Loved Sujeet in the episode. Such an open hearted, kind, confident and also a beautiful minded person, no wonder he came into angel investor business...We need more soulful mentor and industry leaders like Sujeet Kumar sir...
DPS, IIT, parents and grandparents who are lawyers-common folks, take a breath. Don't be too hard on yourselves or question why you're not where others are. Consider this: if you had similar privileges, you might have achieved success like Sujeet. Many startup founders follow a predictable career trajectory. They often hail from families with one parent employed by the central government, attend KV schools, study at IITs, and then either work in the US or in consulting. Eventually, they venture into entrepreneurship, often with the backing of VCs through their networks or connections from college. Their life paths are distinct. To compete with them, you need to get your act together swiftly. Your learning curve must be steep if you want to stand a chance.
God i love how unfilterd this conversation is , i am amazed that they are talking about critical things with a sense of humour taking it seriously gets people offended or the converation always gets awkward or silence or awkward silence .
I love the open conversation where this guy who works really does something great and shares their experience more like in a friends conversation not an interview So please continue to do this
WTF Community: please record few episodes on water conservation and harvesting given the current crisis in Bangalore. Very much needed to spread for the coming future
I see lot of startup entrepreneur podcast.. some of these guys r my age..how much they have achieved..it's phenomenal also they look n talk in such simple way ..no suit ,no complex terms or giving half answers, not so serious.. Still their organisations have made huge impact on all Indian's lives..kudos do more n more good startups.. blessings..
sujeeet is such a good man and his laugh is very contagious ...Keep creating such content..I only consume WTF's content for entertainment..Keep up the good work guys Bilal and Meghna..!
It says WTF is Bangalore but I’m 20 minutes in and there has been no talk of Bangalore or his experience here except for a sprinkling of Kannada words. Talk about Bangalore. Places to eat. Places to go. The art. The music. The “Addas”. His area boys. All through the guest’s eyes, ofcourse. Man’s funny though. Refreshing and chill. Was it engaging - yes, mostly owing to the guest. But was it Bangalore centric - no. The interviewers also need to research better, prepare better questions and most importantly let the guest finish speaking.
Don’t make your guest lose the plot of what they want to convey by unnecessarily intervening to complete what they want to say and your body language and tone is frivolous almost to a point of cringe, a person who is accomplished seemed more humble.
Bilal some of your questions were random and a little naive, I understand this is a fun new age show but general knowledge is basic. Meghna rather has a good way of asking questions and maybe her prior work experience reflects onscreen too. The guest in question is so chill and honest…who would have thought Bhabhuaaaaaaa se…. Someone would do so well. Sujeet your laughter is contagious and Your clarity and honesty is enviable or something one would want to imbibe.
Not just questions but even comments. The show is about Bangalore, how is Delhi’s purported racism being commented on? Like what is this obsession with vilifying Delhi and North India? Saw the same thing in the episode with Nikhil Kamath. It reeks of bias and hypocrisy. If Beer Biceps did a similar podcast stereotyping Bengaluru, they will all be up in arms.
i Can relate this, i have been to bangalore banerghatta area for a period of six months in 2015. Things must have changed a lot. But i miss my old Andra friend who used to run the mess there. miss those cool bridge in the evening.
My name is Vikas. I am from Rajajinagar in Bangalore. I am watching the youtube videos of Wtf is Bangalore from a few days now. I am getting to see that this TH-cam channel is run by two people, one person whose name I don't know properly and another person by name Meghana. I am also observing that whenever I see the person by name Meghana smiling in the video, I feel a lot energized and like to watch more of her smiling. I don't know what exactly is the profession of both the people who run this TH-cam channel, but, the smiles of the person Meghana is certainly energizing me a lot. Thanks a lot to both of you for making videos and Meghana always pls keep smiling in the videos so that I feel it interesting to watch the videos on this TH-cam channel WTF.
