A 200$ PC that can run BF1, that's why I love PC gaming. If you turn some options down, you can evenn get 60fps and your game will still look better than consoles.
See im building a PC after years of console gaming (budget is like 900) but i see older components 3 times less than my budget but do equally well or even better.
And you don't even have to pay $60 a year just to play online!! Used to just be M$, but then Sony was all like, "Hey, look at all the money they're making by charging for something that's free on PC, Wii and our PS3".. So, fu*& those arseholes.
Not to mention how much you save on games by buying during sales. I recommend hitting up /r/gamedeals on reddit as well as keeping an eye out on humblebundle and bundlestars. And if there's something specific you're looking for then isthereanydeal is a lifesaver
1050 is by far the best current gpu for value, the price you're paying for the increase in performance between 1050 and 1050ti you may as well jump to the 1060 3gb
you got your 1050TI on a huge discount you can't really include that lol, in USA during black friday you could get a 1060 for about $160, in fact I bet you still can
• Spenser • it's been proven on Many videos on TH-cam it's still a fantastic chip and yes the i7 is being bottlenecked pretty bad because my i7 860 runs with my gtx 1060 pretty happily and never gets to 100 percent use
that's a really good system for $200 you're getting about the same performance of the original PS4 I think that would be good for anybody that's trying to build a really budget PC that can still play games at high to medium settings
HD PRO To be honest i am a fallout fan and that system outperforms the original ps4 by 12 fps on fallout which is a crazy performance considering the price of this system.
alec rochon the PS4 is capped to 30 fps, to keep the game at a stable framerate throughout. the 750ti will drop below 30 at high in demanding areas so you will get this annoying effect when it jumps from sub 30 fps to 45 fps. If the PS4 was uncapped the performance would be similar to a 750ti.
Lostrocker no it wouldn't it really wouldn't when I was a console games fallout 4 was unplayable on ps4 sometimes dropping into the 14-19 fps range in indoor battles the consoles are just tragic they really are
Quality Pixel well the ps4 runs on hard ware from 2012 and the ps4 pro runs on hardware from 2015 why..because ps4 and ps4 pro can upgrade there systems like pc you have a whole range of gpu's and cpu's but console you can upgrade anything like that
Last time i used one of those i left the computer downloading shit overnight, next morning i found that the fan stopped working and everything was fucking hot,the coputer was freezed, when i turned it off i could hear the "cracking" of the metal getting colder,NEVER use a cheap psu.
well... better than nothing really, and it isnt really a fire hazard until you push more than 60% of the rated capacity, how did i find that out ? the hard way...
OfficialG3 I've learnt the hard way as well. Usually, cheap power supplies are only P4 certified. Meaning, they are using a VERY old design where they still think 5v rail is relevant. Then you have the ratings... good, god. How people can lie.
Really he would have been better off with an old quad core and a newer graphics card. Considering the price to performance of the 1060 3 GB and RX 480, I don't think $50 for a 750ti is worth it. The bar has been raised and 970s, 960s, 780s are now available for dirt cheap as well. Of course with that no name PSU you might have issues with the 780. I always forget that he's in the UK, so the used market might be more scarce.
ninja of fire Do you know how much the PS4 pro costs? This is cheaper than last gen consoles but can beat the new gen consoles! Console peasants just don't understand
***** If SteamOS and Vulkan ever manage to catch up to Windows and DirectX, performance-wise, and/or XBOX Scorpio manages to combine the UWA approach with Windows 10, I can assure you that 'ease of use' argument will be debunked and by then consoles will have no benefits aside from a more polished port (but that because devs are douchebags and care to make more money on consoles than on PC)
After watching alot of your content and others, I decided to do a budget build... I picked up a few things locally, on a bit of a gamble as all was listed as untested/worked the last t ikme I tried it, for $20aud I got the following -16gb ram (4x4gb) -I7 2600k -64gb ssd -750w psu -Unbranded case -Gigabyte z68 mobo And in a separate pick up a 2tb hdd and an rx560 4gb gpu for $80 So for a total of $100aud, mixture of medium and high settings I'm able to get pretty smooth game play anywhere between 50-60fps 1080p playing gta v, mad max, Skyrim, fallout 4, doom(2016), rise of the tomb raider, dirt 4, far cry 4, crash bandicoot and a few others..
