    I will speak for the epic-ness of the sauce ebooks (& really all her ebooks). I made the Alfredo sauce which consist of less than 5 ingredients, and you couldn't tell me it wasn't Alfredo. Hannah is the queen of simplicity.

    Confidence is something I struggle with truthfully, but then there's days were I feel like I'm on cloud 9 and no one can stop me. Good food, exercise and laughter always boost my confidence.

    I've been appreciating your channel more and more lately. I love how you show a truly balanced whole foods plant based diet and don't recommend extreme or restrictive lifestyles like some TH-camrs (who end up failing and then blaming veganism rather than orthrexia). Anyways, thank you!!

    I read Kamal's book as you guys suggested...it changed my entire foundation, how I talk to myself and what others sense in me. In summation...now, people sense someone who's loved...even if they do not know that there are times when I am the only one offering me love...the projection of a loved and cherished human being presents exactly the same. Thanks again you guys.

    I've always struggled with extreme insecurity & low self image-so confidence & feeling good about myself has remained out of reach all my life. One thing I learned recently is to approach it as a PRACTICE rather than something that you are or are not. This is hugely helpful to me, because a practice is something I can do! Putting into action even if I don't yet "believe" it is a repeatable actionable process, and by practicing it I begin to embody it more & more. Thanks for all that you do, hope my comment helps someone else with this too.

    Practicing self love is easier for me than being able to continuously actualize self confidence. I live in Atlanta and street harassment is REAL. Walking from classes or to/from work is scary here as a woman, and not being allowed just to BE in public space; my confidence in myself collapses when I experience street harassment. I envey your lifestyle and hope to live one day in a setting that's more akin to off-the-grid ❤

    Thank you Caitlin, I needed to hear this message today. Went dress shopping, gained so much weight after a breakup, every dress was so tight. I tried the spanx, that didn't help, so I returned the dress before I even left the mall. Then I did find a dress, it's pretty, leopard, but it's not super fancy for a wedding, but at least it covers my stomach. I have been watching what I eat, but I know it takes time. I gained 15 pounds after the breakup, so I need to work every day at what I eat, and I have been exercising. Thank you for your inspiring videos, I bought your latest book, Lean and Clean, it's a great book!!! I have been doing yoga and exercise in the morning. It's cold where I live, so I haven't been walking. Once the weather warms up, (I don't like the cold) I am going for walks. Thanks for always being so uplifting and inspiring.

    I really admire and respect you. I love what you had to say about confidence. You’re soo right about it being crucial to achieving goals. I have a lot of girl friends that struggle with their identities and self-love. It makes me soo sad. I try to explain these concepts to them, but they don’t really seem to internalize it. It takes a level of self-awareness that I think a lot of people lack these days. So... thank you for sharing that message :)

    You live some place where it's snowy one day and 60 degrees the next? Girl, that sounds cool! I'm originally from Florida where it was hot or rainy. So I moved to Missouri because I like actual changes in the seasons! But about the video, that salad dressing you made and the salad itself looked delicious! I like the acai bowl too.     omg i had to pause to comment that the same thing happened to me! my hair never grew past my shoulders, my mom's doesn't either so its genetics but literally once i went vegan my hair is down to my waist now!! :)

    Awesome reminder about confidence. I've recently changes my lifestyle realizing this is the best way to keep results &actually heal.
    I find myself with anxiety about talking to others in my life who ask because I know they don't understand all the reasons nor do I owe any explanations either. I feel confident at times so I just love hearing others talk about this information thanks! I've been following MM too high should have Derik do the rescue liver cleanse for acne too that is one thing I'm healing from...

    Being.vegan for over one year, I have noticed some hair loss . Not happy about that . Been upping my protein intakes and.biotin ....what else.can I do ? I'm having the opposite problem with veganism ...my hair is hardly growing ! Im.really frustrated with this . I ll.take any tips u may have !

