Two years ago I was enthusiastically want to learn Resolume, yet I cannot catch up to understand each functions of the button till now. Perhaps I am just a slow learner. But today this tutorial is the beginning of enlightenment. Thanks, I cannot wait to start from scratch how projection mapping works with Resolume.
@@Nyctophilia123 You mean change it? Other people have said they think the name is still relevant to projection mapping more generally. e.g. a "bakery" is a creative place where ingredients are put together...
Thanks for the great quality and efforts on your job. Really appreciate it. And...i was really looking for a Resolume cake Mapping Tutorial !!!!! Its just GREAT!!
I can't thank you enough. I had Resolume 4 and could not learn it on my own. I cake decorate and this is going to be added to my skills. I am technologically savvy, however this is new to me. I have been wanting to cake map for a while now and was so confused. I now downloaded Resolume 6 and using your tutorials as a guide. Once I get the hang of it ill buy the program to get rid of that annoying watermark :).Thank you so so much.
Yes i am new.... And i want to make atleast 1 project by you help. Then i will be able to do different tasks alone. BTW you are showing us great effort. GOD BLESS YOU.
Jose Frausto same here. Been working in IT for years and dislike it. Transitioning towards motion graphics and Resolume has made look at what’s possible
Similar but not the same. MadMapper is more straightforwardly for projection mapping, whereas Resolume offers more features and is more geared towards reactive visuals in a live environment
Not quite sure I get your question. You can save a resolume project and then open that on another computer. Your projector would have to remain in the same position though, otherwise you'll have to do the mapping again
MadMapper's mapping is very intuitive though. I prefer mapping in MadMapper. But resolume does have a lot to offer and has a broader range of tools than MadMapper
im trying to map an image of a room (back wall and two side walls) unto a theater maquette consisting of similar three white surfaces built as a room. so its NOT screening the same visual unto three different surfaces but a different part of the image on each "wall"..im not sure whether this tutorial series will teach me that?...pls advise, thanks so much
Yes, this tutorial will definitely help you gain an understanding of the principles behind the advanced output features of Resolume. With that understanding you could do what you describe.
Hi, thanks for the video, very helpfull. I just have one question, is there an autosave function in Resolume 6? seems like its either save manually each time or lose all my changes. Thanks!!
@@LumaBox much thanks.....but i saw that the visuals dont cover the full screen when projected through a 13 inch one.....but does good with a 15 inch one

Man a freaking cake channel has one of the best tutorials for resolume out there.
Ha ha. Thanks. Do you think I should change the channel name to reflect that I also cover projection mapping more generally? Semi serious question 😉
@@LumaBox You should definitely doit!!

Hi
Heeeey
Waiting to see more tutorials
Resolume can make the backup and put in the another Pc the same proyect???
Not quite sure I get your question. You can save a resolume project and then open that on another computer. Your projector would have to remain in the same position though, otherwise you'll have to do the mapping again
What projector brand do you use? Thanks
For this tutorial, BenQ. It was two W1080ST+ projectors (one either side)
I guess Resolume can also do what Madmapper is doing so best to get Resolume? 😊
MadMapper's mapping is very intuitive though. I prefer mapping in MadMapper. But resolume does have a lot to offer and has a broader range of tools than MadMapper
Have You tried to use Resolume to Mapp your House?
Not yet. I really should!
And i iam waitingbto watch it

HEY!
For any type of ledwall

"Click on the icon to open the application" 🤔
I know... complex stuff ;)
Hi, thanks for the video, very helpfull. I just have one question, is there an autosave function in Resolume 6? seems like its either save manually each time or lose all my changes. Thanks!!
I don't believe there is. You just need to remember to save regularly.
Had a doubt.......will a 13 inch macbook pro be enough to project visuals on LED walls? Or do i need a 15 inch one?
Hi - the screen size of your MacBook won't affect your projections at all.
@@LumaBox much thanks.....but i saw that the visuals dont cover the full screen when projected through a 13 inch one.....but does good with a 15 inch one

Hi Hector. Hope you're finding the tutorials useful and thanks for watching.
