This channel was formally known as Jank Town. I will forever remember that name, and it's goals. But I have grown and learned more about random names, and have fallen for a new one.
Loaf Made will be a channel that talks about photography, film, the brand that is loaf made and more.

The Perfect Reading List Object
มุมมอง 1324 หลายเดือนก่อน
I firmly believe that books are special. Creating a book, whether it's good or bad, is no easy feat. Producing a great book is an achievement as significant as any. When you read a book and truly connect with it, there is something spiritual about it-a new connection is made. This happens with films and television as well, but books, being physical objects, become more than just stories; they b...
The Perfect Tool For A Project
มุมมอง 2.2K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
I think every task or project requires a specific tool that carries the work load. Ansel Adams said, "Do not lose sight of the essential importance of craft; every worthwhile human endeavor depends on the highest levels of concentration and mastery of basic tools.” Please comment what you think and if you liked the video, subscribe! more info on Hasselblad: www.hasselblad.com/about/history/500-...
The Perfect Camera

Ive been using the Leica mp for over two years now, this isn't a review really, more an opinion on the camera and photography. Obviously subjective, would love to know what your 'perfect' cameras are in the comments. berto_cent on instagram Insta: berto_cent Newsletter: loafmade.substack.com/p/createrefine

So the new notebooks are hard cover. Have you grabbed one, and what do you think of them? Or is hard cover a automatic no-go?
Ive got both, working on a update video !
I wish you the best of luck mate. The bags look delicious!
This is beautiful, amazing work on the design of the book itself
Thank you so much!
making me wanna book another trip

