them both out. It is 2 in 5 multiplied by 1 in 4 (2 x 1 is 2 and 4 x 5 is 20 so 2 / 20 is 1 / 10) which is 10% and yet most won't carry on and the Men always bottle it if their Lady is there.
I wish though that charities by law gave more to their cause .more direct to the people that the charity represents less profit for businesses ie charities ❤
An EASY way of demonstrating it is NOT rigged is to put the 22 Boxes out with no contestants THEN choose that day's player and THEN he or she chooses the enclosed box THEY WANT and the other 21 take their places. OBVIOUSLY, The Producers know each day who will be chosen so they can give them the amount they choose based on their observations of them having the 21 unchosen boxes in previous games and they can see who is likely to take a risk or not. One old Lady 10 years ago took £10,000 when she had ALL FIVE of THe "Power 5" left in the last 8 Boxes as she did not want to be "greedy".....Insanity...
I thought he was going to squeeze 90 or a ton from the banker, but trying that gave himself away. I would have said good choice even if the quarter million came up, .

And this is the one place where the British show ran short. That box was worth 126,500 pounds, not no 73,000 crap!
The banker initially played the game like that, but the TV execs realised that it was costing them too much money, so they had to tone it down.