Zach Jones I think that thing is also referred to as a "backplate" www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1168199-whats-with-the-metal-prongs-on-this-motherboard-io-backplate/
KrypticGuru 2.0 but a 6300 can botleneck a gtx 1050ti !! I have them .... when i get 35-40 fps my friend gets 65-70 fps in some games with the same 1050ti (he has an i5 6500)
Kristóf Rádai thanks, I will base my Christmas build off of this. I might just push the little 6300 as far as it will go. I only plan on recording and editing with the PC. So picking a card/system that can run games while recording would do me wonders. Let me know if your rig can do this,
I'm still using this CPU today . Bought it back in 2009 clocked it at 3,4 Ghz still looking good . Paired it with 16 GB Ram @ 2,4 Ghz and a GTX 970 no problem in any game .
One thing, why not open a website to sell computers at these prices like your videos? Like the $ 25 PC selling it for $ 35, or this video for about $ 215 for example. I think it would be a good deal for you, and a good buy for lowspec gamers. have a nice day :D
Looking for some advice - my system has an AMD athlon x4 750k CPU and I'm wondering what the optimal GPU to pair this with would be as I'm looking to upgrade (budget around £150). Thank-you in advance :)
RandomGaminginHD thank you very much, your advice is greatly appreciated! I'll certainly invest in an 1050 as my gpu is by far the weakest component of my PC - any particular brand for the 1050 e.g EVGA, PALIT etc :)
For the same reason I do. To marvel at what certain components are capable of. The same reason I watch Lowspecgamer. I too have a high end system but I can't stay away
I think it's because I was running on a low spec system for a long time. I only just replaced my 10 year old PC, which was running on a GTX 460 and a Q6600 with 8 gigs of DDR2 RAM, I started watching this channel after I upgraded to an i5-6600 and a GTX 770. Pretty MASSIVE leap, I'm getting like 4-5x the performance
I'm 21 and I worked hard for this system. I clearly said 'pretty high end' implying it's not quite there yet. I'm upgrading to a 1070 which is on its way now. It's still a work in progress. Let's not also forget I upgraded from a Q6600, If anything it sounds like you're playing on a toaster and you're jealous or something. I don't see why you'd have any reason to make such a degrading comment unless you for some reason are insecure, meaning it's likely that my assumption is correct.
It’s cool to see one of your older videos. I grabbed an LGA1156 socket Dell Precision T1500a for free and I’m gonna see what I can do with it, I already have an SSD to use so that’s about $100 already paid for. I’m gonna look for an updated video to see what GPU/CPU bundles are best with today’s prices. The i7-860 is only $30 on eBay right now.
Really unique channel.. Rather than showing us the new GTX next generation series you are showing us something that is affordable and is worth every penny. Great work!!
Could you make a video on how to buy second hand / used safely? Unfortunately since I live in the Netherlands I cant use websites since amazon as easily
Sep 1. Go to eBay 2. Select Bids only 3. Look for something that you are interested in 4. Check seller, if he has a lot of negative comments don't buy from him and repeat number 3, if he has positive comments you can buy from him 5. Buy your item(s) 6. Enjoy
Je kan makkelijk bestellen van amazon.de vanuit nederland en belgië. ook 2dehands, ik heb dit zelf ook al gedaan en had m`n bestelling in drie dagen zonder verzendingskosten ;)
Hey man check out Tech City's Deepcool dukase v2 its a 360$ build with a xeon. Its made for running games at ultra settings at 1440p and it really does.
Wow! Just watched this one and what a difference between then and now. Not to say then was bad, just to say how much your vids have evolved over time :-) I, occasionally use the 750ti in office machines to this day. For eSports games, the card still rocks.
