If it can run Far Cry 2 at all it would probably run first ever Far Cry on full resolution and 60 fps, with maybe some tweaked settings. It`s fun to think that top range AAA game from 2004 can now run on passively cooled 2-4 watts tablet from 2014/2015 era (hardware-wise). In 7-8 years we might get to run Crysis 3 maxed out on i-gpu`s of office machines :D.
Far Cry (1) was actually very demanding at the time. It was almost considered the Crysis before Crysis. It would probably run though since it can run San Andreas.

I have an 8 core processor overclocked to 4.8ghz, 16GB DDR3 ram at 1866mhz, two 8GB radeon R9 390 graphics cards in crossfire and I can tell you there are still games out there that beat up my computer.
Really?, the only one I have found that I cant max out is ARK and that does not count because of the interesting optimisation. My Specs are: Intel i5 4430 @ 3.294GHz (BLK OC) 16GB DDR3 1600mhz XFX RX480 GTR Black Edition @1430/9100 (can hit 1480 but backed the voltage to 1.2)

That's a sub $150 CPU, its going to loose when you compare it to more expensive options. Besides, with a Cinebench score of around 700 at that clock speed, that's nothing to complain about. The twin 390 cards should be pretty nice. I'm running an R9 270 (sub zero phase change cooling). I'm thinking its time for an upgrade (when I go 4k) since my cooler makes the GTX 1070 I'm thinking about, look very cheap. It will be a nice upgrade, but I'm still going to keep my FX-8350 since I haven't had a problem with any of my games (otherwise it would be the component at -50 to -30c @ max load). I think its an amazing CPU for the price it was. It does everything I expected and more, same with the R9 270 (though its unstable at 50% overclock, that does kind of suck).

The solid state drive helps a little bit with swapping. Also the screen for my model is very bad, it runs resolution that is higher than its native resolution, so it is blurry. ClearType tuning helped somewhat to make screen more readable. Unfortuneatly, more powerful Ryzen versions does not exist. This form factor is underrated, it is real PC that can be taken virtually everywhere. If You need one, buy one! They are cheap. I reccomend also getting bluetooth keyboard and bluetooth mouse as well as microsd memory card to install software on, as internal memory is small and can fill fast.

+kenny ben and its on old baytrail architecture which have many bugs for ex. cant read from SD card faster than 20MB/s. Search something with z8300/z8350/z8500/z8550. These atoms which I listed have 12 EU instead of 4EU like baytrail z3735 and its on 14nm architecture so its not throttling.
all chinece windows tablet on z83xx-z85xx Intel atom is a shit, all have SD card issue, sometimes it's just not works, low read/write speed, cheap wi fi module, cpu is hot/throttling issue. And u still need mouse and keyboard for comfort use. If u want tablet choose Android/iOS, if u want device with x86 CPU - choose laptop.
But if u still want windows 10 tablet on Intel atom cpu, choose one with 4gb ram and 64gb storage memory, don't pick 2gb ram/ 32 gb storage especially dualboot(Android/win10) tablet, because after windows updates u will have like 2-3gb free space. and 2gb ram is not enought, because internal GPU doesn't have it's own memory and it uses ram instead.

IRNatman project64 only uses 1 core so expect games like mario and zelda to run smoothly but dont expect heavy titles like conker bad fur day or perfect dark to run smoothly

If you want a tablet but also want to play some old games get the Linx vision gaming tablet it was made to stream steam from your pc to it because of its built in xbox controller (is removeable) It can still play games using its own hardware it has 2GB ram but thats all i can remember.

When buying a tablet like that, seriously spend a bit more sheckels on something with 2 gigs of ram. I had a $60 HP Stream 8 with 1GB and a $80 Asus M80TA with 2 and a pen but otherwise on the same specs, and the former is almost unusable even for web browsing, while Asus is my daily driver for a long time already. If you want to get a 8-incher and not something larger, scout for something with a Wacom or Ntrig stylus, Windows on such a small screen can be a pain in the ass. Unfortunately, manufacturers don't seem to get it, and as such there's only a handful of penabled 8-inch Atom tablets.
There is also the GPD WIN that is a really portable PC running Win 10 and then the SMACH Z that is coming out next year. Both of them are about the size of a 3DS XL

you forgot to mention the second most important things about any device that can be used for portable gaming BATTERY LIFE AND OVERHEATING how long does the battery last at full load and how hot does it get at full load
You failed to mention that 1GB Win10 Devices are obsolete and unsupported according to Microsoft now. While the original Windows 10 Version aswell as the 1511 "November Update" had Minimum Requirements of 1GB RAM, since the "Anniversary Update", even 32bit Win10 now requires 2GB of RAM, meaning you will not be able to install or run Anniversary update on this or similar devices, and it's only a matter of Time before Windows Store Apps or Security Updates will require Anniversary Update as a Baseline.
My mum has one of these and it was surprisingly good for what it is! It can run pretty much any PS2 era game and even Modern Warfare 2 was playable with decent frame rates! However Rocket League won't even run on it

