Aven Mindcensor on the Praetors grasp. Only feel bad that Dan's breach was taken from him. It was fascinating seeing so many blue decks with so much white interaction!

I love your videos. I have one question, why in min 9:32 they play things in response to Ryan when the grand abolliser is on the battlefield? Is that a mistake or am I missing something?. Keep with the good job 👍

In game 1, Ryan has a Grand Abolisher in play. Dan and Kevon both played spells on Ryan's turn.

16:00 Couldn't Ryan attack, gain the Treasure, exiled card, and card draw then decide whether or not to case Dockside? Was there something in Main Phase 1 that was important?
Awesome video as usual. Cal played that second game pretty badly imo. Nymris is not a turbo deck and is unlikely to ever get there with a main phase Naus and he was in a good position prior to that, building steady value.
Was the Underworld Breach that was searched out of Dan's Library in the top 4 cards? Cause Aven Mindcensor would have prevented him searching beyond that?

So this is random, but I’m trying to find the episode where a Kess deck won on the first turn. I know it exists or existed but I can’t find it anymore. Help?

Wouldnt Ryan not be able to find underworld breach if aven mindcensor says "a library" including someone else's? or was it in the top four?

Won't the blue color produced from the treasure token to cast thassa's oracle be colorless since he is a mardu player?? or am I being rolled haha
The rules on colors in relation to color identity and mana production changed years ago. Ryan can produce any color of mana with his treasures.
At 15:25 when kevon flash back sevinne's reclamition can't he copy it ans target the breach again with the copy making it harder for it to be countered cos openents would need two counters to stop it?
The copy only happens on resolution of the spell.

That Ad Naus with a deck clearly not optimized for Ad Naus was painful to watch
Yeah, I struggled to understand that line. I assume there is combo potential in the deck, but going that low with the Mana Crypt in play just to get value seemed bad.
Can someone explain me why at 11:45 Dan claims that we won't draw more cards off rhystic? Am I missing something?

Praetor's Grasp doesn't exile itself, it goes to the graveyard as normal

They just forgot about grand abolisher
Dress down was out. It was shut off.
So at 9:32 Kevin couldn't of casted dress down during Ryan's turn with the grand abolisher out on the battlefield. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems like a big misplaced that should've not been missed especially in a cedh game. There was several misplays and this would've been a good game if it was played out properly. Really hope there will be a rematch.
He cast it during the end phase of the player before Ryan as I think it circumvents timing, then the other player stacked his on top of Ryan's attempt to kill the other spell.
Edit: correct. It does circumvent timing as dress down is at the Beginning of the end step not during the end step so he did indeed play it out correct.
With the other dress down on the battlefield, grand abolisher doesn’t function. It wasn’t a misplay. It was actually a really good play.

@@PlayingWithPowerMTG yall could still choose to play more interesting decks. i appreciate the effort that goes into your content, but you seem to stigmatize any type of gameplay that isn't turbo 2 card combo decks. its teaching people there aren't any other ways to build, and that's just not true.
It’s cEDH. If you want to make quirky builds play casual, cEDH cares about making the play that will win you the game, more often than not, that is a two card combo. Play around jt
