Took me 11m 28s. One of the few times I beat Kathy. Yay! I feel like there was a logic error at 3:11. I can't see any reason orange has to go down. Orange could have been region 1 and then it would have been easy to split the remaining cells into 2 regions touching r2c2 and r2c3. Did I miss something? Edit: I think I see it. r2c3 would have to be a 3 but so would r1c3 which breaks it.
While my solve was fast (just 2:04), I feel like some of my decisions were more hunches than full logical decisions that just happened to work out. Many thanks to Kavi for the very cool puzzle, and to Kathy for a fully logical solve! 🙂
Thanks Kathy your start with colours helped me finish

Wow, this is a neat puzzle!
I felt like I was just guessing so I watched you solve it instead but I still don't understand how this puzzle works. GG though. Glad to see you back.
Interesting puzzle by Kavi
Nice solving by Kathy.
