- I am opening a First/1st Off The Line (FOTL) hobby box of 2023 Panini Impeccable NFL Football for our next collectible sports trading card pack unboxing/product review! Hobby boxes have an SRP of $700 but resell in the mid-high $1,000 range (FOTL boxes resell in the low-mid $2,000 range). Every box contains 1 7-8 card pack (3 box cases). Expect 5-6 autographs and 2-3 base/parallels cards per box. FOTL boxes contain 1 exclusive Silver Ink Autograph /19 and 1 Ruby parallel /8. The card is kinda better that way. Maybe not if it was a top player, but a low round QB getting the bar glued over his picture....kinda awesome

The best part of opening on video is that Panini could never question the horrible quality control. I would ask for my money back on that box for sure & I totally agree that at that level, they should all be on-card autos.
I usually try to give these companies benefit of the doubt because collectors complain too much, but a redemption, 4 stickers, and a misplaced bar card is absolutely unacceptable.
Completely agree. Panini football products will be a train wreck until they lose the license. Prices way way up and quality down, don’t have the big top QB rookies. It’s honestly an embarrassment and sticking it to every collector out there. I refuse to buy football anymore until Topps takes over. Not going to get blatantly robbed on wax anymore.

Quality control
Impeccable, IMac, NT, Flawless, all the big auto chases are going to be terrible this year without the big guys..that’s why origins and black where lame this year, It’s sad- I’m sticking with Prizm, Optic, Select- chasing parallels !!
Football stuff just cost way to much when most of the top guys don’t sign and then sticker autos make it worse. Haven’t bought any football since collegiate chronicles since it at least wasn’t crazy expensive. At least basketball still has some value.
I'm never going to tell another person how to spend their money, but what is the value proposition on this product? If you're spending $1-2k+, what are you hoping to pull to get anywhere near your money back?
Awesome Vid! Craziest Error Card(s) I ever got was when I bought a Hobby Box of 2020 Baseball Archives and almost every card in the Hobby Box The Reverse/Back had the Name/info/stats of a different Player than that of the Player-image/Name on the front?
For the price you’d think they should be able to get the bar in the right spot. Still a super good looking product but the autos kind of all rely around AR15 which you got on whatnot
I'm with you on this. If a box of a couple cards is going to cost over $1000 all autographs should be on card
To be honest, with most of the cards being stickers it doesn’t seem too different from products like obsidian or origins. Based on this box it seems like this year impeccable should really be priced near those products

Why I've pretty much gone exclusively to baseball. 90 percent on card, ton's cheaper, fun to prospect and still big money rookie and vet cards

the bars fall out whenever. I bought one off eBay and it fell out in transit. I just stuck it back in. I don't know if yours will pull off, but I assume it shifted after it was packed

I've seen patches with stitches hanging out, patches, coming out of the card, patches completely missing, but the silver not even partially in the window? WTF???
Sad for the $$$.

You should send in that silver bar for grading
Happened to me last year with a Josh Allen flag silver. Still waiting for the factory error fix I sent back a year later. Told me it could take another year+
They should replace that with something comparable or compatible and you should be allowed to keep that at the very least replace the card with another silver card
I pulled bog Bog Ben’s rookie auto in UD ultimate collection way back in the day
There’s been a few of those error cards pop up on whatnot. Panini got some explaining to do.
It’s amazing to me how you always pull out good cards and I watch other channels and they get skunked all the time. Do you have some kind of deal with these card companies or something to give you boxes with good cards in it to make it look like we’re going to get some if we go buy some.

The whole point of impeccable was that on card autos look clean on that canvas design. Not anymore. Not gonna buy this product anymore. Not even the singles.

Packman just wondering if the error cards are worth more? I’d think they would be, but in your situation with it just being the silver glued to the card does that up the value or are you just stuck with a bar of silver now?

That is Panini's way of telling you the silver bar is worth more than the card.
They actually helped you out by removing the bar without damaging the card...makes it easier to take to the pawn shop

I just pulled a 22-23 Panini Flux Shaedon Sharpe Apex Silver. The weird thing is it's numbered in a weird spot on the back 1/10. I haven't seen any other cards for sale online that are numbered. Anyone confirm?

What’s sad is with Topps you can have a very affordable rip on almost every hobby box. Panini is giving lower quality cards with lower quality packaging for high quality prices. They are going to price themselves out of the hobby. It’s been a good run for sure!