Who buys OS? I mean, you can just download it for free from Microsoft, install it and then activate it with KMS (fake key, fake server respond, but real updates and stuff)
Oscar Pineda It started with Windows 8, when MS included stock KMS functionality into the Home version of Windows. From there and now there's no border between free and paid Windows: bullshit like WRT was demolished. Why bother cracking when you can just fool the system with no patches at all?
i recently built a pc for a friend buying used ebay parts. very similar to this rig. i won a lenovo thinkcentre pc in an auction for $129 that had a i7 870, 6gb ddr3 ram, and a 750gb hdd then bought the same motherboard for $40 and a stock intel fan for $10. then i got a gtx 1050 for $110 on newegg. i had a leftover case that i used making a pretty awesome pc. my only problem is only 6gb ram and battlefield 1 needs at least 8 according to system requirements but hey bet it'll still work.
wow, I upgraded a friend's pc with this exact motherboard! It used to have an r7 240 and amd fx 4300 with a cheapo motherboard. I put an hd 6870 and i5 760 with the aforementioned board and he has gotten much better performance out of it
I upgraded a FX 4300 to this i7 870, and took the base clock of 2.9 all the way to 4.2, and I'm not done yet. Runs like a literal toaster. Hot and it gets the fucking job done
Well.. that.. was... unexpected xD A very good 200 dollar Gaming PC that runs almost everything at 1080p High resolution over 40 fps. Keep up the good work!
That system is a lot better than my second PC I've builded a few months ago for 132€ / 143$ (Still had a DVD drive, PSU, hard drive, 2GB RAM stick, and one case fan laying around) which I used the following parts for: Phenom II X4 955 + Motherboard + 4GB RAM bundle, a GTX 570, and a case with 2 LED fans installed, aswell as another 2GB RAM stick It runs GTA5 just fine, but struggels a lot with Battlefield 1... At the moment my main PC is also broken so I use the second PC quite a lot...
Your videos always put me back into reality after watching someone with a 6950x and a working configuration of 4 Titan XPs ... (i know Pascal is officialy limited to dual SLI for games only, but it apparently can be made to work)
Excellent choice of CPU. I find the Lynnfield i7 to be surprisingly powerful. Back when they came out I thought they were a bit disappointing as they were not that much faster than the previous gen core 2 quads. In fact at stock clocks my q9650 was often more powerful than the i7s in contemporary games and applications. I recently made myself a budget LAN gaming PC as I didn't want to risk damaging my main gaming PC during transit. I opted for an i7 870 and I'm amazed at how well it runs new games compared to the q9650 despite both CPUs having very similar IPC. I think the intergraded memory controller makes the biggest difference between the two CPUs
A few weeks ago a sold my 750ti to get an upgrade it's great little card for the money, try to get a i5 2400 it's a very popular on the second hand market, also please try to test more games like the most played from steam. Good luck and keep up with videos like this i wish i wached it a year ago instead of spending my money in new and more expensive parts
I don't build unless I can use my favorite case, the Corsair Carbide 200R. It's a bit out of the range of the system you're talking about but the Carbide is perfect for anyone's build.
The i7 860 is still a solid little chip! I have one in my rig that I over clocked to 3.3Ghz on the stock voltage, and pared with a 6gb GTX 1060. For the most part, the CPU doesn't ever hold the system back!
You should get a xeon x3440 or x3470 for that board. You can find a bunch of those old xeons for less then $50 and they can still hang with some newer cpus when it comes to gaming.
I built I7 950, 1Tb HDD, GTX 480, 750PSU, 6GB ram and NZXT H2 case, Win 7 for less than 200$. It's a bad GPU I know but I got it for less than 30$ and it's still quite good in performance.
Just got a system like this with a dell inspiron t1500 case and mobo as well as an i7 860, 4gb ddr3 ram, 1 the hdd, 350 w psu, windows 10, and a random gpu that I am planning on upgrading asap along with the ram all for $100 (includes shipping and warranty :) ).
I recently bought an Asrock Z87m Extreme 4 for 36 pounds. Although I had to take it back to the seller to do a BIOS flash because it won't take my i5 4590 as is, the experience was OK. Hopefully in the future I can drop a 4790K in it. BTW, when I was installing the board, I just searched for the manual and there goes all the info I needed, pin layout, board layout, you name it.
