- You could actually watch Pete deliver the mail in Animal Crossing for the gamecube. Pete was involved in a sort of "love triangle" with Pelly and Phyllis, and we get to learn more about it by talking to him.

I miss this style of animal crossing
It felt like an actual town
It’s so crazy how the old animal crossing games seemed to have more personality than the new ones…
Yeah though I think in either new leaf or city folk you could sometimes find Pete standing next to your mailbox

A love triangle would be:
Pete loves Phyllis, Phyllis loves Pelly, Pelly loves Pete.
Nobody truly loves each other, but they all love someone within those three people. What you described was a love line which would be:
Pelly loves Pete, Pete loves Phyllis, Phyllis loves nobody.
A triangle has no end which means everyone loves someone, a love line does which means one person loves nobody. Phyllis doesn’t love anyone therefore it cannot be a triangle.

Philis is really mean though and Pelly is the Bice one yet Pete said the meannone was nice! He's maybe got the two confused or something & if he actually dated Philis he would be miserable!
@@abadgurl2010 i watched a video the other day on Rocket Elijah's Channel where he talked about how theres moments where Phyllis admits to being overworked and thats why she's so grumpy and mean, I mean in Wild world she had to work as resident services AND the post office
If they took all the little details of the first game and combined it with all the design functionality of New Horizons, it’d be the perfect game
And Change the music to something that's more like new leaf
With dialogue like wild world.
Honestly just an animal crossing game with every aspect of animal crossing would make the best animal crossing

god, please. new horizons is boring garbage. giving it aspects of the older games would make it 1000% better.
Man all the characters had so much personality in the first animal crossing, compared to new horizons.
Maybe thats the thing that made me drop NH so quickly vs my other ACings

@@tr4sh37 as someone who has been a huge fan of AC since '04, NH is pretty great. though it lacks the charm and mystery of the GC title so that one will always be the best
@@tr4sh37 I've been a fan since the GC one and honestly, I was bored of New Horizons after less than a year. Everything is only about decorating, the conversations are really stale and shallow, every personality type is the exact same and if decorating isn't your absolute favourite thing to do, it's not for you unless you like completionist busy work.

I love that he flies away! You never really get to see the villagers doing animal things, except for Pascal swimming
Even though I still have my GameCube, AC disc and memory cards, I would love the Original Animal Crossing game to become available to the Switch in the future.
Either a remake or a simple port to NSO would be great!

Nintendo did bring them back though. Sorta..... you can use their amiibo cards to invite them to certain locations in New Horizons.

I was hoping using the airport for mail was a temporary thing in acnh, and we'd get the option to build a post office in an update... It's a shame that never happened :P
@@didgeridooo after the success of ACNH, Nintendo would want to capitalize on what has become one of their bigger IPs. There will be another Animal Crossing, but no more updates will be added to ACNH.

sisterly love, doesnt need to be in a gross or in a romantic way. Phyllis cares deeply for her sister and is also a reason why she hates Pete

I’m not really an Animal Crossing fan, but I love it when games do this. When they give backstories and lore to characters that aren’t really important to the story

My favorite part about the original Animal Crossing was learning about all the characters and getting them to slowly like me. The newer games make it feel so easy, like everyone automatically likes you and the town is focused around you, instead of you just being a part of it? I miss the old feel.

They should bring them and that dynamic back, it is infinitely more interesting than what the modern NPCs have to say.

In AC: Wild World, you could shoot him down with a slingshot. If I remember correctly, he would drop his mail and you could help him collect it.

I loved Pete and the mail ladies. I wished they had kept that. It was so fun to catch him. I'd sometimes even send tons of mail just to force spawn him in.
Actually, if you talk to Pelly AND Phyllis in New Leaf, Pelly talks about her feelings for Pete and Phyllis says that SHE likes Pete a lot, but acts rude towards him whenever he's around to give her sister more of a chance with Pete. Phyllis would rather see her sister happy than make her sad or upset by taking the guy they both love.

These kind of Animations seem so charming with old technology. Now, even if the Animation is good and fluent, it doesn't look as cute anymore. Events like Pete's made those old games so much more lively and fun. I don't know why it doesn't hit that well in ACNH.

Don't get me wrong it's a fantastic game but... I miss all the NPCs that made Animal Crossing. I really hope they bring back some of the older characters and small details that the Originals had. 💕🥰

I used to love going into the town hall in wild world whenever phyliss was in and just doing loads of interactions to see if she'd get any ruder, same goes for when she would be in the coffee shop. I miss when the villagers were mean to you 😂

In Animal Crossing New Horizons, unlocking able sisters clothes shop and communicating with Sable everyday reveals the sister's background too. Sable opens up slowly, but their backgrounds are kinda sad.

When I was very small I would have very bad nightmares so I would go into the living room and play animal crossing to feel better. I saw Pete very often because of my nightmares and when I saw him I always knew it was time to go pretend to be asleep in my bed

Technically, it was originally on the Nintendo, 64, but that was Japan only release. A lot of the voices for deeper and the villagers were meaner back in the day.
