Yo great vid Justin! Glad you guys had a good time playing the game. If you don't mind, could you point me to where it says on the site that its an RPG so I can get that removed? Its definitely not an RPG. Its a miniature skirmish game with lite rpg character building inspired by games like DnD and Pathfinder.
I'd hate for people to be misled about what the game can offer them, and what they should expect when investing in it. Cheers.

Doug, thanks for response. We definitely enjoyed the game, as you can tell. My apologies, it appears that the RPG designation came not from you but just about every retailer you distribute through, an incomplete list would include: Goblin Bros, Mox Boarding House, Tanuki Games, Game Nerdz, Third Eye Comics, and Level One Game Shop. All list the game specifically as Hametsu RPG. Seems odd that they would all make that same mistake. I purchased my own through Game Nerdz, and only found it because it was listed as a new RPG release. I think if viewers watch my video, or read the full title, they will see that it is on the line of an RPG, and not a clear cut RPG. The definition has some undefined borders, and this, like Rangers of Shadowdeep, resides in the shadows of the borders. Anyway, not my intent to mislead, just going by the way it is listed at seemingly every retailer, other than yourself. Thanks for watching!

To find a copy of Hametsu, as well as their tie in miniature and terrain line (neither of which is in my video), they are at BlackSiteStudio.com . The miniatures I used in the video are all from the Forbidden Fortress line, from Flying Frog Productions. The buildings are all produced by TT Combat. Good gaming and God bless!

@@juauke lol. I was hoping some folks would make it to the end to see that. My buddy was taking pics all game, so I decided to turn them into a video. Worked out better than I hoped. Thanks!

    so so.
Five Parsecs from home was my first "this kind of solo games". Five Leagues came after.
Rangers and the shadow Deep and his somehow counterpart in space stargrave with Hope Eternal are my de facto go for those kind of games.
That said I play them rarely .
I don't know that one, Hametsu. I am sure I saw it on another channel that said.
    It is miniature and Japan.
I will summarize like that. Ogumo = OO-Gumo = oo - kumo = 大蜘蛛 (let's bet those are the kanjis) which would mean big spider.
Yeah I love Japan XD I love Japanese XD

Pral, thanks for the help in my pronunciation! Was guessing, and clearly missed the mark😀. I was a war gamer for years, but found that competitive war games over time will strain friendships. Love the idea of playing a co op with RPG elements scratches a couple itches. Also, not a lot of feudal Japanese solo stuff, so I like the genre. The game wouldn’t appeal as much to me if it were a different theme. I do like Rangers of Shadowdeep as well though. Thanks for watching and sharing!

    Love the setting
Co-op play is really cool, my first time was today with my best friend (was her first TTRPG play ever and was my first online one as a GM) and it went really great!
Not a great fan of minis (they're expensive and I feel like the more you show to someone visually the more you limit their creativity and imagination), prefer TotM but will keep Hametsu in my backlog of things to get for now

Me too… setting is a big plus for me. Minis games aren’t for everyone, and this doesn’t work without minis. Thanks for watching and sharing!

Nice video. The game reminds me of Folklore: The Affliction. Also straddling the line of boardgame/ roleplaying system. Looks fun.

Folklore is one I have been afraid to dive into, because I’d want all of it. The concept looks pretty sweet though. Thanks for watching Jay!

@@booksbricksandboards783 you can contact the ManAlone solo rpg channel to sign up if they haven't closed sign-ups yet. It is a bunch of solo ttrpg channels taking turns doing a 15-minute rpg session using the same character, each continuing the story from the last one. Lots of small channels are getting a bunch of subs from it.