Just goes to show how quickly prices can change. Almost a year on and the CPU/motherboard bundle seen here for £100 is now going for almost double that price on eBay, the CPU alone goes for what RGIHD paid for the whole thing.
I cannot believe I've underestimated Gumtree (I'm sorry senpai), I've found so far a prebuild with an i5-3470 (same performance as an i5-6400) + 16GB RAM + 250GB HDD + Win10 + M/KB for £125. Then the GPUs are as awesome, £25-30 for either a HD 7850 or GTX 570, and for £40 a GTX 590 (Sli enabled games will run like a GTX 780). Its like a budget PC wet dream come true, and this is only UK without considering other places like /r/hardwareswap.
If you're getting this information from skueztech then don't trust him he lies and just steals other people's benchmarks and doesn't specify the other specs
Cory InDaHouse Nope, you can find it anywhere, CPUBoss, CPU.UserBenchmark, CPU-World, Game Debate, all saying that its margin of performance is almost within a %2-%5 for gaming.
Welcome to the world of Intel, where rebranding our CPUs is key. Essentially they're just lazy to innovate even with 14nm technology because they can get away with AMD not releasing a CPU lately, but that's where Zen will come and hopefully create a new benchmark for price to performance ratio.
I have the same CPU + gtx 1060 6gb. Games run at ultra-high settings 60fps solid. Replace that 750ti with 1060 6GB and watch all your games go to dat solid 60fps.
Javien Washington magic of the pc master race
only if it was true with all games... optimalization these days and porting games from consoles is something like dark age of gaming
And you don't even have to pay $60 a year just to play online!! Used to just be M$, but then Sony was all like, "Hey, look at all the money they're making by charging for something that's free on PC, Wii and our PS3".. So, fu*& those arseholes.

I'm suprised that the GTX 750 TI did so well on BF 1
well on sp... join a 64 slot server with that card and you will be looking for low 20s
singleplayer
1050 is by far the best current gpu for value, the price you're paying for the increase in performance between 1050 and 1050ti you may as well jump to the 1060 3gb
you got your 1050TI on a huge discount you can't really include that lol, in USA during black friday you could get a 1060 for about $160, in fact I bet you still can
Dank Harambe btw reddit.com/r/buildapcsales will make your life much better if you are american :>
The best 200 dollar pc build that can run new games above 30 frames per second I have ever seen on TH-cam or ever! Awesome vid man.
thanks man :)
Random Guy the CPU?? Nah that's a 7 year old CPU
• Spenser • it's been proven on Many videos on TH-cam it's still a fantastic chip and yes the i7 is being bottlenecked pretty bad because my i7 860 runs with my gtx 1060 pretty happily and never gets to 100 percent use
Random Guy yea it is pretty badly
That music at 4:30 always reminds me of Green ham gaming. You and ghg are my 2 favourite youtubers. Keep up the good work
thanks :)
SKelloggz same
RandomGaminginHD lol what is that music
that's a really good system for $200 you're getting about the same performance of the original PS4 I think that would be good for anybody that's trying to build a really budget PC that can still play games at high to medium settings

Leon G I always wondered why people throw away old PC's when they could sell them. it's sad when you think about it
***** yay someone actually shares opinions with me. The USB killer is also going to destroy the thrown PCs anyway so rest in peace PCs and console's
thats a hiest from cats
They dont know what you can still do with them ^^
Put a 980 in it, works perfect. And i have also overclocked it to 4GHz
No brand no name PSUs are a firehazard.

hell naw I woulda been gone asf if it caught on fire
yeah but for 30 quid you can get a branded psu from evga or cooler master
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the same marketing trick used by manufacturers - the good old "has an i7".
Louis "The powerful core i7" xD
c fahy the power of the xeons
Really he would have been better off with an old quad core and a newer graphics card. Considering the price to performance of the 1060 3 GB and RX 480, I don't think $50 for a 750ti is worth it. $50 vs $150+ gpu are you really trying to compare them?