    I totally agree with you on the self confidence thing! I struggle with it too, I think being on camera and on TH-cam we can be a lot more self critical. You should create a video with tips on how to improve your self confidence! I found that daily journaling helps me a ton.. but I also struggle so much because I’ve gained weight and have acne so I often feel bad about myself

    MM doesn’t advise eating corn. Maybe you guys are just following some of his stuff. I use Ezekiel tortillas. Heat dry in pan on stove with a 4 cup glass measuring cup to weigh down and flip until crisp, then cut or break apart.

      CG MM also doesn’t advise eating wheat or soy, both of which are in Ezekiel tortillas unfortunately. He has a recipe for sweet potato tortillas on his website. Maybe try those instead?

    Confidence part. I actually broke down into tears. I am struggling so bad with this. I am at a very low point right now...but I am trying to slowly migrate my diet to high carb low fat plant based and exercising daily again. Can’t wait to try the açaí bowl tho and get the sauce book when I can ❤️❤️

      Hi! Have you read The Happiness trap? Its about acceptance and commitment therapy (similar to CBT) and it’s has really good techniques if you struggle with negative emotions. The main point is that if you have a negative emotion you shouldn’t fight/block it, instead you make peace with it. There are techniques in a book. So while positive psychology tells stay positive, replace negativity and etc ACT tells you that you can’t simply do that for a long period of time.
      The book is really eye opening. Highly recommend it. Ps sorry for my English

    Hello! Ive been subscribed to you for quite a while. My first time commenting. I really appreciate your videos. Enjoy seeing you and Derek grow together. I am slowly transitioning to vegan. since I have been changing my diet, I too have longer healthier hair. Could never get it past my shoulders before. I think we all have days where our confidence wanes. Probably part of being human. Oh also seeing a change in my eye color. I have so much love for animals, it's hard for me to understand why everyone turns a blind eye to the slaughter houses and what goes on there. I can only send them love and hope that they wake up.     SORRY but high carb low fat never worked for me. IT Was so difficult losing weight, i was bloating and losing my muscles. I was ravenous hungry all the time. I Iost 20 kg in two months by keto diet. But I visit your channel for your lovely vegan recipes make for my mom and you are such human being.

      It didnt work for me too. I'm not keto but I just stopped measuring macros except for making sure I got enough protein and amino acids. I feel so much better. I need the fat

I'm vegan for 2 years now but I gained so much weight because I really enjoy vegan meals and everything about veganism and becomes my life, I turned vegan because of the animals and the nature not for my healthy. The sad part is that I have depression for a long time ago and I'm working out of this, I recently lost some weight and your channel is exactly what I have figured out these days the secret to lose weight.     I've been following you for about a year and a half now. At that point I went mostly vegan. It was the Netflix documentaries that led me this way and a desire for longevity in life. But also a desire to lose weight. Unfortunately I gained about 15pounds last year, I admit I was mostly vegan, having a rare cheat day. Then I recently lost 1% body fat (and gained some muscle!) following a diet plan through the workout program I do. But I keep going back to longevity over vanity so this week I started back whole foods/plant based eating plenty of starches. And already the scale is creeping back up and I'm panicking. I keep thinking what if this doesn't work for every person?!! Thoughts?

    I can't eat gluten either, but also have a peanut allergy. I can eat small amounts of other nuts though, so I sub out for other nut butters or skip nut orientated recipes, but I like Let's get Saucy!

    Thank you for your motivational intro. It's a wonderful reminder that we are all worth it. I wanted to reach out to you and make a suggestion about flaxseed. We need omega 3 in our diets and we all should be consuming 2 tablespoons a day. I add it to my salads, salad dressing, sprinkle it on my natchos.... tomato sauce, in my layers of sushi. You get the point..also maybe it's a good idea to also promote in what a eat in a day our B12 supplement. We all need reminders. Especially if we have young people who are interested in changing into vegans. I love your chanel and I hope that you continue to be the voice for the animals and the voice for awesome vegan meals 🥰
