As I mentioned before, I was in Cebu City a few weeks ago. When I was in that airport I went to a counter to get a Coke Zero. One of the girls was singing. I mean, who other than Filipinos sings at a place where you get drinks? Singing is a part of Filipino culture. I brought up the fact to the girls that many Filipino singers are famous such as Arnel Pineda and Lea Salonga.

Terminal 2 at the Mactan-Cebu Airport is relatively quiet in certain times of day because most or about 70-80% of its international flights arrive and leave during the night, especially from early evening to wee hours in the morning. Most flights operating at night are arriving or departing for South Korea as Koreans make up about 60% of all international visitors to Cebu.

Not for long. The New Manila International Airport in Bulacan will be operational in 2026. Plus the NAIA 1 terminal is starting its rehabilitation and it will up to par with the best airports once completed.

Just left there a week ago. By far the cleanest and most organized airport I have ever been too.. Also the most friendly. I was surprised you were allowed to film as much as you did They are more restrictive here in the states.
The grand opening was in June 2018. Our family was one of the last ones to depart from the original international terminal. I'm happy to have found your channel.

Love how much it seems the Philippines has entered your heart, especially how you've made the effort to learn some of the local language and use it often. I'll help you to perfect your pronunciation on the most common word "PO": Instead of "POE" or "POH" thus rhyming with English "TOE", pronounce it with a glottal stop. That is, instead of breathing through the end of the syllable, close your throat to stop air from going through your mouth or nose. If you place your palm in front of your mouth and you say 'poe' or 'toe' you'll feel a burst of air, then a continued softer gust of air. With the glottal stop "PO' you should just feel the initial burst of air, then nothing thereafter. The glottal stop exists in English- for example in the "UH" in "UH-OH", but in that case it's a glottal stop on the vowel "U", followed by an aspirated vowel "O". Safe travels and keep up the good work!
I’ve flown from Bohol to Seoul before actually. But to get to Thailand I would have had to fly to Manila first, then Singapore, then Thailand if I flew out of Bohol
Would you recommend renting an apartment for 3-4 months there in bohol? Where do you suggest? Bohol? TagB? Pangalo? Alona Beach? Maybe a quieter Beach outside of Alona? I'm looking for chill less traffic etc. not too too much tourists and elevated costs. Maybe something good AC near being for under $400 us per month. Thanks for your suggestions?
Hi! Alona beach area has a lot of tourists. Don’t stay near Alona beach if you don’t like crowds or tourists 😅 if you want a quiet beach town in Bohol I love Anda. it’s far away though… and I don’t know anything about rooms for rent there or if the wifi is stable … it might not be stable wifi, I really don’t know. The channel millennial legend just moved up to Anda, maybe they could help you out with some information
@@travelescapesOFFICIAL thank you for the quick response. Is there apartments at a less touristy beach in pangalo? I have been to Saiargo but it's too remote. I need to be closer to hospital etc. pangalo seems good because the city is just over the bridge. La Union was way to crazy and crowded. There are no waves in bohol, pangalo? I have to try, I know. I'm hoping to find a happy medium somewhere in the Philippines. I know you like pangalo.
I'm guessing what you missed most in TH is their food hehe. I've come to accept that TH food is just more popular among westerners. I think it's also generally healthier. Plus food there is cheaper too and i think you can get them anywhere (same with Malaysia as you mentioned before in your other vlog.) And also, a lot of our best dishes are really paired with rice. They're called "ulam". So for someone like you who doesn't want to eat too much carbs, that's an issue coz the ulams here are usually salty.
Cebu T2 and Clark International Airport Passenger terminals are both built my a contractor GMR-Megawide. Cebu roof design inspired by Cebu’s ocean wave and Clark Airport Terminal wavy roof inspired by Arayat and Sierra Madre mountains.
I was going to guess that the Filipino airport was around 9 am on a Wednesday because it was so empty. The hotel looks nice, clean, and with many awesome amenities in your room. Did you lock the patio door? You're very brave walking around in a strange rural area at night.

Nothing compares to getting out to Eastern Europe, S.E. Asia, Japan of course, and so many other great places. If you can score a job working for a company doing overseas work? Or become a Merchant Marine? Setting up home base in Japan, or Thailand or anywhere else in Asia is the ticket. Whatever you do? Life is short Gentleman. Live it.

Consider the Philippines your second home, you're always welcome here.
thank you so much!!!
Ur video are jam packed with so much valuable info . . .
My wife is laos and cooks laos n Thai food but never made mango sticky rice. So I went to a Thai restaurant and tried it. It was really good.
Oh I was even thinking of going to Laos since I'm so close to the border up here in Northern Thailand now! and yes, Mango sticky rice is so good!
Safe travels po..looking forward to your next travel vlog
Thank you! And thank you for following along!!
Loved my time in Bohol/Cebu and that airport, was amazing, can’t wait to be back, I flew Scoot, nice and cheap flight, no issues
Glad to hear you enjoyed your time there! Yeah no problems with Scoot for me either
My mother used to give me mango with sweet rice for snack, in a distant past, long long ago.
Just New to your page.❤❤ I'm a Filipino supporting vlogger who loves our country.

Nice vid dude! Thailand and the Philippines are some of my favorite places on the planet. Can't wait to go back in a few weeks!
I was going to guess that the Filipino airport was around 9 am on a Wednesday because it was so empty.
The hotel looks nice, clean, and with many awesome amenities in your room. Did you lock the patio door? You're very brave walking around in a strange rural area at night.

Hi jonathan
We did meet you in siquijor in may last year(the couple from sweden). We will be back in siquijor and camiguin in july this year. It was very nice to meet you❤
To answer your question, we missed a connection in Atl from Ams because the flight left early from Atl. We had to wait 5 hours for the next flight....I guess it could have been worse, but I wasn't pleased.
If you are a Veteran? Got some bad news that your days are going to be short? Get out there and travel.
I have traveled a lot as a kid, and while in the Navy, did a fair bit of cross country flights.
Live it.
The giganto arched wood supports in the ceiling are crazy.
In my opinion..Its a really well run airport
Thanks for the virtual tour of Thailand, the first foreign country I've been to but only in the airport enroute to Europe.
I always try to fly into/out-of Cebu as opposed to Manila. Its so much more organized and clean.
We are going to miss Ann and her cool vibes
I’m sorry… she won’t be in most of my videos.
Have a safe travel Jonathan ❤ enjoy your journey as we are always enjoying watching all your vlogs 😍
Thank you for always watching!!