Have you tried running the windows 10 version of minecraft ? The original minecraft was written in java and it is very demanding. But the windows 10 version is written in C# which is a much better performing language. Keep in mind that if you have a legit copy of original minecraft you can download the windows 10 version too.
Another idea, if your into first person shooters and want to play counter strike. Play counter strike source on this thing. I put it on low settings on a similar tablet and it ran pretty good with minimal studering.
How to test minecraft on low end systems: 1 get optifine 2 turn down all the settings including render distance and particals 4don't forget animations 5 go test 6 what number did. I forget?

i have the hp stream 7 which has similar specs to this one. Emulators work fine on it but running low end games like hearthstone made the thing get extremely hot. Not great for gaming but still neat that a $60 tablet can run full windows

I had a tablet with identical specs, the only gaming I did on it was GTA SA and psx/N64 and older emulators, and it did amazingly in those.

RAM doesn't increase FPS, the processor and GPU is just too weak.
RAM also affect fps , micro stuttering .

128234 21534 csgo with less than 50-60fps is unplayable, BTW I run it 1080p max settings at 300fps talk about overpowered PC :p

If you want a tablet but also want to play some old games get the Linx vision gaming tablet it was made to stream steam from your pc to it because of its built in xbox controller (is removeable) It can still play games using its own hardware it has 2GB ram but thats all i can remember.
I don't have a great idea of how demanding a game is but do you think you could try testing some of the just cause titles on these videos?

You could connect up a keyboard and a mouse to the tablet. Then you can install Steam to be able to stream games from your other computer.

When buying a tablet like that, seriously spend a bit more sheckels on something with 2 gigs of ram. I had a $60 HP Stream 8 with 1GB and a $80 Asus M80TA with 2 and a pen but otherwise on the same specs, and the former is almost unusable even for web browsing, while Asus is my daily driver for a long time already.
If you want to get a 8-incher and not something larger, scout for something with a Wacom or Ntrig stylus, Windows on such a small screen can be a pain in the ass. Unfortunately, manufacturers don't seem to get it, and as such there's only a handful of penabled 8-inch Atom tablets.

You failed to mention that 1GB Win10 Devices are obsolete and unsupported according to Microsoft now.
While the original Windows 10 Version aswell as the 1511 "November Update" had Minimum Requirements of 1GB RAM, since the "Anniversary Update", even 32bit Win10 now requires 2GB of RAM, meaning you will not be able to install or run Anniversary update on this or similar devices, and it's only a matter of Time before Windows Store Apps or Security Updates will require Anniversary Update as a Baseline.

My mum has one of these and it was surprisingly good for what it is! It can run pretty much any PS2 era game and even Modern Warfare 2 was playable with decent frame rates! However Rocket League won't even run on it

I played portal on my old PC, it had an old AMD sempron ~800MHz processor and 256MB of DDR2 RAM, played through the whole damn game at an average of 7-8 fps! :P

Have you tried running the windows 10 version of minecraft ? The original minecraft was written in java and it is very demanding. But the windows 10 version is written in C# which is a much better performing language. Keep in mind that if you have a legit copy of original minecraft you can download the windows 10 version too.
Another idea, if your into first person shooters and want to play counter strike. Play counter strike source on this thing. I put it on low settings on a similar tablet and it ran pretty good with minimal studering.
How to test minecraft on low end systems:
1 get optifine
2 turn down all the settings including render distance and particals
4don't forget animations
5 go test
6 what number did. I forget?

i have the hp stream 7 which has similar specs to this one. Emulators work fine on it but running low end games like hearthstone made the thing get extremely hot. Not great for gaming but still neat that a $60 tablet can run full windows

Got a windows tablet with 500gb hd in the keyboard, only 2gb of ram but man it's sweet to be able to play lesser games on the go.
