You may not vacuum as much as I do, but a wall-mounted dedicated Garage Vacuum with a 30' hose will change your life. Way less hassle than rolling a big ole LOUD shop vac around. The gray cabinets look great and make the garage look bigger.

I bought that same display for in the house and returned it for the better lighting array. That 800h backlight bleed was so pervasive. A black screen was nearly gray, and any letterboxing was covered in bleeding-in light.
The lift, stairs and how you setup your attic is genius. How many of us have crap all over the garage and a largely unused garage attic.
Well done Matt - you have made so much progress in such a short time...with the lighting you're installing the space will be superb. Would you have done much the same at the Lake House I wonder?
That is going to be one incredible garage. My dream garage for sure. Heck, I wouldn't mind having 1/3 of the stuff in that garage as my dream garage. If I can ever swing it, Obsessed Garage is doing my entire garage at my new house, whatever the cost!!

You can get sound proofing drywall, or sound deadening drywall. That plus the other material will be huge.

@@DJR5280 generally they are called Owners Corporations here in Australia. We don't have to many gated communities here with normal house blocks. Owners Corporations are more there are unit or townhouse complexes
@@DJR5280 most owners Corp or Body Corporations are there to look after share building facilities, insurances and maintenance in places like an apartment block.
@@GregCrellin HOA's aren't just for gated communities. Any development that has any sort of community amenities, anything from a swimming pool area, all the way down to some landscaping around a monument sign at the development entrance, is usually required by the municipality to have an HOA to pay for maintenance on those amenities.
Matt, I've been a customer at OG for years. I've been eyeing on some Saber cabinets for my next home.
Don’t forget you can throw some adhesive acoustic vibration mats commonly used for sound deadening the sheet metal in vehicles on any of those cabinet doors, under shelves, or cabinet walls to get an amazing feel and sound. Seems like something you will enjoy. Cabinets will feel way more premium if done correctly. I am about to be pouring slab for my new air conditioned oversized three car right now with sole intentions to blow you out of the water. Let the OCD prevail! You are really pushing me to go with the gray cabinets. Look forward to supporting your business.

You mention sound systems for the garage. Checkout the Maui P900 that was designed by Porsche partnering with LD Systems. Would go perfect with the garage! Also baller status
Have you looked at locker style cabinets that have the shelving that slides out on tracks so it's easier to see what you have and get to it instead of having to reach into the back? I prefer the slide out drawers to fixed shelves.
Glad to see the cabinets off the floor. Why did you do the upper so high? Ok your cabinets are lower than mine. Mine are 9.5 off the floor so a floor check can be stored underneath.
The cabinets look sweet. Would have preferred a shade or two darker.
Is that a concrete pour under the cabinets if so did it come with the house? Also, what about a good filing cabinet with locks? Really like the locker cabinet. Good for some storage.
Your Sonic tools look like rebranded NWS. Start you search there for the complimentary tools if you want to keep the same look and feel.
Love that you're getting back into audio - check out SNAP AV - they have everything but I have their epidose for now. It's the Karcher (but punches above their weight) to your Dynadio/Kranzle (and you'll like their margins).

Why didn't you install a central vacuum system?
Central vacs were cool in 1987. I will be installing a professional custom vacuum system.
I hope the roll up doors are hurricane rated. Otherwise you will have to replace them when you move.
I looked at the TMAX website, and sadly there isn't much info on the actual website.
Hurricane rate is dumb. The chances of us getting hit is super small.

This seems to support my hunch that it is cheaper to knock down my 2 car garage house and rebuild it than it would be to try to remodel my garage and add a pool to the house. Remodeling costs seem to be much higher than building a new house in the same lot.

Beware that AC unit over the TV. Lost one that way when the AC randomly sprung a leak one day. I suppose it was a good excuse to upgrade.

The cost for those Sabre cabinets would not be that much more than New Age for the similar size array. What would kill is the shipping for Sabre. I had to get New Age as there wasn’t anything else available. I have the Pro. They are ok, but not super legit. In the end it’s shop cabinets, so it’s ok
Shipping was like $1500. Better to pay for shipping than end up with junk.

@@ObsessedGarage please elaborate? why do you think they are junk? I am looking into some garage cabinets for myself and New Age have wider, taller, deeper lockers. They are about $2500 less than Saber cabinets. Saber looks nice and I would love to have that but what makes them worth $2500 more? I will be in the market for cabinets in the future so I want to make sure I make the right financial and quality decision.
Just got and put your hands on them. The fit and finish is not good. The drawers and door are flimsy. It's all about show with New Age. All show, very little substance. I'll be making a video soon. I'm not making this stuff up.

“Cheap 1300 display” talk about a different world. At my work if I make a mistake someone can die and I don’t make that in 2 weeks.
It's all about knowledge and risk. I've spent my entire life pursuing knowledge and have taken and appropriate amount of risk that has afforded the ability to come to conclusions that indeed $1300 for a giant 75" display is every inexpensive. You'd want to ask yourself, "While other people were pursuing knowledge, what was I doing?"