Yes but 960s are going for the exact same price and 780 & 780 Tis maybe $10-$20 more. Even some 980 listings are going for around that price!
Do you ever plan selling your builds?
^ I may be interested
Monkey D. Luffy Yeah some of his builds are really tempting :)
Philip Glancey same^^
same
Whats your old system?
I am really happy to see u are growing fast☺☺
This is a fucking console killer !
sofian leleu the ps4 pro kills this so no it's not.
+ninja of fire it runs all your pc functions. plus it beats the xbone and the PS4… so yea… its a console killer
ninja of fire Do you know how much the PS4 pro costs? This is cheaper than last gen consoles but can beat the new gen consoles! Console peasants just don't understand
The PS4Pro still has to cope with an anemic AMD CPU. This Core i7 still blows it out of the water.
One of the better budget builds I've seen yet. Been looking for a friend so he can get further into PC gaming. This should definitely help him!
How the fuck does that build run better then my 900$ pc i build 1 month ago...
Well what r your specs?
Do you use the latest drivers?
List your specs.. LOL
I5-6500 3.2Ghz
16GB DDR4 RAM
GTX970ti
Hydronic afaik gtx 970 ti doesnt exist
So nice to see this channel growing fast keep up the good work!
You deserve so many more subs :D
Love your channel dude, i just built myself a high end AMD rig but i love looking at what pcs can do for budget prices.
Nice film bro :)
thanks :)
You are my new favorite tech TH-camr. You crank out quality videos faster than any other even though you're way smaller which amazes me! Keep it up.
would a 920 be better?
nvm lol it wouldn't
Different socket. 1366 socket boards are stupid expensive now.
C G0R3Z Not really I got an I7 960 8gb 1866mhz ram and a Asus Saberthooth X58 for 150 euros.
Lucky bugger. 1366 boards are at least £100 on their own here in the UK.
C G0R3Z If you buy a combo cpu+motherboard you can get them pretty cheap in the Netherlands.
After watching alot of your content and others, I decided to do a budget build... I picked up a few things locally, on a bit of a gamble as all was listed as untested/worked the last t ikme I tried it, for $20aud I got the following
-16gb ram (4x4gb)
-I7 2600k
-64gb ssd
-750w psu
-Unbranded case
-Gigabyte z68 mobo
And in a separate pick up a 2tb hdd and an rx560 4gb gpu for $80
So for a total of $100aud, mixture of medium and high settings I'm able to get pretty smooth game play anywhere between 50-60fps 1080p playing gta v, mad max, Skyrim, fallout 4, doom(2016), rise of the tomb raider, dirt 4, far cry 4, crash bandicoot and a few others..
Backplate? It is called an I/O shield. I am not trying to be rude, I just like things to be exactly right though, so ignore me if you please.
Do you think he gives a fuck?
Zach Jones I think that thing is also referred to as a "backplate"
www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1168199-whats-with-the-metal-prongs-on-this-motherboard-io-backplate/
Aden Padilla
Fair enough, just never heard it referred to in such a manner.
Dude, this build was inspiring. Playing the latest titles at 45+ on high is wicked. And for the price...I love it.
No GTA 5? Also would this be better price to performance than a $60 6300 Mobo combo + 1050ti/750ti? And can this handle recording videos?
I would go with the combo and the 1050Ti , You can run gta 5 really easy.
yes there will be no bottleneck even with something like gtx 970 or rx 470,just oc it for full potential
KrypticGuru 2.0 but a 6300 can botleneck a gtx 1050ti !! I have them .... when i get 35-40 fps my friend gets 65-70 fps in some games with the same 1050ti (he has an i5 6500)

Great content dude! Blows my mind how cheap you can build a gaming pc for now!
Do a xeon pc build
not in all the case :) sometime a xeon perform better face at a i7
Hey man check out Tech City's Deepcool dukase v2 its a 360$ build with a xeon. Its made for running games at ultra settings at 1440p and it really does.
SΛTURN Did you see the benchmarks?
SΛTURN It's old but if you want it can kick some ass.
