    Not for nothing, but this has been going on for a decade or more. People use to ask me to check those silver sticker #s quite a bit back in 2012 and on. Then when I open the box, they would always get a big hit or case hit. That seemed so unfair to me. So at that point I stopped showing sticker #s and made it where people had to roll the dice or pick a number. Also in other products the code # inside the box would tell if you got the case hit. The 8 string # would change for the case hit, but that was in the inside the wrapped box.
    But once I figured out people could find sequences, I refused to show those sliver sticker #s and made people pick a #. For many years, I would write in sharpie # 1 to 12 on the boxes once the case was opened. Then they had to pick #s or roll the dice. I did this so the people that were following the case, would know I wasn't switching out boxes, etc. I use to draw faces on the Flawless boxes, so people would know that was the leftover box. I would do anything to show that I wasn't switching any boxes out of a case. But I wouldn't show the identifying silver sticker #s to identify them.

    I love Crown Royale and I love collecting the Silhouettes with the Prime patches in the background. I only buy into breaks if I can pick my team and there was one WhatNot breaker that ran PYT’s. For a good while when the product was new, he would run four breaks a night with each break having 1/4 of a fresh case. I watched these breaks off and on for a few weeks. Anyway, all 10/10 cases that I saw him break the Kaboom would always be found in the final 1/4 of the case. This would drive up the demand for each subsequent break and allow the breaker to get more money for each spot since it was always “Kaboom is live”. Up until the final 1/4 case, which would then be the “Guaranteed Kaboom” break and prices would go way up. I always knew it was fishy, but I figured that the Kaboom box was always in the same position within the case (like 3rd from the bottom on the right for example). Well now I guess that it was even easier than that and for sure these breakers knew the con.

    LOL, this is how the breakers and big youtubers seem to get the best cards. Panini shares the code with them so they can pull out the loaded boxes and open it on youtube or whatever to promote the product more. There was a sale of FOTL Crown Royale back in September that had the Kaboom code (which is not very hard to figure out), sold for $1200, all of the ones listed on Ebay now do not have the code. I always suspected the buying orphan boxes on Ebay was a losing endeavor. I've gotten the best cards only when I buy a case of something, not individual boxes that have already been orphaned from a case somewhere. I bet alot of people are going through other sets, boxes, years now trying to crack the case hit code, lol...

    Similar thing happened last year with 2021 Certified Football but not necessarily with numbers on the front. I noticed after pulling a Fields and Lance RPA out of separate boxes and cases that both contained the “Case Hit” insert card. I thought it may have been a coincidence, so I decided to do some research. I watched tens of case breaks, and sure enough in every case the box that contained the “Case Hit” Insert card had one of the top 5 QB(T Law, Fields, Mac, Lance, and Wilson) RPA in it. Which comes to the concern of mine. The “Case Hit” insert card was thicker stock card than standard base(80pt vs 20pt) which of course weighs more. If breakers figured this out and weighed the boxes they knew which one would contain the QB RPA in it

  • @weilland

    I think it's with every product across the board. Think about it. The manufacturers have to do accounting. They know where every 1/1 kabooms etc. Like the 86/87 fleer basketball sequences or 83 donruss baseball. Finding Jordans and Gwynn rookies were pretty easy back then. Now it's a larger scale. People are getting crafty. Especially the breakers. The breakers open most of this stuff. It isn't hard to find kabooms or superfractors 1/1s if there's a sequence. Especially cases. finding the case hit. If I buy a product, It's a case of them. Don't want anyone tampering with my cards. Do I think breakers knew about this earlier? Shit yeah!! It's a business. Either it's a sequence of #s on a box or player patterns.

    This is crazy that this video popped up. I was watching a break last night and the breaker accidentally asked what time are these two guys coming in that were in the comments. That made my eyebrows go up because these two guys were pushing the bids high and stopping at a certain number or close to it. I figured “nah that's their limit”. After moving on and waiting watching these two guys started to ask for personals but they were very specific about boxes and opening cases going through the boxes. Every box had at least a case hit and all the screaming “You can’t miss! You’re on fire” was so annoying I didn’t pay much attention to what they were saying anymore because I turned the volume down. I thought wow they are lucky but now after watching your video, I'm reconsidering that thought. I don’t think they know or knew what’s in each box but I get the feeling they knew which boxes had greater opportunities. They were just too specific without any reservations at all!🤔🤨🧐 It could have been just amazing luck but my gut feeling tells me otherwise.

When so many people do this for either a hobby, passion, or even a full time job!! So once again thank you 3! And everyone of our "Legitimate card collectors" NEED! to stay together and spread the word because nobody that collects cards weather hobby or for a career, deserves to get "conned/Ripped off" this Hobby is already expensive enough as it is to have people like that involved ruining it for everyone else, thanks again guys!

  • @brentwalker5726
    @brentwalker5726 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I think this will work itself out. Its not completely different from back in the day when people knew where cards were by the sequence (a la Jordan Fleer RC etc) or pack/box location in the case. Another similar more recent example is pack fondling/molesting by those creepy 40 year old dudes that you'd see at Target with the scale their mom uses to weigh their meals weighing all the packs. Or they damage all the cards trying to get a peek at the card #s through the translucent wrapper. Bottom line - Breakers who have transparency and continue to pull case hits for their customers will be fine. Shady breakers who never pull anything or only seem to pull stuff in "personals" for a select few "customers" won't.

    Going back to the early 2000s, Upper Deck sets used to have an auto jersey as a case hit. There were 12 boxes in the case, 11 of the boxes serial numbers would be in sequential order and one of the boxes would be something different - that box had the case hit jersey auto. So for example the box numbers would be something like 456232501 to 456232511 and then there would be something like 102354743.

    It's so dumb and simple it makes sense.
    My suspicion all along it was Panini being lazy, they have ruined the hobby through their money grabby laziness.
    Of course they used sequential rolls of licensee stickers and added no randomness to the process at source, you bet this dumb method was how they did it with all the 1of1's and major cards too. It's worth pointing out that this sticker is from the NBA and is used to show it's an officially licensed product, I imagine these are min a 1000 sticker roll so as such you can know from at least a 1000 cases in which a specific hit is placed in.
    So if a person can get the serial number sequence from a hit you know the roll it came from, so again hypothetically the person who packs the cards just needs to know the sequence and boom you have the hits