How can the female host of the show not know the movie, Life is Beautiful! It is an Academiy award winning film which defined a generation. Also, what is thing about bashing all other cities in India, other than Banagalore, specially Delhi. It is really not cool to that! No city can compete with the infrastructure and bandwith of Delh and Mumbaii. Moreover, it is one nation! Delhi and Mumbai bashing is not necessary, for Banagalore to shine. If you want this show to be Bangalore centric, focus on it's strengths rather than criticising other cities unnecessarily. Make Bangalore's line longer, rather than attempting to erase the lines of other prolofic cities of India ❤
Loved the episode. But it was less about the Sujeet-Blore connection; you would obviously expect that aspect of it explored more considering the podcast is about seeing Bangalore through his lens. Random politics questions etc were quite confusing from a context perspective. Another thing some speakers need a little nudge and a little time to complete their thoughts and get it into words. Please allow them to complete. Ex: section where you ask his son’s 2nd question but it goes into this complete tangent and back to back questions about father son relationship before he says anything.
15:13 Here i Felt like Bilal kya Mars se aya hai ki kya😂😂 Bhai sabko JEE aur UPSC toh at least pata hi hai. Haan Clat,Gate,GMAT,GRE ye exam shayad utne logo nai pata honge but at least JEE and UPSC toh sabko pata hai.
I have a question. Why do IITian,s in general have a thought of becoming a founder. What kind of exposure do they get that other colleges in India don’t have. If IIT can set a template for other colleges may be it will help the country
They get Funding very easily and if you get that then you will also create a Sucessful Company i.e.the chances gets higher. In Chanakya Neeti Chanakya has said For a Sucessful Buisness its kosha should be overflowing. Kosha means Money,Funds. But that doesn't mean ki Funding mil jaye to sucess confirm hai No Many Fail but the reason is again if they don't get Funding in subsequent rounds that's why they fail. And for getting funding in Subsequent Rounds you need certain Revenue and then if with same funding other person is Bringing more Revenue then he will get it. But Sometimes its just the Network Effects of IItians Help. If a VC Fund Manager is also a IItian and If Entrepreneur taking Funding is also Iitian. So that Networking Effects are also there. And other Things Like Consistency Perseverance Patiance Discipline wo bhi hai which are basic Requirements.
There are some gated societies where u can buy individual bungalows/villas as u can see in the background, most of these areas are either located near Outer ring road or at the corner of city
This guy had too much practical knowledge, they were unable to unlock it from him, and I do think the majority of audience are the people, who follow nikhil's show. Need to change the questions bro... So that we can belive that we can also become like them... Anyhow it is drunk comment.
59:19 you really think bangalore has the potential to wipe the dhandhe waali vibe from gujarat ? Either bilal hasn't been to gujarat or he has not seen the posh side of it yet :)))
Wtf. Bilal is the son of Imtiaz Jaleel who is in the hyper-communal, repeatedly 'sar ran se juda' demanding party AIMIM! The same ones who have put up posters promising bounties for heads of detractors.. No dearth of Bilal engaged in that party's activities either. Gross
I feel this is a great series that is being run by very immature and silly hosts. Bilal had no idea that JEE is an engineering entrance exam and that administrative services need a graduation as a prerequisite lol. Or that IAS is a country wide obsession, not just in North India, till Sujeet corrected that perception. The lack of awareness is embarrassing. And the constant Delhi jibes - listen we get that you are complexed about the better infra, better water management, well connected metro with ample parking, a thriving startup ecosystem, and the ability to get anything, but please don’t make it so evident 😂 Such a great episode - Sujeet seems so fun, but the viewing experience was completely ruined by the hosts stating “Delhi folks are the most racist” or “Anywhere is better than Delhi”. So ironical coming from a guy who has studied in Delhi Public School, Aurangabad lol. And this is supposed to be about Sujeet’s view of Bangalore - where is that? As someone who has lived in Bangalore for more than a decade now, I was curious to learn the places that shaped the course of Flipkart and Udaan. Had to stop watching midway because the questions and comments made by Bilal were beyond annoying.
In terms of tech banglore is ahead but if you talk about manufacturing and all you can't beat gujarat by 1 %. Gujarat capabilities are more than banglore you must know.
Bilal is great , charming and sorry to say Meghana is just spoiling this entire show( too much of vague questions and zero clarity). Hopefully if she goes away, the show can be more enriching.
Damn sujeet's laughter is weirdly contagious 😂