SΛTURN I got a shitty PC with a GT 520 and a fucking pentium CPU.Your laptop has to be better :(
Wow! Just watched this one and what a difference between then and now. Not to say then was bad, just to say how much your vids have evolved over time :-) I, occasionally use the 750ti in office machines to this day. For eSports games, the card still rocks.
Who buys OS? I mean, you can just download it for free from Microsoft, install it and then activate it with KMS (fake key, fake server respond, but real updates and stuff)
sonicwifi40 sounds even better than cracking it, good thing to know. thank you good man
Oscar Pineda It started with Windows 8, when MS included stock KMS functionality into the Home version of Windows.
From there and now there's no border between free and paid Windows: bullshit like WRT was demolished. Why bother cracking when you can just fool the system with no patches at all?
ayyyyeee sweet guys!!! thanks for the build idea. this helps me so much, especially cause i want to start a channel. awesome
that's what I call a console killer..
paul Z yup. I wanna build a pc sooo bad
i recently built a pc for a friend buying used ebay parts. very similar to this rig. i won a lenovo thinkcentre pc in an auction for $129 that had a i7 870, 6gb ddr3 ram, and a 750gb hdd then bought the same motherboard for $40 and a stock intel fan for $10. then i got a gtx 1050 for $110 on newegg. i had a leftover case that i used making a pretty awesome pc. my only problem is only 6gb ram and battlefield 1 needs at least 8 according to system requirements but hey bet it'll still work.
isn't it time to give the price's in Euro's..
sander de witt 200$ = about 180€
I don't understand. Do you mean along side pounds and dollars?
johntrevy1 yes I did mean that next to dollars and pounds the price in Euro's
i thought BreXit were real...what?
Rufus stoned, Brexit is real ( to bad) but so is the Euro zone with some 300 million people in it....
wow... $200 PC with similar or even better performance than most consoles... Best budget rig I've seen yet!
Can u test CS:GO at this PC please?
Csgo will run 1080p 150 frames+
Kuwegg is right.. You could probably get 150+ frames with the 750 Ti.
Maybe even more on some maps.
I got the GT 740 and I sometimes get 200+
wh1teey x maxi But CS:GO is CPU demanding game, that's why im curious how 860 would work.
... CS:GO is not that demanding.. If your cpu is good enough you can run csgo without a GPU.
I love the i7 860. I got it when it first came out and I'm still using it
my $3000 imac runs csgo at avg 11fps
ANONYMOUS PRIME imacs are trash
KeijoVox That's my point.
ANONYMOUS PRIME why you buy i mac? me not understands
Keep up the videos Man i love going on TH-cam when Im bored out of my mind a come across one of these videos
i am too Early to think of Joke
sorry not Today
wow, I upgraded a friend's pc with this exact motherboard! It used to have an r7 240 and amd fx 4300 with a cheapo motherboard. I put an hd 6870 and i5 760 with the aforementioned board and he has gotten much better performance out of it
your building pc on video now! fantastic - now your channels entered the next level :)
i'd cut a bottle and make a tube, then put it over the cpu fan to prevent the hot air going back in order to reduce noice and improve thermals
I upgraded a FX 4300 to this i7 870, and took the base clock of 2.9 all the way to 4.2, and I'm not done yet. Runs like a literal toaster. Hot and it gets the fucking job done
this channel deserves like 50x the sub count
Well.. that.. was... unexpected xD
A very good 200 dollar Gaming PC that runs almost everything at 1080p High resolution over 40 fps.
Keep up the good work!
This pc blows mine in game performance away since I haven't changed my gpu in a while but my 670 gigabyte still lives on with me :, )
Background music during gaming is nice :)
Loved this card before I got my 980's. Now I'm rocking some good frames
To squeeze more fps , try : FOV 75 + DOF OFF + Weapon DOF OFF + Mblur OFF + Film crap OFF + Ambocc OFF
I have a i7 875 oc to 4 ghz best damn cpu and I was only kidding when I said it would last ten years 7 years later I'm still in love with it
best $200 console killer I have seen to date!!
Love your vids bro. Watching them everyday. They're so interesting. Keep it up buddy!
