I love your video, especially colours! what camera did you film it with and what LUT did you use? (B-roll is just wonderful)!

Thanks mate, I shot the broll on a komodo I usually don’t use it for youtube stuff but I was testing something out. No luts just a lot of adjustment layers. Contrast layer, color layer, temperature layer, etc

Great video. I am just learning too, on Leica.

Thanks, this video isn’t fully about learning on a leica but it’s what i’m currently shooting. I love it !

The. Title is kind of misleading. I mean you don't really talk about the Leica camera, you first mention it after half of the video. And the "learning photography" part is really vague. The color photos do look nice though.

Sorry bout that, kinda the only way youtube works. If i titled it just talking photography, you would have never watched it. Gotta play the game a lil but I will try to be more clear in the future.

@@berto_cento I get your thinking. But I actually was interested in what you had to say about the camera and - I am sorry to say that - your general impressions on photography were not that worthwile either. You seem like a cool guy and you clearly have a good eye, but clickbait titles only get you so far. I still have so many questions even after seeing your video:
      1. What was your experience when shooting the Leica Camera? How did it differ to the Mamiya?
      2. What film stocks did you use? What were your observations about the different ways of handling contrast and colour?
      3. What was your process of learning? Did you shoot only in B/W first or in colour right away? What would you suggest for others?
      4. How do you choose compositions (you could go more in detail for that)? Do you use a lightmeter or how do you set your camera?
      5. Development? Who does it?
      6. Maybe you could show some failures and how you improved them. Your video is about learning photography.
This shouldn't come across as some aggression or anything but your little chat in front of the bathroom mirror still was quite lackluster and considering your potential with color grading and composition, it's really a shame. If you put more thought in the content, you will be great. So please, just consider my criticism as some pointers for improving.

Thank you man, I will keep these in mind! If I do make a video more based around the technical stuff I will make sure to do my best to answer some of these.

Which color film are you using?

The photos in here are either portra 400, 800 or ektar 100. There may have been a shot on gold or fuji color 200

Do you prefer monochrome or color?

It really just depends on my mood. I think taking a good monochrome photo is harder. Color film has a great look and pops most the time. but i enjoy both it just depends
