I love this tag! Such a fun way to assess reading goals before the end of the year. I love what you said at the end about your goals for next year and your goal being more about how you'll feel next year than any number or specific book. LOVE that!!
@@BonnieNicoleWrites I would love to hear about your plans if you feel up to it! 😊 Yes, feeling good is the goal! I will probably also have a list of books I want to get to, but I’ll try to base it on how I think they’ll make me feel. Seems like as good of a measurement as any other! 😄
It's crazy how little time we have left in the year 😅 Great list and I think you'll have fun with One Dark Window. Looking forward to what you end up getting to!
Kate Foster's covers are stunning. Good luck with finishing what you can/want. I'm participating in the Read What You Own challenge, as we speak! 2 books down, into my 3rd. I have low expectations and aiming for 5 to start and then we'll see...
Great goals and list! The Mare sounds very interesting. I’ve never heard of it before, but I’m always interested in reading books and watching movies about heavier topics, especially WW2, since I’m German and basically all my history lessons in school focused on it. Definitely adding it to my list!
@@Olgyta Thank you! Yes I can imagine you study that a lot. For good reason. We do too quite a bit. I wish others did too… seems like some people would have done well to recognize some signs. I’m very… excited is not the right word. I want to read it soon, let’s just say that!
I always enjoy this tag at the end of the year (and how is it the end of the year already??) I've heard Melinda's rave reviews of Mink River. Good luck finishing your Big Book! Sounds like you have several books on difficult topics coming up. Having fun with your reading is a great goal! I'm with you - I never set a goal for number of books. Great update - I will definitely be doing this one, too!

Yes, I think I can get Mink River back in December, I would like to finish what I started. Same with Ours! I am impressed by your list of books! And the ending credits gave me a good laugh! 😂 I admire those who can read books with heavy topics, I tend to avoid those unfortunately (but I do have one on my tbr). This is an awesome tag! I believe that you'll finish Ours soon -- I believe!! 🥰 I didn't know that it was about hockey at all from Fredrik Backman. I'm really excited to see what you think about A Dark Window 😲 It's been on my TBR for so long but I haven't gotten around to it. It seemed like it'll be something up my alley. I also have no idea about anything about prizes 😂 I almost never base my picks from the prizes... it has to do with those who talk about the books. It's such a good reminder that we're not in competition into anything!! We're just here to read for our own benefits and wants, and not anything else!! I'm definitely making a note of this tag to personally just reflect on my reading goals too 😂The 2 books for sure I want to get to is: Ruthless Vows (I want to finish one series at least!!!), and Anxious People. not sure who will be on the list as the 3rd pick just yet.
I agree! Haha thank you for the confidence! 😂 I have my doubts, but I'll do my best! It is and isn't about hockey. I don't care about hockey at all but I still loved it. I'm so excited to get to One dark window, it's on top of the pile. It seems like a fun time! That's so true about prizes vs personal recs and reviews. I kind of think of prizes the same though, like I want to "get to know" a prize so that I know if I like what they like. Which ones most aligns with my taste. If I can find one that does, that's a good source of great recs! But it doesn't mean those are better than any other rec from anyone. Absolutely! There are so many people telling everyone else what to think and what's the right way of reading, and I just find it so exhausting! Like, leave me alone to enjoy whatever books I want! 😂 Let me know what your third pick will be if you decide on one 😊
Oh fun! I haven't started it yet, but I've only got it for a couple of weeks so I will soon. I like the fact that it's only two books in the series/duology, that's a manageable amount for me! Three tops 😂 I look forward to seeing you do the tag!
