thnx! you can check the "live" section of this channel where i went live with community and we all gradually made a playlist together. those video have many small tips as we went.
I also wanted to add one more blend mode technique that I use often for masking and thats setting your mask content to Darken. White becomes transparent but you have to keep the opacity at 50 percent. I do this a lot for logos for instance and I find that I have more control over how much or how little of the masking I want that way. Like lets say I want to change the content underneath it for a transition. I'll boost the mask layer to 100 so there is no transparency then change what I want underneath, then bring it back down to 50 or take off the logo entirely to transition. Downside though, whatever your white content is it can't have an alpha layer, as I've noticed that even clicking off the alpha box on the clip won't work. Its common for me to load both an alphad and non alphad logo in my composition so I can choose which I want to show live.
@@l.j.crandell5764 if you are talking about the white footages on layer 2, they are from the VJ bank called "next dimension". - you can use any black and white video for this action. - you dont necessarily need black and white to set them up as mask but mask will work on luminance (black and white) of the footage. so black and white makes less confusion and more use.
This is an awesome tutorial! Great Work!
Would you mind if we shared this with the community?
it will be an honor for me if you shared it with more like us
@@ZunayedSabbirAhmed Awesome! Thank you very much! 😎