"two little gate things" that made my day
Man I just love watching your youtube videos!
I really love your and Green Ham Gaming Videos. You make great videos!! Great job man!
made this build and honestly, it's perfection, much better than my crappy one with the hd6670 and fx-4130
This is a great video. At just 200$ you can play modern games at High Preset at a much playable framerates is simply amazing in my opinion...
Nice video bro, you'll reach 100k soon
That system is a lot better than my second PC I've builded a few months ago for 132€ / 143$ (Still had a DVD drive, PSU, hard drive, 2GB RAM stick, and one case fan laying around) which I used the following parts for: Phenom II X4 955 + Motherboard + 4GB RAM bundle, a GTX 570, and a case with 2 LED fans installed, aswell as another 2GB RAM stick
It runs GTA5 just fine, but struggels a lot with Battlefield 1...
At the moment my main PC is also broken so I use the second PC quite a lot...
Your videos always put me back into reality after watching someone with a 6950x and a working configuration of 4 Titan XPs ... (i know Pascal is officialy limited to dual SLI for games only, but it apparently can be made to work)
your channel is gonna blow up! keep it up :D
1:28 ...on the *rise* *pricewise*...
Well, that's *nice*...
Great channel man, keep up the good work
remarkable hardware for the price
Good vid man! Keep it up! I love these types of vids!
I'm quite impressed man do I wish I had found your channel earlier haha.
Nice videos man. This has given me an idea for a cheap portable build now. ;)
I don't build unless I can use my favorite case, the Corsair Carbide 200R. It's a bit out of the range of the system you're talking about but the Carbide is perfect for anyone's build.
PLEASE MAKE MORE OF THIS
you are growing crazy fast
i got a cougar 1200watt PSU for 37pounds...
I am preety happy with it...
How on earth did you ever find that i7/mobo/ram combo for such a price. Hot damn. Can't find anything remotely close.
Can't believe that you managed to get above 40fps in all games with high settings for so cheap!
The i7 860 is still a solid little chip! I have one in my rig that I over clocked to 3.3Ghz on the stock voltage, and pared with a 6gb GTX 1060. For the most part, the CPU doesn't ever hold the system back!
I litterally build this PC today. Very interesting
I have this mobo+i7 860+8gb ram, and it runs everything perfect...after i added a gtx1050ti ofcourse. Best investment ever.
You should get a xeon x3440 or x3470 for that board. You can find a bunch of those old xeons for less then $50 and they can still hang with some newer cpus when it comes to gaming.
if you ever plan on doing another budget laptop video, look into an A8 apu powered laptop. Surprisingly capable little beasts.
amazing build honestly
I built I7 950, 1Tb HDD, GTX 480, 750PSU, 6GB ram and NZXT H2 case, Win 7 for less than 200$. It's a bad GPU I know but I got it for less than 30$ and it's still quite good in performance.
All of that is good apart from the 480 that has a hard time even running minecraft.
Hey, at least you don't have to pay for heating your house.
The 480 is literally 7-11% faster than the 750ti in games. But yes it does get hot and draw alot of power.
X3n0 minecraft is a CPU based game. A 480 does not give more fps than a GTS 450 in minecraft because it's CPU bound.
Mr. Doctor Schultz like electricity is free. But I get what you mean, it gets hot. But 580 is hotter.
This proves cheap budget builds can be done!
Really nice video, great build I have to admit. Your videos are very good.
That really helped to build my first PC, THANKS U HAVE ANOTHER SUB
TheGamerXU the 3470 is nowhere near the 6400
If you're getting this information from skueztech then don't trust him he lies and just steals other people's benchmarks and doesn't specify the other specs
Cory InDaHouse Nope, you can find it anywhere, CPUBoss, CPU.UserBenchmark, CPU-World, Game Debate, all saying that its margin of performance is almost within a %2-%5 for gaming.
Okay I guess I'm wrong but I'm new to pc parts so what I don't understand is how an old architecture low end i5 is beating a skylake i5 someone help
Replace that 750ti with 1060 6GB and watch all your games go to dat solid 60fps.
its way better than the laptop i am currently using
