Props to you for showcasing the Play to Win alter sleeve in your video edit. I love seeing content creators give each other credit for stuff - much respect!
Fun game despite the small mistakes! It's always fun to see people experiment with the new cards, and I'm really hoping to see some more fun Jan Jansen decks!
I would have played David's hand very diff. firstly on his first turn i would have just land + elf (dening sentinel draw), 2nd turn i would have cast land, lotus petal for free, tap elf for mana vault and then cast tezeret find basalt and have that in hand
Near the end at 15:00 minutes into the video how did Kinnan produce infinite simic mana with a sol ring and fellwar stone? Nobody else at the table plays green, or is there another exotic orchard or rainbow land somewhere I’m missing?
Tasha is barely a casual Edh viable commander. I play her in some decks hoping that I'll find a deck where she's actually playable, but she always feels so underpowered. They played it way too safe with her design.
We try to showcase not only the "top tier" "viable" commanders if you haven't noticed :) Every now and then we might look at a commander and wonder how it could be pushed to the limits, and try to build it. That's why you'll see stuff like that, and the recent Squee video for instance
Imo I think tashas power is really showcased through displacer kitten cause her neg ticks trigger the kitten to flicker her. This allows you to play every spell you exiled and if you cast a simple non creature spell you get to cast all those exiled spells again after an uptick.
The deck had some interesting ideas, and while the mana value and abilities are not all the way on the top, we like to try to pick up different commanders and see what they could do at the highest possible power-level :)
Somebody give that Mayhem Devil a payrise! That devil worked goddamn hard XD

Very good game! Big fan of longer games.

Ooooh, new background game music? I dig it.

This is why I love white and stax. Makes you have to work hard for combo finishes but feels so good when you get them anyway!
I came here to see how good Jan Jansen could be and was not let down
what a great game! So many interactions and value. Todos jogaram muito!
Torpor orb in hand is just screaming “cast meeee”

There was a Mana Confluence
Damn, Mayhem Devil is really good
wow, what a game!
Kinnan always be stealing wins outta nowhere
Fantastic game!
Random question - do you know where Baal got his die from?
Do you mean the white dice we use on the channel? If so, we bought them online (alliexpress) so they're easily seen on camera :)
How is he using treasures with Karn on the field?
The treasures were never cracked through their abilities, but instead through Face-Breaker. In turn triggering Mayhem Devil :)
can u give dekc list of jan jansen please?
It is in the description of the video :)
Sadly, unless there is first strike damage Professional Face-Breaker triggers only once per combat.
Professional Face Breaker triggers once per combat per player dealt damage, hence why Baal attacked different players.
@@SplitSecond is that really how it works? Interesting
What a crazy game.
No way Tasha is a Cedh viable commander. A vanilla Dimir commander is nearly as good.

Jan Jansen is so cool
Tasha is such a horrible commander. Props to the Rodrigo to try to make something out of nothing.

I slap decks off the table if i ever see a dranith magestrate being placed on a playmat.
Dies to doom blade! :)