Hoping you get more of your notebooks :) Great vid!
I’m scared of doing some of these on my pocket knife as it will damage my edge.
Outstanding video. Outstanding Camera👍 My own perfect companion camera/lens combination is a Canon VT Deluxe w/ 21mm f4 LTM Voightländer Color Skopar MC loaded with Rollei RPX 100 Finding your own personal favorite EDC camera is a joy. For landscapes I shoot with a Linhof But my everyday companion is the Canon rangefinder.
Linhof 6x17?
@@berto_cento Yes, 617s Technorama..the 2nd of 3 generations with a fixed 90 f5.6 Super Angulon. It's my favorite all time camera but I only use it for special projects.
Shakey camera. Passé
So all in all ma Elon 3aze just opening packaging and shit you don't need a knife ma ela 3aze
Great video. Looks like that light meter is spot on. BTW where do you get your music from?
I love the emotion in your video. I get that feeling of having a product you love and you'd keep buying them only to discover they're not being made anymore. I've never heard of this company but I'm going to keep an eye on their website since it sounds like the relaunch is in the next few months. An alternative journal that I could recommend is the Everyday Blank Notebook from Galen Leather, part of my love for those though is that I use fountain pens and the paper in those notebooks is fantastic for them.
ok....... who told them?
I love the MP, I shoot with an M6 and i absolutely LOVE IT. May get an MP some day to go along with my M6.
love this video! do you usually zone focus? whats your preffered F stop? thinking of getting into film again. Thanks :)
Thanks, I tend to only zone focus when im in a fast pace setting and see a shot I need. I usually shoot at f8 sometimes f11 if im zone focusing more.
Don’t know a thing about cameras but your photos are beautiful. Liked and subbed.
Incredible photography! The visuals are lovely. Subbed and liking and commenting!
Is it too much to stain and finish one of these? Then I might consider buying one, depending on the price. Cheers!
Love the video, your studio, the music and what I thought was an Indian (Native) painting. I’m NDN (as we say) and I liked the glimpse I saw. I’m going to follow just for the heck of it and hopefully you’ll get a bazillion subscribers at some point! Keep making those vids!
Where can we find Best Made Co??
I'm happy with the Rollei combo: Rolleicord/flex TLR for simplicity, and SL66 for more features (multiple lenses, film backs, etc). After some time shooting with 6x6, 35mm felt less exciting. Of course, I typically prefer shooting objects instead of peoples, sometimes on tripod. Pretty sure every photographer have different favourite genre, different workflows, and thus different favourite cameras. For some, 35mm is sufficient. And for some, perhaps shouldn't be less than a 4x5.
couldn’t agree more !
Very nice! Love the colors and how the images are keeping highlights and contrast. ❤ keep up the nice work!
Thank you so much!
I love the aesthetic of the video, the vibe, calming with a little bit of sadness on top of it. Calmly, slowly describing the feeling of losing the joy of getting satisfied with a simple yet meaningful thing, thinking the joy will disappear forever, then surprised by the fact that there’s a chance that it will come back again, and that’s the reason why this video was born. It’s just heartwarming.
Your video is CRAZY! It's nostalgic and inspiring at the same time.
Can anyone tell me the name of the music?
nice collection 🙂
Great stuff
Any camera can do! I avoided it's use (the Hasselblad) at all times! BS buddy!
?
The 395 collection sounds epic
Nice black and white!
Damn, When i saw the thumbnail and the starting of the video, I thought it must have like a million views but to my surprise, not really, not even 25k, but the video is top notch, the videography, story telling and aesthetics of the video, everything is just immaculate. I hope you actually reach 'BEST MADE' and they start making those red notebooks :) <3
I want one so bad man
Based vid
Honestly man I think its a camera I will never get rid of, stays around my neck 24/7 and just feels solid 100% of the time
How do get to sleep or go for a shower without damaging the camera and lens?
I will buy at least two packs if they come back! Never again will i take a notebook for granted
Beautiful contrasty color, you're a great photographer.
Thank you !
Great video. I love my M6, and shoot film frequently.
Nice video! I got an M6 and a lot of what you said resonated with me. I also make videos about photography, so if you're interested 🙂
Battery independent manual/mechanical cameras are perfect for me. The Leica M6 is my perfect 35mm film rangefinder camera. I use it with 21/35/90mm leases. The Nikon F2 with non-metering prism finder is my perfect 35mm film SLR camera. I use it with lenses that range in focal length from 14mm to 1000mm.
I do own Leica MP for a year or more, my first one. Before I had few digital and some medium format film cameras, 35mm film cameras too. Where every of it had different purpose and the way it works. If compared to 35mm film cameras I had (F5/F100) the output is top notch for any of it, either it's Nikon or Leica. From creativity perspective Leica brings no advantage as well. Buuuut there's another aspect, camera itself, the device - that MP brings some magic. I'd say that I always want to carry it with me, just shoot and shoot, roll after roll. All that swiftness in rewinding, how stupidly simply it's, weight and physical balance in everything, how surfaces are machined etc. etc. I want to touch it everyday, that's what I've been doing actually so it gets patina, regardless it feels and looks even better.
Love your photos. Let them have more time to shine during your videos.
Seriously, your photos are amazing! I use a Leica M3 with 50mm lens and a Leica M5 with 35mm for my travel and street photos. When I want to shoot portraits, I break out the Hasselblad 500 CM or Mamiya RB67. Different tools for different jobs!
I love the m5, the meter in it seems great also. Thanks for the kind words
Perfection all around
hahah amazing I hope you get your notebooks
I enjoyed your video. Bought a Leica BP MP in February and loving the camera. It has everything I like in an M film camera.
Liked, and subscribed! Handling a Leica MP was a seed that was planted, probably about a decade ago, that eventually resulted in my adding the Leica M system in 2018, though I started with a new M10 and a pre-owned Summilux-M 50mm ASPH, a retirement gift to myself. In the longer term, film cameras are longer-lasting, so, an MP remains on my wish/grail list. (For now, I can shoot 35mm film with a Nikon SLR, the FM3A, which can be used with a battery to power the meter, or shot without battery/meter.)
The old nikons are all beasts ! Great cameras, im so use to rangefinder system now I feel weird with slrs. But One day id love to get a clean nikon set up. Dennis Hopper in Apocalypse Now vibes will always make those Nikons cool
Enjoyable presentation.
Excellent video
that's a good one
